When "Tantai Wanrong" heard Ye Fan’s words, her heart was filled with fear and anger. She feared Ye Fan’s high cultivation and there might indeed be so thod that would cause her soul to suffer greatly. She was angry that she had clearly taken control of the woman Ye Fan loved, yet couldn’t threaten Ye Fan, being thoroughly controlled by him.

In the past, Ye Fan indeed lacked the ability to affect a person’s soul through the body, even with the Tongling Mirror.
But now things were different; Ye Fan possessed elental power. The strength of six small crystals could augnt many aspects of his cultivation, including complenting the function of the Tongling Mirror. It was because he had the Tongling Mirror that he could communicate with the six small crystals and claim their strength.
Ye Fan wanted to use a purgatory thod to tornt the soul occupying Tantai Wanrong’s body. He wasn’t using the small purple crystal that represented fire, but instead, he planned to use the illusionary crystal, the small red crystal, and the small black crystal.
One of the small black crystal’s abilities was to capture all the dead spirits in the world. The small red crystal could create illusions.
Ye Fan first wanted to produce an illusion, causing "Tantai Wanrong" to experience a kind of hallucination, making her believe she was being tornted by purgatorial fire crafted by Ye Fan. Subsequently, the soul connection between her and Tantai Wanrong would break, allowing Ye Fan to use the small black crystal to separate this person’s soul from Tantai Wanrong’s body and achieve complete control over Tantai Wanrong.

Ye Fan extended his right hand, and the small red crystal and small black crystal appeared beside him in Soul Body form. Ye Fan began using the power of the small red crystal to create illusions around them.
At the beginning of the illusion, everything only existed in the scenes seen by "Tantai Wanrong" and also the sensations felt by her soul. But as ti passed, she began to sense a certain soul power torturing her, feeling the surrounding environnt starting to distort.
This was the initial thod Ye Fan used to subject the soul occupying Tantai Wanrong’s body to the tornts of the illusion, making it believe it was genuinely suffering in it. Gradually, the link between it and Tantai Wanrong’s body developed flaws, allowing the small black crystal to seize the opportunity.

Ye Fan intensified his attack on the woman, just as she imagined. Ye Fan’s attack indeed resulted in scorch marks on Tantai Wanrong’s body, as if Tantai Wanrong’s body was gradually being consud by fire.
She didn’t know that this was rely an illusion created by Ye Fan using the small red crystal. At this mont, the small red crystal possessed a peculiar power, similar to the power once held by the Earth Cave Guardian. That power could even destroy the bodies of very powerful demons, let alone the unknown woman before her.
"You won’t succeed, I’d rather perish alongside her!" said the woman with apparent determined will, intending to end together with Tantai Wanrong’s body.
Yet she didn’t know that in the real world, she encountered no actual attack. It was only in her illusionary consciousness that she believed she and Tantai Wanrong’s body were being tornted by Ye Fan.
As ti went on, the woman could no longer withstand Ye Fan’s tornt. Despite her verbal toughness, there remained an inherent survival instinct, even though she might rely be a Soul Body.
"Small black crystal, it’s up to you!" Ye Fan conveyed his order to the small black crystal through the Tongling Mirror. The small black crystal eagerly moved forward, intending to completely absorb the soul intermittently linked to Tantai Wanrong’s body, but found it difficult. In her perspective, that soul was sotis a Soul Body and sotis a living being, making it hard to grasp.
"Master, I can’t absorb her!" said the small black crystal with so anxiety.
She seldom helped Ye Fan, and when she encountered difficulty, a natural sense of timidity arose because she too had a youthful disposition.
Ye Fan said: "Don’t doubt your abilities. Find the right opportunity, and act when you think you can. This is your most crucial mont before becoming a human. If you succeed, you’ll have the capacities of a human girl!"
Ye Fan encouraged the small black crystal with promises of transformation, making her aware of her actions. Though the small black crystal hadn’t fully grasped her capabilities, she knew her dream was to beco human. With Ye Fan’s assurance that completing this task would soon allow her to transform into a human on the day of his wedding with Li Zhaojun, her confidence grew slightly.
She thought: "If Zi Ying can do it, so can I. Who says only she qualifies to beco human? I also have... but, uh, it’s so difficult!"
Though it was challenging, the soul body before her still fluctuated intermittently. At this mont, she had to seize the briefest opportunity to extract the soul body from Tantai Wanrong, not knowing her success probability, even feeling failure might be high due to lack of self-confidence.
