Ye Fan assessed the female officer, perhaps because he was once in law enforcent, he always had a good impression of female officers. This officer was competent and charming, with a great figure, more appealing than the female believers under Sang Yuan.

“Alright, but please Vice Mayor Tantai and Mr. Ye, leave your identification and communication tools behind, for your safety!” the female officer said.
“Wasn’t this supposed to be a routine inquiry, why are we being treated like suspects? You’re not suggesting we committed the cri, are you?” Tantai Wanrong asked angrily.
The female officer replied, “Please calm down, Vice Mayor Tantai. Whether the case is related to you requires investigation to determine. But until then, both of you are individuals we need to protect. Soone, co assist these two!”
The female officer seed respectful to Tantai Wanrong, but deep down, she harbored arrogance. Given they were about the sa age, she felt ‘she was no better,’ and showed disdain for Tantai Wanrong, even more for Ye Fan, thinking he was involved in the explosion case. “What are you trying to do?” Tantai Wanrong saw female and male officers approaching, seemingly to search her and seize her phone and other items.
