"All squads are ready and can move out at any ti," Fang Tianhe said to Lin Xinghai after listening to the reports from each Squad Leader.

"Alright! Then we’ll proceed as planned. Squads Two and Three will take the left flank, Squads Four and Five the right flank. Squad One will hold the center and push forward," Lin Xinghai ordered.

As the order was given, the convoy quickly ford a triangular formation.

At the sa ti, mbers of the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps leaped down from the Armored Vehicles, filling in the gaps within the triangular formation and advancing with the vehicles.

Of course, 10 mbers remained inside each Armored Vehicle. This made every Armored Vehicle the equivalent of a mobile turret.

anwhile, the mbers inside the triangular formation could use the five Armored Vehicles on the periter for Defense.

In addition to the Armored Vehicles, several chas were also deployed. Fang Tianhe piloted his cha to the left flank to command and prepare for any unexpected situations.

As for the right flank, Shen Han and Roger were in charge, each piloting a cha.

Lin Xinghai, of course, took his position at the very front of the formation. This point would bear the brunt of the impact, and only with him personally holding the line could they ensure the formation wouldn’t be broken by the zombie horde.

"Ah Xing, will we be okay here? There are so few of us," Liu Miaomiao said, her face full of worry as she watched the formation change.

Squad One had a full roster of 40 people, but so were injured and didn’t co, so there were only 35 of them here.

Their numbers were only half of the two flanks combined, yet they had to face the greatest pressure. It would be a lie to say Liu Miaomiao wasn’t nervous.

"Don’t worry. Squad One might be a bit small, but everyone who makes it in is an elite mber. Whether it’s their Gun Technique or close-quarters combat, they’re a cut above the rest."

"Besides, we’re the main force, so we aren’t responsible for collecting Elental Crystals. That frees up more people. All in all, the number of people available to attack won’t be that much lower."

"And don’t forget, you’ve got here too!" Lin Xinghai said with a reassuring smile.

Just then, as the convoy drew closer, the horde of Zombies wandering the outskirts of Guanghan City finally noticed them.

ROAR!

ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!

As one Zombie let out an excited shriek, the attention of all the other wandering Zombies nearby was imdiately drawn to them.

Then, a large horde of Zombies charged toward the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps, roaring with excitent.

To these Zombies, any human was food. And now that a large group of food had delivered itself to their doorstep, how could they not be excited?

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The mbers of the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps, of course, didn’t hold back, pulling their triggers quickly and decisively.

Liu Miaomiao then watched as the first wave of over a hundred Zombies fell in droves. They couldn’t even get within 20 ters of the convoy.

"Whoa! Is our rcenary Corps really this strong?" Liu Miaomiao’s face was filled with astonishnt.

Although this was her first mission, she had joined the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps a week ago and had been involved with logistics.

Because she had to coordinate supplies, she had dealt with other rcenary Corps quite a bit. She certainly understood the typical skill level of a normal Second Level rcenary Corps.

A Second Level rcenary Corps wouldn’t be afraid of a hundred Zombies, but they definitely wouldn’t have such an easy ti.

At the very least, they wouldn’t be so strong that the horde couldn’t even get near the Armored Vehicles. Especially with those High Level Zombies—if a Second Level rcenary Corps didn’t have a few mbers with good Gun Technique holding the line, it would definitely be quite troubleso.

Seeing the surprise on Liu Miaomiao’s face, Lin Xinghai felt a faint sense of pride.

It could be said that the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’s current combat strength was all a result of his training.

Their Gun Technique, in particular, was so good that any single mber could be considered an absolute elite in another rcenary Corps.

And it was precisely because of this level of Gun Technique that the combat power unleashed by these 150-plus people was in no way inferior to that of any Third Level rcenary Corps.

After quickly dealing with this wave of Zombies, the rcenaries rapidly collected the Elental Crystals. However, they weren’t cleaning up every last one like they usually did.

In order to maintain the triangular formation, all mbers only collected the nearby Elental Crystals, abandoning any that fell outside the formation.

Everyone’s movents were nimble and swift. This was, of course, a result of Lin Xinghai pushing them. He had been frantically hunting Zombies for so ti, and everyone had beco skilled at collecting Elental Crystals.

ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!

Perhaps the commotion from the first batch of Zombies had attracted even more. Hordes from the city’s outskirts charged out, one after another.

The Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps didn’t flinch, eting them head-on and plunging into battle once more.

But this ti, it wasn’t just one group of Zombies that charged out.

They ca wave after wave, as if all the Zombies in the vicinity had been drawn over, forming what looked like a miniature zombie tide.

Faced with such an assault, the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps was by no ans having an easy ti. They could no longer kill all the Zombies from 20 ters away.

As the Zombies charged forward one after another, they finally reached the Armored Vehicle where Lin Xinghai was located and began to tear and claw at it.

But the Zombies quickly realized they couldn’t damage this hunk of tal for the ti being, so their attention soon shifted to the soldiers inside the triangular formation.

Instantly, the formation began to look precarious. Many rcenaries drew their Hand Cannons, using the terrifying explosions and shockwaves to temporarily halt the horde’s advance.

Seeing this, Liu Miaomiao also hurried to help, but she soon discovered that her half-baked Gun Technique was completely useless in the grand sche of things.

In the ti it took her to kill one Zombie, three more had already taken its place.

Liu Miaomiao looked up into the distance. The surging mass of Zombies was so dense she couldn’t see the end of it.

The sight made her face turn a little pale.

But just then, a familiar and steady voice sounded beside her ear.

"Two people, co up with ," Lin Xinghai said.

"Yes, sir!" two rcenaries imdiately stepped forward, excited.

As they answered, they grabbed the spare Firearms next to them. Each held at least three Tearing Rifles, along with two square tal boxes, which Liu Miaomiao knew were automatic reloading devices.

An armor plate on top of the Armored Vehicle opened, and Lin Xinghai and the others imdiately leaped up.

Through the open armor plate, Liu Miaomiao could see a semi-circular firing platform slowly rising from the roof of the vehicle.

This firing platform had been specially commissioned by Fang Tianhe. Only this Armored Vehicle had one, and its purpose was, of course, to accommodate Lin Xinghai.

Lin Xinghai walked to the front of the firing platform. The two rcenaries following him imdiately placed the fully loaded Firearms they were carrying within his easy reach.

The two also quickly checked if the magazines of the other Firearms in their hands were full, reloading them imdiately if they weren’t.

’Don’t tell those two went up there just to help him reload!’ Liu Miaomiao’s eyes widened.

Even though she knew Lin Xinghai’s Gun Technique was incredible, she still found this a bit exaggerated. This was clearly a waste of manpower!
