Ye Fan nodded and said, “This spot is nice.

As the door opened, Ye Fan was about to raise his hand to wave goodbye to Lu Xiaoman when, unexpectedly, a bout of hearty laughter erupted from inside the apartnt.

Besides, there were sounds of a television, and bright light poured out from inside.

Lu Xiaoman’s face turned pale; she said to Ye Fan anxiously, “Ye Fan, listen to , this is a misunderstanding!
I had no idea he would suddenly visit and stay until now.”
After speaking to Ye Fan, Lu Xiaoman imdiately turned and sharply said to the handso young man, “Feng Junjie, how co you’re still here at my place at this hour?”
Feng Junjie, the handso young man, also appeared slightly startled but quickly replied in a warm tone with a smile, “Manman, your aunt and uncle are waiting for you; let’s go inside.”
Quickly after, he addressed Ye Fan, “My friend, thank you for bringing Manman safely to her doorstep so late at night.

I’ll take you inside right now to clear things up!”
With that, she pulled Ye Fan forcefully toward the inside of the house.
Standing in the doorway, Feng Junjie’s face turned ugly; he stretched his hand out to block the entrance and said, “Manman, it’s the middle of the night, how can you bring a strange man into the house?
Uncle Lu and Aunt Gui would be upset!”
“Get out of the way!” Lu Xiaoman exclaid fiercely, “Feng Junjie, if you continue to say such misleading things, don’t bla for turning ruthless!”
“Manman, you…” Feng Junjie seed to feel greatly wronged.
At this mont, the people in the living room clearly heard the argunt at the front door, and as they walked towards the entrance, they called out, “Manman, Ajie, what are you arguing about?”
Soon, everyone from the living room had made their way to the entrance.
Ye Fan looked over and indeed saw four more people inside.
Besides Lu Xiaoman’s adoptive parents, there were also two middle-aged individuals, about fifty years old, a man and a woman, seemingly a married couple.

Upon seeing Lu Xiaoman’s adoptive parents co out, Feng Junjie imdiately turned and hurriedly called to them, “Uncle Lu, Aunt Gui, Manman and I aren’t fighting anymore, it was just a small misunderstanding.”

However, they didn’t recognize Ye Fan at first.
After all, their last eting had been brief and at night, and several months had passed since then.
Lu Xiaoman quickly said to her adoptive parents, “Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend Ye Fan, whom you’ve t before.”

“I had only planned to walk Xiaoman to her doorstep; I didn’t intend to disturb you.

Lu Xiaoman’s mother looked at Ye Fan for a mont, rembered him, and recalled that he had once driven Xiaoman ho in a sowhat old and lower-end car.

Let’s all go into the living room to talk.”

The faces of Feng Junjie’s parents had not looked too pleased, but at this mont they smiled and followed back into the living room.

“Shall we go in?” Lu Xiaoman looked up at Ye Fan and said, as she tightly clutched his hand, afraid that he might walk away in a huff.
Ye Fan nodded slightly and followed Lu Xiaoman into her ho.
Seeing that Ye Fan was willing to enter her ho to listen to her explanation, Lu Xiaoman let out a small sigh of relief.
Upon entering the living room, Ye Fan’s gaze swept across, noticing that it was quite spacious with moderately upscale decor, which looked clean and fresh since it was new.
Sitting down on the sofas around the short table, Lu Xiaoman’s adoptive parents sat on the middle one, Ye Fan and Lu Xiaoman chose the one on the left, and Feng Junjie’s family seated themselves opposite on the right.
As soon as they were seated, Lu Xiaoman said to Feng Junjie’s parents, “Uncle Feng, Aunt Feng, I’m really sorry.
My parents forgot about the ti and kept you chatting until past midnight, which must have severely disturbed your rest.
Since your ho is far from here, even if you drive back soon, you won’t get ho until around one or two in the morning.
