Tantai Wanrong always felt a bit uneasy in front of Qin ngyao, as she was concerned about the relationship between Qin ngyao, herself, and Ye Fan.

Qin ngyao realized she had said too much and stopped talking. At that mont, Tantai Wanrong didn’t know what to say to smooth things over, creating an awkward situation, which was finally broken by Ye Fan saying, “Yaoyao, you and Xiaoxiao go play in the room first. I’ll have a word with your aunt.”
“Got it, Brother Fan. Just talk nicely with Auntie. She really likes you too…hehe!”
After Qin ngyao finished speaking, she took Yang Xiaoting’s hand and went inside, leaving Ye Fan and Tantai Wanrong outside, sitting almost in silence. After a long pause, Ye Fan said, “Aunt Rong, if you want to scold , go ahead!”
“Why should I scold you? You’re going to marry Zhao Jun. In your heart, I can’t be your wife. At most, I’m just a woman on the side without sha. If you want to belittle further, go ahead and say it!”
Tantai Wanrong’s emotions were a bit riled up, “And don’t try to explain anything to . What do you an by bringing Yaoyao back? Does telling her about our relationship benefit you sohow? It will only make you lose . I hadn’t figured out what our relationship should be, but now I’m telling you, it’s over between us. I can’t accept you, just like I can’t accept things I don’t like. I gave you a chance once, but you lost it. Don’t think I’ll ever be your woman on the side!”
Ye Fan noticed that Tantai Wanrong was visibly agitated, almost to the point of losing control. He knew that bringing Qin ngyao back had hurt her.
“Aunt Rong, whatever you want to say, let’s discuss it later. Yaoyao and Xiaoxiao are here with us. I don’t want them to leave disappointed. Yaoyao cares about you the most!” Ye Fan said with a hint of disappointnt.
“Seeing as you know Yaoyao cares about , and that she’s concerned about your feelings, you still made everything so clear. Do you want her to be in pain forever?” Tantai Wanrong demanded, almost hysterically.
Ye Fan didn’t want to explain too much to Tantai Wanrong. Although she misunderstood and thought he had revealed everything, which he hadn’t, he did use Qin ngyao to try and talk so sense into Tantai Wanrong. Accepting her accusation was sothing he could do with ease.
Ye Fan felt there was now a clear division between himself and Tantai Wanrong, he sighed, “Since Yaoyao is with , I’ll take good care of her. Aunt Rong, you don’t need to worry. If she gets hurt, you can co and bla .”
“Are you saying Yaoyao hasn’t been hurt? Ye Fan, I never thought you were this kind of person. You’re just trying to satisfy your desire to conquer? Yaoyao wasn’t a very obedient girl before, but she was well-mannered and had a promising future. I’ll admit you helped her correct her ways, but that’s not a reason to trample on her values and love. It seems I need to reconsider your relationship with Yaoyao!”
Tantai Wanrong suddenly seed to have turned her back and treated Ye Fan with cold indifference, choosing to not accept him despite previous considerations.
Ye Fan knew this was his mistake, so he refrained from explaining further.
Though Qin ngyao followed Ye Fan’s instruction to go into the room with Yang Xiaoting, she was still curious about what was happening outside. When she peeked out, she saw Ye Fan and Tantai Wanrong sitting together looking like they were having a standoff.
“Brother Fan, Auntie, can I co out?” Qin ngyao asked.
“Co out,” Ye Fan said.
“Okay, Brother Fan.” Qin ngyao was overjoyed at the mont. She never really thought about what it would be like to compete with her aunt for a man. She just felt happy being with both Ye Fan and Tantai Wanrong.
Tantai Wanrong’s expression was sowhat cold, “Yaoyao, now you choose: today will you stay with Auntie, or go with Brother Fan?”
“Huh? Auntie, can’t I be with both of you?” Qin ngyao glanced back at Yang Xiaoting. Obviously, she was thrilled that her three favorite people were all here, and she didn’t want to be separated from any of them.
Tantai Wanrong said, “A girl should have a sense of restraint, no? Auntie is going on a trip in a few days and won’t be back for months or maybe a year, so would you stay with today?”
“What about Brother Fan?” Qin ngyao said, feeling wronged.
“He has other things to do. If you want to go with him, go ahead. I won’t stop you!” Tantai Wanrong replied.
Ye Fan felt that this situation was a bit hard on Qin ngyao, as she suddenly seed to be choosing between family and love, and her mood shifted unpleasantly. She looked at Ye Fan and Tantai Wanrong, seemingly unable to choose.
Ye Fan said, “Yaoyao, since your aunt is heading out, stay with her for a day. I have so things to tend to and won’t accompany you and Xiaoxiao much longer!”
“Brother Fan, don’t leave. You and Auntie haven’t even answered my question!” Qin ngyao was anxious. She just tried to bridge Ye Fan and Tantai Wanrong, and with what she said, they seed to turn against each other, making her uneasy.
Ye Fan gently touched her cheek, smiling, “Don’t worry. I’ll see you this afternoon. It’s better for you to chat with your aunt more, she’s the only family she has!”
“Alright.” Qin ngyao responded, lowering her head with a sense of sadness and loneliness, glancing at Yang Xiaoting, trying to infer if she would accompany Ye Fan. Yang Xiaoting, too, seed concerned.
“We’ll et in the afternoon. Be happy and spend ti with your aunt.” Ye Fan said, then stood up, casually bidding farewell to Tantai Wanrong before leaving her ho.
Leaving the familiar place, Ye Fan suddenly felt as if a lifeti had passed, akin to the feeling of losing Shen Yan before.
In truth, Tantai Wanrong did have so misunderstandings about him, but he didn’t explain them extensively to her. He thought, if she couldn’t accept him due to minor misunderstandings now, clearing them would still leave them prone to future grievances over trivial matters.
“Perhaps I gave Aunt Rong too little ti; I should have given her a few months, or even years, to think it over. For staying together long-term, one shouldn’t bargain over temporary gains or losses,” Ye Fan murmured.
