After a long mont, Ling Xiu finally suppressed his shock and explained, "Brother Lin, your proposal is impossible. Whether it’s chas, Armored Vehicles, Firearms, or cold weapons, they all have serial numbers."

"Unless you have a way to make them willingly return to the Shelter and complete the transfer procedures with the rcenary Guild, it would be considered illegal possession."

"Of course, we could also scrape off the serial numbers or sothing, but if we can’t clearly explain the origin of the weapons, we’d still be charged with the sa cri."

"This is a regulation established by the rcenary Guild to prevent powerful rcenary Corps from plundering the weapons and equipnt of weaker ones."

"As you know, a rcenary Corps’ entire fortune is pretty much tied up in their weapons," Ling Xiu explained.

After hearing this, Lin Xinghai couldn’t help but smack his lips. It was the first ti he felt that the rcenary Guild’s well-established regulations had their downsides.

"If that’s the case, then there’s a lot less we can plunder!" Lin Xinghai said, counting on his fingers. "Only Elental Crystals, Energy Crystal Stones, ammunition, wrist-mounted computers..."

"Brother Lin, wrist-mounted computers are a no-go too! Those things are also tracked," Ling Xiu quickly added.

Lin Xinghai pursed his lips. "Fine, then! Just those three things. I hope they have a big stash."

Ling Xiu couldn’t help but wipe the cold sweat from his forehead and asked, "Brother Lin, what should we do then?"

"Here’s the plan. You give them an ultimatum first. If they still don’t listen, leave the rest to ," Lin Xinghai said.

Ling Xiu: "Uh... what kind of ultimatum?"

Lin Xinghai: "Nothing too complicated. Just show them our attitude. You can just fire a shot at them, or blast them once with a Hand Cannon."

Ling Xiu felt the sweat on his forehead start to flow even more freely.

’This so-called ultimatum was to just open fire? What if they fired back? Wouldn’t that just start a fight?’

Although he was grumbling internally, he didn’t argue and chose to do as he was told.

Of course, he used his Tearing Rifle for the attack.

BANG!

The gunshot rang out. In the blink of an eye, the bullet crossed the distance between them and struck the Armored Vehicle squarely, sending a shower of sparks flying.

But that was all. Against the Armored Vehicle’s thick Alloy plating, an ordinary bullet could at most leave a small hole.

Even an Armor-Piercing Bullet couldn’t possibly penetrate armor that thick.

Ling Xiu’s shot gave the mbers of the Giant Hamr rcenary Corps a huge fright. They had considered that the other party might use aggressive thods to force them to stop.

But they never expected their opponents to be so aggressive as to open fire imdiately.

"What do we do, Commander?"

"Are those guys crazy?! They just opened fire!"

"This is outrageous! They’re just a hunting squad. Do they really think we’re a soft target?"

The Giant Hamr rcenary Corps’ communication channel erupted into chaos once again.

So were nervous and anxious, while others were indignant and aggressive.

Ren Hong’s brow was also tightly furrowed; he hadn’t expected them to open fire imdiately either.

This imdiately put him in a bind. Hearing the argunts on the communication channel only made him more agitated.

Of course, no matter what he thought, he ultimately had to make a decision. "Let’s wait and see. It’s possible they can’t do anything to us, got desperate, and are just trying to scare us."

Ren Hong could only take the gamble. He bet that they really had no way to stop him. Even though their opponent’s Gun Technique was impressive, it was common knowledge that Armored Vehicles were bulletproof.

As long as they could hold out until they got back to the Shelter, it would be their victory.

However, what he didn’t know was that Lin Xinghai had always been good at shattering other people’s common sense.

...

anwhile, Lin Xinghai waited for about 10 seconds. Seeing no reaction, he ordered Huang Nuo, "Close the distance to 150 ters."

Lin Xinghai might have seed domineering, but that didn’t an he was careless. In fact, he was constantly on guard against the Giant Hamr rcenary Corps.

That’s why he had maintained a distance of over 200 ters between their vehicles. Otherwise, if the enemy unleashed a volley of Hand Cannon fire, they might have been done for.

A distance of 200 ters was beyond the maximum range of a Hand Cannon.

As for the Tearing Rifle, while 200 ters was not beyond its maximum range, for ordinary rcenaries, hitting a high-speed off-road vehicle at that distance was no easy task, let alone a person.

Soon, as their off-road vehicle accelerated, the distance between them closed to 150 ters.

This was still a safe range for their team.

But for the Giant Hamr rcenary Corps, it was a completely different story, because they had just entered the range of Lin Xinghai’s Perception Power.

Without hesitation, Lin Xinghai raised his rifle and aid.

BANG! BANG!

Two Armor-Piercing Bullets flew out almost simultaneously.

Lin Xinghai aid for the Armored Vehicle’s front-right wheel—though, of course, he wasn’t shooting at the tire itself.

The Armored Vehicle’s tires were made of a special solid rubber; even if you shot clean through them, they would still function.

So, he was aiming for the bearing that secured the wheel.

Although the Armored Vehicle was forged entirely from high-strength Alloy and was theoretically bulletproof, an ordinary person couldn’t possibly land two bullets on the exact sa spot.

But Lin Xinghai was no ordinary person. So, when both Armor-Piercing Bullets struck the bearing, half of it instantly shattered.

The driver of the Armored Vehicle imdiately felt sothing was wrong, but before he could report it, two more gunshots rang out.

BANG! BANG!

Struck in the sa spot, the bearing responsible for securing and supporting the wheel snapped.

The consequences were terrifying. The Armored Vehicle’s massive, two-ter-diater wheel was instantly sent flying.

The entire Armored Vehicle lost control, veering toward a building on the side of the road.

CRASH!

With a deafening roar, the dilapidated building instantly collapsed. The Armored Vehicle plowed through the entire structure before coming to a stop on the street across from it.

Many of the rcenaries inside were bruised and bleeding from the impact. Of course, no one was paying attention to that right now, because a single thought surfaced in everyone’s mind.

’How on earth did they do that?’

Because Lin Xinghai was firing two guns at once, even though he had fired a total of four shots, it only sounded like two gunshots to the listeners.

If anyone had claid before that soone could disable an Armored Vehicle with just two shots, these rcenaries would have spat in their face.

But now, it had happened right before their very eyes. As the shock wore off, a sense of terror inevitably began to creep in.

At that mont, Lin Xinghai had Huang Nuo stop the off-road vehicle just over 150 ters away. He returned to the front passenger seat, switched on the loudspeaker, and said, "Hey, everyone over there. Ti to pay your fee."

"The zombie tide is currently 2 kiloters behind us. At their speed, they’ll be here in 10 minutes, tops. Factor in the ti you’ll need to weld that bearing, and I’d say you have about five minutes to decide whether or not to pay our fee."
