Qin ngyao and Yang Xiaoting were both well-behaved, even in Ye Fan’s embrace, they didn’t make any excessive moves, allowing Ye Fan to peacefully enjoy the brief mont of warmth.
After more than two hours, when Ye Fan asked Sun Ning to take the two girls back, they were both unhappy. For a young girl who just got a boyfriend, they hoped to be with Ye Fan morning and night, but Ye Fan was busy with many affairs, and with many won around him, he couldn’t always be with them.
Finally, after coaxing them for a long ti and promising Qin ngyao and Yang Xiaoting to take them out for fun in the middle of the week, the two girls reluctantly left with Sun Ning.
Ye Fan stayed on the street, intending to et soone, Xi He, who promised to help him cultivate before.
He didn’t expect Xi He would really help him cultivate, but he wanted to rescue Shen Yan from Xi He’s hands. Even if he and Shen Yan were just friends, he didn’t want to see her get into trouble.
This ti, Xi He seed to have gotten smarter. She knew she had little knowledge of Earth’s civilization, which allowed Ye Fan to find a flaw in her illusion. Hence, Xi He now appeared more like an Earthling.
In her thirties, looking like a noblewoman, dressed fashionably, she t Ye Fan in a restaurant. Ye Fan wasn’t in a suit and tie, which made him look like a fledgling young man, appearing inferior in front of Xi He.
"Here is the nu for you two!" said a waiter approaching them.
Ye Fan waved his hand, saying, "We’ll just have a chat and leave!"
The waiter walked away, and Xi He studied Ye Fan, smiling as she said, "I never thought there was anything different about you from those in the secret realm, and now I’ve found you’re very adapted to life here on Earth."
"Of course, from the mont I was born, I’ve been living on Earth. If it weren’t for my wife, I wouldn’t have ventured into the secret realm!"
After Ye Fan said this, he suddenly sensed a ripple in the air around them, which wasn’t from Sang Yuan but seed as though another high-level cultivator was lurking nearby.
Xi He didn’t seem to notice and said, "Last ti, you found a flaw in my illusion, which I never expected. Perhaps it’s because I know too little about Earth. If you don’t mind, you could show around different places on Earth, let experience how it differs from the secret realm!"
"Is it necessary?" Ye Fan squinted and asked.
"You can refuse, but don’t forget, your little lover is still in my hands. If you don’t accompany , I might kill her. In my eyes, you all seem like ants; I can crush whoever I want!" Xi He said casually, as if playing god was just another fun thing.
Ye Fan was silent for a mont. He didn’t want to be threatened, but accompanying Xi He for a tour on Earth didn’t seem like a big deal, so he nodded in agreent. Ye Fan asked, "Where to?"
"Anywhere is fine. Whenever I used to co to Earth, I couldn’t adapt to the life here. We might as well start from this restaurant," Xi He said, calling the waiter over to bring the nu, and she began to order.
Ye Fan watched Xi He, trying to figure out her intentions.
...
...
After the al, Xi He and Ye Fan walked out of the restaurant, arm in arm, like a couple.
Xi He didn’t seem to reject essential social etiquette; this was also Ye Fan’s first "close contact" with Xi He. Xi He had learned the attitude of an earthly woman toward her partner, but she learned it too seriously, appearing overly formal.
Ye Fan didn’t avoid her. As they walked out of the restaurant, many people looked their way.
In the eyes of so, Xi He was very charming, an absolute beauty, but there was a maturity about her that felt out of reach. So might even think she seed "much older," while Ye Fan appeared sunny and handso. Even if he wasn’t very good-looking, he at least had the traits of youth, which made others feel that Ye Fan was a "toyboy."
"Why are they looking at us like that?" Xi He asked, smiling.
Ye Fan said, "Didn’t you say you can see through people’s hearts? Why don’t you find out yourself?"
Xi He laughed coldly. Obviously, she had lied to Ye Fan about seeing through hearts in the past illusion. Perhaps she could sense basic emotions, but not the complex changes of feeling, so she couldn’t understand the curious glances from others.
Actually, when they went shopping together, Ye Fan was the one being "looked down upon" because he beca what others thought of as a "toyboy," but he didn’t care. He had long seen through these things; a strong inner self was the foundation of his invincibility.
"Co shopping with ," Xi He said. "Don’t the girls on Earth love shopping, buying clothes or costics?"
Ye Fan laughed, "Do you need them, Senior?"
"Needing them is one thing. Although I’m perfect, I still want to be more perfect, which might be a woman’s nature," Xi He insisted, dragging Ye Fan to a won’s clothing store.
Xi He didn’t enter the store to select clothes; she didn’t even look at the styles or try anything on. Whatever she pointed at, she bought. Finally, Ye Fan realized Xi He wasn’t really shopping but enjoying the feeling of having an earthly woman’s entourage. Initially, they walked arm in arm, but eventually, he beca a follower trailing behind.
"Senior, do you like all these clothes?" Ye Fan finally couldn’t help but ask.
"I’ll know if I like them when I try them at ho, or I could try them here, but you know what will happen then!" Xi He said.
Ye Fan knew that Xi He’s way of changing clothes wasn’t like normal people. She could use spiritual power to decompose and reassemble the clothes. Such a terrifying woman could even destroy Earth within monts, so trying clothes on wasn’t practical for her.
Ye Fan didn’t say anything further. After all, accompanying a domineering woman shopping wasn’t his first ti, but it was never this frustrating.
After visiting two malls, Xi He said smilingly, "I’ve bought almost everything; we can find a place to rest now."
"Where to rest?" Ye Fan asked.
"Humans usually find a hotel to rest, don’t they?" Xi He asked seriously.
Ye Fan shook his head and said, "There are many places in a mall to rest. Why go to a hotel? A hotel is for lodging. If you don’t have a place to stay, Senior, I can prepare a residence for you to temporarily call ho!"
"Ho?" Xi He repeated the word, her expression suddenly turning a bit forlorn as if rembering sothing. After a long ti, she said, "I don’t have a ho, nor do I want one. For an ancient cultivator, ho is superfluous. Only you ordinary humans care about such things!"
