Capítulo 1613: Chapter 1609: Shattering Illusions

As Ye Fan attacked Xi He’s spiritual power with elental forces, Xi He could no longer maintain the connection with the illusion, aiming to shatter the external ecosystem within the illusion.

At this mont, Xi He could no longer sustain the thought processes of all the characters in the illusion. If Ye Fan broke the illusion, those thought processes would continue as before, just like when Ye Fan disrupted the balance in the illusion containing Yang Xiaoting and Qin ngyao, and those born from the illusion continued their lives without sensing any cataclysm.

While attacking Xi He, Ye Fan used spiritual power to search for the next illusion, directly leading Xuan Nu and Xi He into it, while temporarily imprisoning Nuwa in the Death Sea using elental power.

Upon entering the illusion, Ye Fan noticed that it bore so resemblance to previous illusions he had encountered, reflecting an earthly environnt; not an apocalypse, but rather the city streets of Hua Hai.

“Ye Fan, could it be one of your won trapped in here?” Xuan Nu, upon seeing the illusion, didn’t want to search further as she believed only the won around Ye Fan would be imprisoned by Xi He in such illusions.

Ye Fan replied, “Are you sure it’s not Lan Jing in the illusion?”

“My daughter loves a simple life; she wouldn’t live in a human city. Xi He knows this, so how could she be imprisoned with such an illusion?” Xuan Nu spoke with a certain arrogance, suggesting her daughter was more extraordinary than others.

Ye Fan said no more, using spiritual power to sense the illusion ahead, and found no core or void essence of the illusion. For now, he couldn’t determine who was imprisoned in it.

Xi He, with her eyes shut, remained silent, unwilling to communicate with Ye Fan. Under Ye Fan’s spiritual attack, her emotions were on the verge of collapse.

“Ye Fan, let’s go find my daughter first. You can search the remaining illusions one by one; I don’t want my daughter to be in any more danger!” Xuan Nu didn’t wish to linger in the illusions any longer.

Ye Fan shook his head, “Regardless of who it is, I won’t prioritize anyone; what you say doesn’t matter!”

“You!” Xuan Nu was upset with Ye Fan, but realizing that tough thods were useless against him, she said, “Ye Fan, if you help find my daughter, I’ll give you a reward, sothing you’ve dread about—you must be accountable for my daughter!”

Ye Fan responded, “I am responsible for everyone imprisoned by Xi He because of Zhao Jun. Your daughter is one of them, and I won’t stand by after seeing her, but neither will I leave an illusion hastily once I enter it!”

With that, Ye Fan began hovering over Hua Hai City with Xi He. Unable to identify who was trapped there, he could only use his spiritual power to search for clues.

Looking down from above Hua Hai City, everything seed normal. Ye Fan’s spiritual power was powerful enough to explore the movents of the fauna, the tides, and even the changes of polar ice, but because the world appeared real to him, he couldn’t detect any forces disguised around him.

“Let’s go!”

Suddenly, Ye Fan landed on a street in the city center of Hua Hai. Since he didn’t manifest his physical form, those around didn’t notice his presence.

Xuan Nu suggested, “Use the previous thod to destroy the entire illusion and find out who’s problematic; then you’ll know, right?”

Ye Fan shook his head, “I suspect that Xi He might have thought of that too. While I rested earlier, her spiritual power recovered, and she must have reinforced the previous illusions. Look!”

Speaking, Ye Fan used his elental power, forming a great thunderclap — a dry lightning in the air. When it streaked across the sky, the people within the illusion all looked up, eliciting fearful reactions, proving Ye Fan’s suspicion that Xi He had altered so rules in the illusion, allowing ordinary people to react to such threats.

This made finding the trapped person within the illusion very challenging for Ye Fan.

“Ye Fan, do you realize how terrifying you are? Now that you can uncover Xi He’s plot, you’re even more dangerous than her. Luckily, you’re on the right path!” Xuan Nu stated suddenly, “If you ever create such illusions, I might never get out, and everyone would be at your rcy!”

Ye Fan ignored Xuan Nu; he focused on another logical inconsistency in the illusions.

Even though people in illusions could respond to sudden events based on a certain logic, it didn’t an they could react to everything.

Ye Fan realized Xi He’s reactions stemd from sensory experiences and changes in elental powers, to which ordinary Earthlings wouldn’t normally react.

Thinking this, Ye Fan began to stir the spiritual energy within the illusion world using his elental power. The changes in spiritual energy caused a great reaction from the people in the illusion, exceeding normal human understanding.

“What’s happening?” Xuan Nu asked.

“Xi He’s overthinking; she’s making logical errors that I can exploit! How could ordinary people on earth react to spiritual energy?” Ye Fan said as he observed the reactions of everyone on earth, his mind scanning through billions like a complex computation to find the error.

Even with Xi He’s intellect, she couldn’t create unique reaction chanisms for billions of individuals. Essentially, people followed set reactions, forming a few hundred types collectively, making it possible to pinpoint the one her illusion crafted.

Within the illusion, only one individual’s reactions stood out from the rest, marking them as the one imprisoned.

Eventually, Ye Fan discovered that the one exhibiting different reactions wasn’t in Hua Hai but at the North Pole, within Xi He’s underground relics.

“Not here!” Ye Fan stated, “At the North Pole, there’s a figure, seemingly Lan Jing!”

“What are you saying? This illusion… is my daughter inside?” Xuan Nu was shocked. Initially certain Lan Jing wasn’t there and insisting on leaving, now Ye Fan told her it was actually Lan Jing imprisoned here.
