Chapter 759: Chapter 755: The Four Great Tutors Compete for Early Invitations

The song flowed quietly through the entire silent concert hall, devoid of any ostentation, suppressing the frenzied dance of various restless instrunts, like a sorrowful soul speaking its heart out after being cald by injury.

It seed as if ti had stopped, and only the song flowed through the hall.

Shen Yan had also arrived at the scene, wearing a long duckbill cap and large sunglasses, sitting in an inconspicuous corner quietly listening to Ye Fan sing.

Although this was her second ti listening, she was still fully absorbed.

Not only Shen Yan, but everyone had sunk completely, including the four ntors.

No one was crying, but tears flowed as if they weren’t their own, continuously sliding down without their knowledge.

“…the sand brought by the wind passes through all mories

Everyone knows I’m thinking of you

The sand brought by the wind cries in obscurity

Could it have foretold this separation?”

Finally, Ye Fan finished singing “Crying Sand,” and the hall was still silent.

Ye Fan gathered his emotions and looked towards the ntors’ podium, only to be surprised, completely beyond his expectation.

Not a single ntor had turned around!

Not one!

“Could it be? Did I sing that badly?” Ye Fan was utterly speechless.

At that mont, the four ntors’ chairs automatically turned back.

“Ah! What’s happening? What’s happening?!” Na Ying exclaid in shock, “No one turned around!”

The other ntors also ca to their senses and discovered this awkward situation, with amusing expressions appearing on their faces.

Shen Yan couldn’t help but cover her mouth with her hand in surprise, unable to believe that not a single ntor had turned for Ye Fan.

The program director looked up painfully and slapped his forehead; the contestant they had paid five million for had not passed the blind audition.

anwhile, the audience had also recovered, outraged that not a single ntor had turned for “Prisoner Two,” who had sung so well, shouting accusations of injustice and conspiracy.

The host, Hua Shao, hurriedly ca on stage to rescue the situation and calm the audience, asking everyone to quiet down.

Finally, the audience quieted down temporarily.

All four ntors stood up, left their chairs, and sincerely said to “Prisoner Two,” “Contestant, we are very sorry and regretful; your singing truly deserved our turns.”

“Not bad,” Yang Kun said, “But, I think it’s not entirely our fault, you are also to bla. Because you sang so enchantingly that we were just listening to your song and completely forgot that this is a blind audition, so much so that we forgot to press the button to turn for you.”

“To sing a cappella to this extent shows that your level of performance is very high, at least we wouldn’t dare to sing a cappella in public,” Wang Feng said.

Zhou Jielun added, “Anyway, I can’t sing a cappella. So, I’m very envious of you.”

Na Ying, Wang Feng, and Yang Kun couldn’t help but smile knowingly. Zhou Jielun might be a top-notch power vocalist, but his diction indeed has issues, as is widely acknowledged.

Facing these four big shots, Ye Fan remained composed and smiled lightly, “Thank you for the complints, ntors.”

Then, the four ntors resud their seats.

Wang Feng spoke first, “Although we were so engrossed in your singing that we forgot to turn, you still have another chance for a wildcard pick. We have a chance to make ands too. Please introduce yourself.”

“Hello everyone, I’m called Prisoner Two, and I’m an internet singer,” Ye Fan introduced himself briefly and then fell silent.

After waiting a mont and seeing that Ye Fan had no intention of continuing, Na Ying couldn’t help but exclaim, “Is that it? You haven’t introduced your age, hotown, or anything.”

“And, taking this opportunity, could you reveal your real na?” Na Ying asked curiously.

Ye Fan shook his head.

Na Ying expressed her disappointnt, “That’s really a pity.”

“A perpetual topic,” Wang Feng interjected, “What are your dreams?”

The audience burst into laughter at this point.

“Do I have to say?” Ye Fan asked, blinking.

“Of course,” Wang Feng responded.

“Alright,” Ye Fan said, “My dream is to be an excellent successor of communism.”

The audience burst into laughter.

The ntors couldn’t help but laugh as well.

“…We are all successors of communism.”

Such a familiar phrase, yet over the years, many have forgotten it.

Ye Fan said this not as a flippant remark, but as his genuine belief. His background, his life experiences, and his current position ant heritage was his mission.

However, everyone took it as a humorous response rather than his real aspiration.

After the laughter, Yang Kun began his pitch, “Prisoner Two, I’ve heard your songs and think you and I are similar, both heartfelt singers. Especially after hearing you sing ‘Crying Sand,’ I felt a kindred spirit. In the next wildcard round, I hope you’ll join my team.”

“I am also a heartfelt singer,” Na Ying imdiately chid in.

Wang Feng and Zhou Jielun said in unison, “We are heartfelt singers too!”

After saying this, Yang Kun was the first to laugh, followed by the others.

Na Ying continued, “‘Crying Sand’ has been covered by many singers, each with their characteristics. I think the feeling you give is the highest realm of emotional love songs, unconsciously bringing tears, with the song, the story, and the imagery lingering in our minds, unable to dissipate. When rembered, we can’t help but sigh. In the next wildcard round, co to my team. I understand you. Co, we’ll have a lot to talk about musically.”

“Prisoner Two, I won’t say much, but after listening to your song, I have only one thought, to write a song that is completely yours,” Zhou Jielun played his trump card, “Co to my team, and we’ll get along well.”

Wang Feng said, “Prisoner Two, I hear a lot of potential and future in your voice. You can also do rock music. Rock is eternal, it gives people power, an indomitable spirit. Welco to my team, we can have many discussions about rock, and you’ll discover another side of yourself.”

Once the ntors finished their pitches, Hua Shao interjected, “This isn’t fair to the other wildcard contestants.”

“Prisoner Two, you are the first contestant in the four years since ‘China’s Good Voice’ started, who didn’t get a turn from any ntor but still had them using all ans to woo you in advance,” Hua Shao then turned to Ye Fan.

“I’m honored. Thank you, ntors, for your favor,” Ye Fan responded with composure, “I’ll sing well in the upcoming wildcard selection.”

Hua Shao imdiately joked, “You still need to sing well? Aren’t you afraid that our ntors will again just be too engrossed in your singing and forget to turn for you?”

“Prisoner Two, you can sing with confidence. I will turn for you as soon as I hear your first note,” Na Ying assured.

The other three ntors nodded, “That’s right! We won’t make the sa mistake again!”
