After he closed the trunk lid and fully turned around, he saw Zeng Jingwei being pulled aside by her three classmates, talking and occasionally glancing at him and his car.
Ye Fan didn’t bother to listen; he only saw Zeng Jingwei smiling and shaking her head.
Girls whispering and saying goodbye was their business, and it wasn’t appropriate for Ye Fan, a man, to listen in, so he intentionally stayed a few ters away.
About ten minutes later, Zeng Jingwei finished talking with her classmates and ca over.
“Fan ge, let’s go.”
Ye Fan nodded and got into the car.

She was a university student at the nationally ranked Hua Hai University.
If she had continued her studies, she would have had a promising life after graduation, even without pursuing further education.
But she had chosen the path of music, and even though she was going to attend one of the top music colleges in the country, her future was still uncertain.
Around ten-thirty, Ye Fan successfully dropped Zeng Jingwei off at the Huahai Music College, helped her pay the tuition fee, and found her dormitory.
“I should have joined you for lunch, but I have so things to take care of later.
We’ll get together another day,” Ye Fan said.
He had already postponed his appointnt with Zhou Zhiqian by an hour via phone call.
Zeng Jingwei’s eyes montarily showed a hint of disappointnt, but then she smiled and said, “Hehe, it’s okay.

Ye Fan nodded apologetically and then drove away.
