The elder sat beside Ye Fan, looked around, but did not see the three fairy-like beauties ntioned by Madam Xu.
Soon, the girls from Wan Hua Yicui Building ca up, a dozen or so, looking pretty and refined, lacking Yun’er’s worldly airs, and none could compare in beauty to Yun’er, the top Oiran.
These girls sat down beside Ye Fan and the elder. The elder directly cozied up with two won under each arm, laughed heartily, and said, "Young brother, don’t stand on ceremony. Fine wine must be accompanied by beautiful won to fully enjoy it. Today, we drink until we drop."
Ye Fan shook his head and said, "Given our current level of cultivation, can we even get drunk by drinking?"
"Haha, well said. Co, ladies, pour wine for and this gentleman," said the elder.
"Yes." The girls not embraced by the elder quickly moved to pour wine. Only Yun’er dared to pour wine for Ye Fan after the elder had theirs poured.
The elder initially wanted to clink cups with Ye Fan, but Ye Fan picked up his glass and drank it in one go. The wine contained no poison that would dissipate his cultivation, instead it slightly helped with the spiritual energy within him, a "fortifying wine" nonetheless.
"Young man, how is my wine?" the elder asked with a smile.
Ye Fan, accustod to fine wines, had tasted all kinds on Earth, so even if it was a thousand-year-old brew, it wasn’t particularly special. He smiled and shook his head, "It’s just average."
"Average? It seems you are well-traveled, young brother. I presu you are not from the Secret Realm?" The muscles on the elder’s face tightened; now that they drank, he had to be on guard for Ye Fan to make a move at any mont.
An enemy is not a friend; drinking wine together before a fight ans they are friends, but once the drink is done, blades are drawn.

Initially, Ye Fan detested the elder as being a dirty old man for coveting so many won at such an age, truly imposing what he himself did not desire onto others.
But after hearing the elder’s words, Ye Fan felt there was nothing wrong with the elder choosing such a life. He too longed for such a serene haven, though he wouldn’t force unknown won to follow him. He just wanted to protect the won around him and live with them forever.
Ye Fan chuckled, "What you said makes a bit envious."
"Hahaha..." The elder laughed heartily, "Young man, it seems you are a man of emotions as well. I heard from Madam Xu that you have three fairy-like ladies with you, would it be possible to et them?"
Ye Fan shook his head, "Since they are hidden, how could they be easily shown to others?"
The elder nodded, clapped his hands, "Impressive, impressive, those three ladies must also possess significant cultivation. To have them accompany you, you surely have skill. I admire you."

This was not what Ye Fan expected.
He initially thought the elder ca to clash, and given that the elder had just reached the Nascent Soul Stage, he could easily defeat him. Yet, despite the elder’s lustfulness, he didn’t forcibly take won, and he was courteous, offering wine; even if Madam Xu had ill intentions towards him and Li Zhaojun, it wasn’t necessarily the elder’s doing.
Ye Fan wouldn’t turn hostile against soone who greeted him with a smile, as the elder said, it’s wiser to make more friends in this world.
But this place was not suitable for a long stay. Ye Fan stood up, "Thank you for the wine, I must take my leave."
"Leaving so soon? I have more fine wine and beautiful won here, why not stay for a few more drinks? You can freely choose from these girls," the elder offered warmly.
"Thanks for the offer, but I cannot accept. Farewell."
Under the gaze of the elder, Ye Fan walked towards the draped area. Once outside, he easily entered the veil, but the elder could not detect anything inside.
After almost half an hour, the spiritual energy within the veil gradually dissipated. The elder got up and went over, only to find the area empty; Ye Fan had left with the three won.
"Elder, why did you let that kid go?" Madam Xu entered and asked, puzzled.
"Madam Xu, be more observant in future actions. This ti, it’s not that I let him go, he spared . If he wanted to act, he could have easily killed , not to ntion there were three won inside whose abilities rival his. Do you think I ca out to commit robbery?" The elder said with a stern face.
Madam Xu nodded ekly, "Elder, your lesson is noted. Congratulations on breaking through to the Golden Core Stage and entering the Nascent Soul Stage!"
"It’s trivial now, send people to find that young brother, he spared , and I must show so gesture, send Yun’er and a few more girls to him," the elder said.
Madam Xu hesitated, "Elder, Yun’er was ant to be reserved for you..."

Ye Fan, coming out of Wan Hua Yicui Building, walked on the ever-alive street of Tiancheng.
"I originally thought of resting there for a night, now it seems I need to find another place to rest," Ye Fan sighed lightly.
Li Zhaojun said, "Why don’t we return to Earth first?"
Ye Fan shook his head, worried about Tianxuan Sect’s matters. Tianxuan Sect had joined forces with Diyuan Sect, the five major sects were in dire straits, and even though he wasn’t the chosen one, he couldn’t stand by idly. But he indeed lacked the ability to combat Tianxuan Sect and Diyuan Sect.
