Li Nian’er was keeping track of the ti, growing more and more anxious by the mont. She still didn’t want to go rescue Ye Qingchen, as that would make it seem like she was backing down.

Just as Ye Qingchen was thinking about how to question her, Li Nian’er leaped out of the water and landed in front of him. Ye Qingchen, who had been about to confront her, was struck dumb and simply stood there, his mouth agape in surprise.
Li Nian’er, however, was irate. Pointing at his nose, she began to scold him.
"Did the waterfall knock your brains loose? Once you fell into the pool, couldn’t you have surfaced? ditating at the bottom of the lake... I thought you had died in there!"
Ye Qingchen didn’t hear a single word of her scolding. He was still staring at her, dumbfounded. The reason was simple. In her frantic worry, Li Nian’er hadn’t bothered to use her Spiritual Power to part the water and had dived straight in. As a result, her clothes were completely soaked.
Li Nian’er was already dressed in a bold, sumry style. Now drenched, her outfit beca even more revealing, leaving almost nothing to the imagination. Li Nian’er’s face instantly turned crimson. Mortified, she slapped Ye Qingchen across the face.
Ye Qingchen, completely srized by the beautiful sight before him, was caught off guard. The terrifying force of the blow sent him flying uncontrollably, and he crashed heavily back into the pool.
Li Nian’er was now both ashad and furious. While Ye Qingchen was in the water, she quickly took so clean clothes from her storage ring to change into. She was ashad that Ye Qingchen had seen nearly all of her. She was furious that he, her junior brother, had not only seen her in such a compromising position but had stared for so long without a word of warning.
In truth, it wasn’t Ye Qingchen’s fault. Li Nian’er simply didn’t realize the imnse power her body held over n.
Having been slapped, Ye Qingchen knew he was in the wrong and didn’t dare linger in the water. He channeled his Spiritual Power and leaped back onto the shore.
But, as luck would have it, he landed just as Li Nian’er had shed her wet clothes.
He saw everything.
Great. Now, anything he might have missed before was on full, crystal-clear display.
By this point, Li Nian’er’s face was flushed to the roots of her ears. She hastily fumbled with her clean clothes, trying to put them on. Ye Qingchen had learned his lesson. He shot her only a brief glance before hurriedly turning around and jumping back into the water.
A few monts later, guessing that Li Nian’er must have finished dressing, Ye Qingchen cautiously poked his head out. After confirming she was fully clothed, he returned to the shore and carefully asked, "Senior Sister, should I continue my training now?"
Li Nian’er kicked him in the rear and snapped, "Train my foot! If you dare breathe a word of what happened today to anyone, you’ll answer to !"
Ye Qingchen nodded imdiately and turned to apologize.
By now, Li Nian’er had cald down. She knew she couldn’t really bla Ye Qingchen for what had happened. Besides, as his senior sister, being seen by him once wasn’t such a catastrophe. However, Ye Qingchen’s constant apologies were starting to annoy her, as every ti he apologized, it forced her to recall the embarrassing scene from monts ago.
So, Li Nian’er waved her hand dismissively. "Enough nonsense. Did you make any progress while you were ’training’ in the lake just now?"
Ye Qingchen scratched his head and sighed. "To be honest, Senior Sister, from the very beginning, I felt that the nature’s spiritual energy in the lake was unusual, but I couldn’t pinpoint why. I had just started to get a grasp on it, I was about to figure it out, but then you interrupted..."
Hearing him about to bring up the incident again, Li Nian’er quickly cut him off. "You said you felt sothing unusual in the water?"
Ye Qingchen nodded. "That’s right. The nature’s spiritual energy here seems different from other places, but I can’t quite put my finger on how."
Li Nian’er’s heart stirred, and she looked at Ye Qingchen in astonishnt.
