"Let’s go."
Qian Guxing took the lead and walked on ahead.
Fang Yu was startled for a mont, then quickly followed, doubts forming in his mind.
Although he was here to look for the wrongdoer related to the Blood Bank incident, he was also investigating the Mo Family’s slaver case by chance.
But he could see blood levels.
If there really were ’demons,’ he certainly wouldn’t miss them.
This investigation into demonic entities was naturally a valid concern.
But what could Qian Guxing have?
Help investigate demons?
How would she do that?
Fang Yu didn’t understand and decided to first carefully observe what the current situation was.
Qian Guxing walked with such lightness, as if she had completely stepped out from the shadow of Qian Guyue’s death.
She felt safe.
The mont Diao Deyi appeared before her, she felt an imnse sense of safety.
Yesterday, after the Peony Workshop incident erupted, the Prison began to bring in many from the Mo Family continuously.
So of these Mo Family prisoners were not only arrogant, but also clamoring to kill the prison guards.
Although they quieted down a bit after being severely tortured by the prison guards,
so prisoners still had a vicious attitude.
Qian Guxing was afraid.
Very afraid.
The more arrogant and fierce these people were, the less she dared to punish them.
The reason was simple.
Qian Guxing was afraid that there were real demons among them.
If a demon revealed its true form in the Prison and started a massacre, Qian Guxing was scared to the point of shivering.
She couldn’t face such a future.
Thus, there were so prisoners she didn’t even dare to interrogate or face, and she even instructed the prison guards not to trouble those prisoners.
Unless there were orders from above.
But in fact, those from above typically only took care of arresting people.
Interrogation was the job of the Prison personnel, and unless soone was extrely important or held a high position in the Mo Family, no one would co over specifically to interrogate.
The higher-ups didn’t care, and Qian Guxing didn’t dare.
So so of the Mo Family began to grow more and more insolent, becoming sowhat uncontrollable.
A part of those imprisoned even started acting lawlessly.
If they weren’t wary of this being the territory of the Foolish Underworld, who knows what they would have done.
Qian Guxing knew this wasn’t right.
But she was truly afraid, and she didn’t dare face demons anymore.
Every prisoner who might be a demon made her fearful.
But after Diao Deyi appeared, everything changed.
Qian Guxing had personally witnessed Diao Deyi slaying a demon in the Prison.
The image of that mont was now branded in her heart as if seared by a hot iron.
"If Diao Deyi is here."
"If he is by my side."
"Even if there were real demons among those vicious Mo Family prisoners, I wouldn’t be afraid anymore!"
"Because... he will definitely protect !"
Qian Guxing turned back to look at Fang Yu, her eyes full of delight and happiness.
The worries and troubles pressing on her heart were sliced away simply because of Fang Yu’s arrival.
Rising on her tiptoes, she couldn’t help but hum a light tune in relaxation.
The pressure that weighed on her shoulders dissipated suddenly.
"The feeling of having soone to share the burden... it’s really nice."
Qian Guxing couldn’t help but take another stealthy glance at Fang Yu, feeling sweet inside.
As they approached the cell, however, her steps slowed.
She silently moved beside Fang Yu, tugged at his sleeve, and pointed to the cell ahead, whispering.
"Here, it’s this person!"
"Third Elder Mo, Mo Yude!"
"He’s very likely to be the demon!"
Third Elder Mo?
Fang Yu’s mind stirred.
He walked over with Qian Guxing.
And scanned inside.
He saw an old man with white hair sitting cross-legged in the cell.
Seemingly hearing their approach, the elder slowly opened his eyes.
Upon recognizing the visitors, he gradually revealed a cold smirk.
"The little girl is back?"
"When your father was young, he ca in and out of this damn Prison seven tis! He still had to call Master Mo! Good wine and good at were served!"
"Now to this generation, you’ve lost all sense of propriety."
"What? You brought a pretty boy along? The people of the Foolish Underworld are useless; whoever dares to touch today will die!"
By the end of his rant, the Third Elder was bellowing! His eyes flared wide, showing a vicious and maniacal deanor.
His long hair disheveled, he imdiately looked the part of a mad old man.
Sowhat reminiscent of the Mad Dog Fist.
What’s the situation with this Third Elder?
Imprisoned, yet still so insolent?
Fang Yu felt that Qian Guxing shrank behind him, frightened.
Fang Yu was speechless.
You’re supposed to be the head here in the Prison, so how can you be scared by a prisoner like this?
No wonder you look at as if I’m a savior; it turns out you can’t handle these criminals at all.
He lifted his gaze a bit, checking the blood bar.
[Mo Yude: 75/75.]
Fang Yu:...
A trash with not even three-digit health, what are you barking for?
"Drag him out."
"Who dares!!"
As soon as Fang Yu spoke, Third Elder Mo imdiately roared, clearly ready to kill.
The nearby prison guards were also sowhat scared, hesitant to approach.
The brash are afraid of the bold, and the bold are afraid of those who have nothing to lose.
Third Elder Mo’s current attitude seed to have that flavor of recklessness.
Whoever entered his cell would be killed by him.
Qian Guxing feared he had a demon within him and didn’t dare to interrogate.
Prison guards wouldn’t act without an order.
This had given Third Elder Mo the confidence to do as he pleased in the Prison.
His tactic had already worked on that woman, very effectively, no one dared to drag him out for interrogation.
At least not until there were orders from above; he wouldn’t have to endure any physical torture.
But today, there was an unexpected developnt.
