Ye Fan wanted to go back and teach the Mysterious Woman a lesson, but he discovered that the so-called edge of the universe hid so auras, which contained powers that were elusive to him, condensing within.
He wanted to investigate what this power truly was, but unfortunately, this power was extrely subtle, seemingly several million light-years away, within a universe space of very thin forces. Finding the source of this power was extrely difficult, so he could only gradually approach it and explore further.
"Why is this power so strange, different from all known powers I’ve encountered? Could it be the mysterious force that previously attacked those around ?" Ye Fan wondered with a hint of curiosity.
Unable to determine the source of this power, he had to dissipate it invisibly to prevent it from affecting the safety of himself and those around him.

Ye Fan prepared to move closer, but sensed there seed to be a lifeform in between, which he suspected to be Lan Jing.
Why Lan Jing was there, he couldn’t fully investigate, but he guessed that the Mysterious Woman had sent Lan Jing. To thwart the Mysterious Woman’s plans, Ye Fan had to start with Lan Jing and couldn’t allow the ritual before him to proceed.
"Stop!" Ye Fan’s voice pierced through the vast universe, reaching afar. Although there was no dium for sonic transmission in the air, Ye Fan used Spiritual Energy to transmit his voice, ensuring Lan Jing could hear him.
There was a ripple in the distance, indicating the person far away had heard his voice, though the ritual in that person’s hands was not finished, instead intensifying.
Ye Fan didn’t know what Lan Jing had beco, but he knew she might have been beguiled by the Mysterious Woman, unable to heed any of his commands. Their previous friendship might have vanished.
To stop the Mysterious Woman’s plan, Ye Fan could only adopt so hard tactics, using force to prevent Lan Jing from continuing the ritual in her hands.
"Whoosh!" It sounded like wind but was actually an explosion of Ye Fan’s elental power. At this mont, Ye Fan’s cultivation had entirely surpassed that of ordinary ancient cultivators; even the Mysterious Woman and Xi He were no longer his match, let alone a Lan Jing who had not yet reached ascension level.

Lan Jing, a girl who could see through others’ hearts, couldn’t read her mother’s heart, especially the deceptive intentions of the Mysterious Woman towards her.
Ye Fan said, "I’ve been searching for you for a long ti. I didn’t expect to find you here. It was the Nine Heavens Mysterious Woman who brought you here, wasn’t it?"
Even though Ye Fan knew the girl before him was being used by others, he had no intention of anger because he knew Lan Jing’s heart was pure. He had never seen a girl with such sincerity; love is love, hate is hate, never mixed with any impurities.
"She brought here. I don’t know where this place is. After coming here, she asked to do sothing she said would benefit all humanity and avenge you. Lan Jing spoke without any guilt, and Ye Fan could sense an innocent force from her sincere eyes, unwilling to doubt Lan Jing.
Ye Fan asked, "Do you know how long you’ve been here?"
Lan Jing thought for a while before shaking her head. She had no deep concept of ti; she only knew she was doing sothing, unclear if it succeeded. She was soone who followed her heart when acting.
She would help whoever she wanted, doing as she wished, not doing if unwilling. She was a free-spirited girl.
Ye Fan said, "You don’t need to do these things anymore. Co with , and I’ll take you back to Earth, back to your previous life, alright?"
"Hmm?" Lan Jing seed still curious and asked, "Ye Fan, is everything really alright? Because I felt the Mysterious Woman didn’t deceive . She said you were in trouble. Now seeing you, there seems to be no big trouble. Could you have solved it? Tell , okay?" Lan Jing seed eager for Ye Fan to be honest with her.
Ye Fan said, "Lan Jing, in fact, that person is using you. She wants to use a power you possess to help her complete sothing. She sounds sincere because she believes all she does is right; she’s very dangerous. I don’t know how to describe her, perhaps I shouldn’t defa her before you due to your significant connection with her, but I have to tell you, you can’t let her exploit you. If you co back to Earth with , I’ll explain all of this to you in detail. Before that, you must wholeheartedly trust . Only this way can we return to Earth and resu our original life!"
