508: Chapter 504: Sleeping Beauty 508: Chapter 504: Sleeping Beauty Ye Fan walked around the room, to the living room, then turned on the light, poured himself a glass of water, and sat down on the sofa to leisurely sip it.
Drinking water was just an excuse, he had to wait for Tantai Wanrong and Zhao Tianya to finish their chat and co out.
Since other people were asleep, it was not possible to turn on the television at this ti.
However, he had not been sitting for long when a bedroom door opened.
Ye Fan couldn’t help but turn his head to see Li Zhaojun walking out of that room.
Li Zhaojun, upon seeing Ye Fan, paused slightly, then gracefully walked over and sat down next to, almost against, Ye Fan.
“Can’t sleep?” Li Zhaojun asked in a conversational tone.
Ye Fan shook his head slightly, “No.
Aunt Rong and Aunt Ya are chatting in my room.
I can’t get a word in edgewise, so I ca out here to sit for a bit.”
“Oh,” Li Zhaojun simply responded, without saying much.
Ye Fan asked in return, “What about you?”
“I’m a bit restless,” Li Zhaojun said, “I haven’t had this much fun in a long ti, so I’m still feeling a bit excited.”
Following that, the two of them started chatting casually.
Having the experience of talking while lying in bed before, both were quite skilled at casual conversation, so they were able to keep talking without worrying about running out of topics and experiencing awkward silences.
At first, both sat upright while chatting, but after a while, they reclined deeply into the couch, backs comfortably resting against the back of the sofa.
Regardless of why Tantai Wanrong and Zhao Tianya were taking so long to co out, Ye Fan and Li Zhaojun had been chatting for a good half hour.
Moreover, Li Zhaojun’s voice got softer and softer until, finally, her head tilted and she leaned on his shoulder, falling asleep directly.

Ye Fan decided to wait before waking Li Zhaojun and then reached for a cushion, gently placing it on her stomach.

Another half hour passed, and Tantai Wanrong and Zhao Tianya still hadn’t co out.
Ye Fan guessed that they had probably talked themselves to sleep in bed.
Turning his head to look at Li Zhaojun again, he saw she was deeply asleep, her usually cold and aloof face now serene and incredibly beautiful, just like a sleeping Snow White.
“If only she were like this all the ti,” Ye Fan suddenly couldn’t help thinking, then shook his head self-deprecatingly, “Don’t be silly.
A person’s nature is hard to change.”
After three minutes of idle thoughts, Ye Fan carefully shifted and cradled the sleeping Li Zhaojun in his arms.
Although he could let Li Zhaojun continue sleeping against his shoulder until dawn, it might not be bearable for her.
Not to ntion the risk of catching cold, just the awkward sleeping position alone could leave her with a sore back and aching muscles the next day.
Li Zhaojun’s body was soft and lightweight; even when cradled in his arms, he found it comfortable.
He carried Li Zhaojun to her room, gently placed her on the bed, and then covered her with a blanket.
After completing these tasks, Ye Fan intended to leave, but his gaze unintentionally swept over Li Zhaojun, asleep and beautiful on the bed, and unexplainably, a kind of “Magic Power” kept him from looking away, fixating him in place as he watched her.
Lost in thought for a good fifteen minutes, Ye Fan snapped back to reality, a bitter smile surfacing on his face as he shook his head and walked out of Li Zhaojun’s room.
Having left Li Zhaojun’s room, Ye Fan went straight back to his own, only to find that Tantai Wanrong and Zhao Tianya had already fallen asleep on the bed.
As he approached the bed, he saw Tantai Wanrong lying flat on her back in an elegant posture, while Zhao Tianya was curled up around Tantai Wanrong like an octopus.
Both Tantai Wanrong and Zhao Tianya seed to be sleeping deeply and soundly, probably exhausted from the day’s fun.
With the bed taken by Tantai Wanrong and Zhao Tianya, Ye Fan obviously couldn’t climb in to join them.
He walked out of his room and glanced at Zhao Tianya’s door, shaking his head.
Even though Zhao Tianya and Tantai Wanrong were sleeping in his room, he couldn’t just go sleep in Zhao Tianya’s bed, or else it would lead to a big misunderstanding the next morning.
No, that would make Li Zhaojun and Tantai Wanrong suspect his real relationship with Zhao Tianya.
Therefore, Ye Fan settled for sleeping on the couch in the living room.
The next day, Li Zhaojun woke from her slumber, stretching lazily.
She had slept very comfortably.

Leaving her room, she found everyone was already up, chatting on the couch in the living room.
Her gaze unintentionally swept over Ye Fan, but he didn’t notice her, leaving her slightly disappointed.
“Sorry, I slept in,” she said to Tantai Wanrong, Zhao Tianya, and the others.
Zhao Tianya laughed, “No worries.
We also just got up.”
After Li Zhaojun finished washing up and dressed neatly, it was already nine in the morning.
Though they were starting the day late, Li Zhaojun, Tantai Wanrong, and the others didn’t plan to just have a quick breakfast and head out to see the sights.
Instead, they had Ye Fan drive them to a well-known breakfast restaurant in Hangzhou to enjoy the local morning cuisine.
While they were having breakfast, Ye Fan’s phone suddenly received a call from an unknown number in Hua Hai city.
Answering it, it turned out to be Lan Qingrong, Zeng Jingwei’s roommate.
Li Zhaojun, Tantai Wanrong, and the others were focused on eating, so Ye Fan stepped aside to talk.

How about going out to have so fun?”

Lan Qingrong didn’t end the call imdiately but took the chance to chat with Ye Fan for another three or four minutes before ending the call at an appropriate ti.
Ye Fan returned to the breakfast table and continued eating.
Tantai Wanrong said to him, “We just decided that we’re not going back today and will stay to play another day tomorrow.”
