Although Li Chunsheng had tried to stop him, Ye Qingchen had already sensed the arrival of enemies while he was still inside the Illusion Array. Li Kai looked Ye Qingchen up and down. He was, just as Li Rui had described, only at the Martial King Realm. The scorn in his eyes deepened.
Li Chunsheng hurriedly spoke to Ye Qingchen. "Junior Brother Ye, it seems these people ca specifically for you."
Ye Qingchen frowned. He hardly knew anyone, even at his own Central Celestial Academy, let alone the other three major academies. He wouldn’t have even known which schools were considered the four major academies if Zi Xing hadn’t ntioned it. So why would people from Pingtian College be targeting him?

Li Kai sneered at Ye Qingchen. "Your senior brothers and sisters are quite loyal. They weren’t willing to betray you, so I sent all of them out of the Secret Realm. However, being a generous man, I didn’t use my full strength and even left you these three senior brothers."
Pointing at Li Chunsheng and the other two, he continued, "If you kneel before now and kowtow, begging for rcy, I can spare these three senior brothers of yours. What do you say? You wouldn’t be so gutless, would you?"

Li Kai burst out laughing, pointing at Li Chunsheng. "I didn’t think much of your strength, but you certainly are loyal. Fine, then. I shall grant you your wish."
As Li Kai started walking toward Li Chunsheng, Ye Qingchen flashed forward, blocking his path.
Li Kai paused, slightly taken aback, before laughing loudly. "What? Have you decided to kowtow and admit you were wrong?"
Ye Qingchen shook his head. "I have a question I’d like to confirm. How do you know who I am, and why did you go to the trouble of seeking out?"
Li Kai shot him a glance. "Do you think you have the right to question ?" he said coldly.
Ye Qingchen sighed. "Is it because of that so-called Saint Heir?"
Li Kai was briefly surprised, then let out a hearty laugh, but he didn’t answer the question. After all, without direct authorization from the Saint Heir, he dared not reveal his na.
Ye Qingchen now had his answer. He turned to Li Chunsheng and said, "Senior Brother Li, you three just focus on your recovery. I can handle these people."
Li Chunsheng hesitated for a mont but ultimately nodded and swallowed the Spirit Pill Ye Qingchen had given him.
With that, Ye Qingchen took a step forward and asked in a frigid tone, "Will you co at alone, or will all ten of you attack at once?"
