Soon, several won dressed in black escorted four girls inside. These girls had their eyes blindfolded and their mouths taped shut. Even though Ye Fan couldn’t see their faces, he could recognize that these four girls were the ones who had mocked him upstairs as a weirdo.
The four girls were brought to the throne and forced to kneel on the ground, their faces displaying genuine fear.
"What did I tell you? Repeat it yourselves!" Lin Jie gestured for the tape covering the girls’ mouths to be removed. Instead of screaming for help, the first words they uttered were cries for rcy.
Beside them stood several individuals dressed in black, their faces veiled. It was like a courtroom with Lin Jie as the presiding queen. Her voice radiated authority: "Now is not the ti for pleading. Repeat what I’ve told you, or face the harshest punishnt!"
One girl spoke up, "Sister, we don’t know what mistake we’ve made. We followed all the rules today and didn’t show any disrespect to you!"
Lin Jie replied, "It’s not you offended but the guest here. You must understand, everyone here is equal. If you hold notions of fa and wealth, you’ll develop corrupt thoughts that categorize people by status. But you are just ordinary won. Now, tell —who did you offend?"
"We didn’t offend anyone!" The girl insisted, "Please, Sister, judge with insight!"
Lin Jie continued, "So you’re saying I’ve given you a chance, yet you refuse to accept it, waiting for to administer my own punishnt?"
"Sister, rcy! We... truly haven’t wronged anyone!" The girls began to plead, seemingly unwilling to admit without proof.
Lin Jie waved her hand, and the black-clad won removed the girls’ blindfolds. Upon seeing Ye Fan—the man they had ridiculed—their deanor changed, confirming Lin Jie’s assertion that they had indeed shown disrespect towards him, leading them to face grave consequences.
"Still don’t rember?" Lin Jie asked.
"Sister, rcy!" The four girls promptly knelt down without further argunt, beginning to kowtow.
Lin Jie shook her head, "Too late. I gave you a chance, but you refused to follow my orders. If I cannot discipline you, how can I manage so many sisters? Bring forth the punishnt!"
Upon command, several black-clad individuals approached again, each holding a small bag as if to cover the girls’ heads, ready to execute a private punishnt, perhaps even death.
"Hold on!" Ye Fan interjected, "What are you doing?"
"They’ve erred and must learn a lesson, or what else?" Lin Jie scrutinized Ye Fan, "You are not one of us here. This matter does not concern you, so pretend you haven’t seen anything, or else..."
"Or else you plan to kill too, and act as if it solves everything, right?" Ye Fan retorted.
Zhao Tianya quickly intervened, "Ye Fan, don’t disrupt Lin Jie’s business. This is her own affair, and you needn’t worry about it!"
Zhao Tianya had no concern about Ye Fan’s safety because she knew with Ye Fan’s current power at the Transcendance Tribulation Stage, he could cause an upheaval not just in this basent but on Earth itself.
So she didn’t bother explaining anything to Lin Jie, only urged Ye Fan to calm down.
"I won’t kill them. They’ve rely misspoken, and killing them would be overly cruel, wouldn’t it?" Lin Jie stated.
"Then what are you going to do with them?" Ye Fan inquired.
"I’m going to erase their mories, not all, just those from the past few months. Then they can return to being ordinary people. Isn’t a simple life a good outco?" Lin Jie questioned.
"Sister, no!" One of the girls had already started crying uncontrollably, "Sister, please don’t turn us back into ordinary people. Whatever orders you have in the future, we will follow!"
Lin Jie asked, "Are you all admitting your mistakes?"
"We admit it!" The four girls quickly lowered their heads.
This made Ye Fan perceive Lin Jie as emotionally unpredictable. Just monts ago, she called for punishnt but now seed to forgive their errors.
