Chapter 808: Chapter 804: Ye Fan Personally Interrogates (Part 1)
As Wang Xianzhong wiped away the filth from his chest, Ye Fan turned around and put on a heartfelt expression.
“I’ve said it before, spitting on soone is uncivilized behavior. Why can’t you rember that? It seems, Mr. Wang, your ideological consciousness isn’t high enough. But you haven’t closed your eyes for a whole day, so you must be tired. Having so mood swings is normal, I can understand that.”
After thinking for a mont, Ye Fan continued, “Let’s do this. I’ll find a place for you to rest. You can sleep for two hours, and then we’ll talk again.”
As he spoke, he stood up and said to Xu Xiangli, “Call over two of your people to help him to the resting room.”
When he said “your” people, he emphasized the tone. Xu Xiangli understood, answered, and turned to leave. As she was about to walk out of the office, she heard Ye Fan say, “Also bring over that young man who was hitting others earlier.”
Xu Xiangli was slightly startled, then nodded, “Okay.” She said as she walked out of the office.
After a short while, she brought over three security team mbers. Two team mbers supported Wang Qiang from both sides and left the office.
Seeing Ye Fan, the security team mber who had acted fiercely during the earlier interrogation shrank his neck and hid behind Xu Xiangli like a quail. Ye Fan saw this and couldn’t help but find it amusing. He waved, “Young man, co here for a mont.”
The security team mber was a bit stunned, then walked over hesitantly.
Ye Fan adopted a leading tone, “Young man, what’s your na?”
The security team mber was burly, matching Ye Fan’s build, and only a few years younger than Ye Fan. Being addressed in such a manner felt awkward, but a higher-ranking officer carries authority. Song Dazhuang was sowhat puzzled but still moved over.

Watching the man leave quickly, Ye Fan couldn’t help but smile and asked, “Which unit was this young man in before?”
Xu Xiangli exclaid, “Leader, how did you know he served in the army?”
“He’s straightforward, hates evil, passionate, capable, and respectful. Only the military can cultivate such people,” Ye Fan said. In fact, there was another reason; he felt the unique aura of a soldier on Song Dazhuang, but this feeling was not sothing that could be easily explained.
At this point, he suddenly recalled the dissolved Dragon Squad and thought of the brothers he’d once fought alongside, now scattered in different places. His heart couldn’t help but feel a little sad.
“He was a soldier in the Chengdu Military District, and his hotown is our Mingde County. After retiring, he joined the security team.” Xu Xiangli admired Ye Fan but then furrowed her brow slightly, “Leader, aren’t you going to interrogate Wang Qiang?”

Ye Fan smiled and whispered so only the two of them could hear, “Wang Xianzhong did sothing manipulative, but it doesn’t matter; soon, Wang Qiang will confess everything.”
In the office of the security team, a pair of sinister eyes peered through a gap in the curtains, watching the two leave.
Wang Xianzhong turned around and said viciously, “Damn it, a local officer can’t compare to the current authority. Wang Qiang, that thug, isn’t easy to deal with. Let’s see what you can get out of this interrogation!”
A security team mber leaned over from across the room, “Captain Wang, what did you just say?”
Wang Xianzhong impatiently waved his hand, “Go away, get lost!”
The security team mber sat back down, his face smiling, but inside he thought, damn it, he’s just a deputy captain, yet being firmly suppressed by a woman, what’s so great about that?!
Ye Fan returned to his office and called Mo Xiaoyan, asking, “Xiaoyan, does your company have any business competitors around this area?”
Mo Xiaoyan laughed, “Competitors are everywhere; any costics manufacturer nationwide is a competitor. But here in Mingde County and the surrounding areas, I’m the only one making costics. Why are you suddenly asking about this?”
“Think about it, have you offended anyone recently?” Ye Fan asked.
There was a mont of silence from the other end before Mo Xiaoyan’s voice ca, “No, I’ve been busy with the company and factory business; I haven’t had ti to provoke anyone!”
“Then it’s fine. Go about your business. I’ll hang up now.”
Ye Fan hung up the phone, not in a hurry. He would wait for Wang Qiang to confess before dealing with it.
He opened the docunts on the desk and began reading.
Now in charge of three departnts—security, anti-riot, and disciplinary inspection—the workload weighed on him, preventing any easy escape.
Just with these three departnts, the pressure felt enormous. It was no wonder managing the entire police station and serving as the county’s political and legal committee secretary put so much pressure on Zhao Lina, who had noticeably lost weight recently.
Thinking of this, Ye Fan pulled out his phone and texted Zhao Lina, “How about grabbing dinner after work?”
Yet for quite a while, he couldn’t press the send button.
He couldn’t possibly divorce Li Zhaojun, and Zhao Lina neither wanted nor would be the third party. Between the two, there’s really no way forward. “I can’t waste Lina’s ti,” Ye Fan thought, sighed, and pressed the delete button.
The ssage can be deleted, but can the two of them ever return to the past?
Ye Fan shook his head, cleared those chaotic thoughts from his mind, and handled several more affairs. When he looked up at the wall clock, he found it was already after work hours. He stood up and walked out of the office, surprised to see Xu Xiangli, “Xiangli, why haven’t you left?”
“Uh, well,” Xu Xiangli unusually hesitated, “The matter with Wang Qiang hasn’t…”
The entire afternoon had been like a cat scratching at her heart. How could Wang Qiang, an obstinate rogue, confess just after a nap? Yet, in her heart, Ye Fan had always been decisive and authoritative. So, while rationally she didn’t believe it, emotionally, she leaned towards believing it, like two little figures fighting in her head, making her restless and anxious, desperately waiting for results.
Others felt the sa, so even after work, almost half of the security team hadn’t left. So wanted to see how Ye Fan would pry open Wang Qiang’s mouth, while others, like Wang Xianzhong, wanted to stay and watch Ye Fan’s embarrassnt.
The two of them arrived at the security team office in succession, and Song Dazhuang was already waiting there. Ye Fan said to him, “It’s about ti. Bring Wang Qiang over.”
The crowd watched intently, curious about the trick Ye Fan had up his sleeve.
In the corner, Wang Xianzhong snorted and thought to himself, “Still putting on airs, let’s see how you handle this shortly!”
After about four or five minutes, Song Dazhuang returned, with two security team mbers supporting Wang Qiang on either side.
Unlike when he left, Wang Qiang’s head hung low, his arms lacked strength, his legs dragged limply on the ground. He was practically being dragged by the two security team mbers.
All the security team mbers stared wide-eyed, thinking the sa thing: Did they use heavy punishnt and kill him?!
