Seeing that everyone wanted to tag along and earn Points, Lin Xinghai offered a slight smile, nodded at Qin Wenbo, and said, "Alright! No problem."
Just when everyone thought this was rely a polite remark, Lin Xinghai continued, "In that case, let’s set it for tomorrow. Are you all free?"
"Huh?" After a mont of surprise, Qin Wenbo quickly ca to his senses and said, "Yes, of course we’re free."
And it wasn’t just him; the eyes of the rcenary Corps Leaders gathered around instantly lit up with eagerness.
"Captain Lin, take our Blue Water rcenary Corps with you! We’re also a Third Level rcenary Corps and can fully cooperate with your Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps."
"Captain Lin, while our Fierce Leopard rcenary Corps is a Second Level rcenary Corps, we have four chas. We absolutely won’t drag you down."
"Captain Lin, our Barbaric rcenary Corps..."
One after another, the rcenary Corps Leaders clamored to speak, afraid that if they were a step too slow, they would miss this once-in-a-lifeti opportunity.
Looking at the eager crowd, Lin Xinghai smiled slightly and unhurriedly said sothing that stunned everyone.
"There’s no need to rush, everyone. There’s enough to go around. Anyone here today who wants to go can join the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’ operation tomorrow to earn Points."
The mont Lin Xinghai spoke, nearly everyone present froze. But after the initial shock wore off, they all had a nagging feeling that this wasn’t as simple as they thought.
Noticing the shift in everyone’s expressions, Lin Xinghai remained unhurried and asked calmly, "Does anyone know where we’re going that allows us to hunt so many Mutated Zombies?"
Everyone shook their heads in unison. They had long wanted to ask this question but had held back, fearing it was a taboo subject. Now that Lin Xinghai had brought it up himself, their faces filled with curiosity and anticipation.
"Guanghan City!" Lin Xinghai slowly uttered the two words.
Instantly, the sound of sharp, collective gasps filled the air.
What kind of place was Guanghan City? The three words, "rcenary Restricted Area," said it all.
This was a place that even Third Level rcenary Corps did their best to avoid. They never expected the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps would actually dare to go.
They were even more surprised that not only had the corps gone there, but they had also returned safely with such a massive haul.
But with a little more thought, it all made sense. Only a terrifying place like Guanghan City could possibly have enough Mutated Zombies for a demon like Lin Xinghai to hunt.
"Brother Lin, you’re not planning to take us to Guanghan City, are you?" Qin Wenbo finally asked.
"That’s right!" Lin Xinghai nodded.
In an instant, the once-eager expressions on the captains’ faces turned grim.
They wanted to ride the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’ coattails for so easy profit, not follow them to their deaths.
For a place like Guanghan City, even if Lin Xinghai was willing to take them, which rcenary Corps would dare to follow?
"Brother Lin, you really have a way of doing the unexpected! But I really don’t dare follow you to a place like that." Qin Wenbo shook his head with a wry smile.
Although Lin Xinghai was powerful, he couldn’t possibly protect everyone. ’He’ll probably have his hands full just protecting the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps.’ After a mont of consideration, Qin Wenbo had no choice but to give up on the idea.
’There are plenty of other opportunities to earn Points. There’s no need to take a risk like this.’
"Everyone, I know you have reservations about Guanghan City. But since I said you could co along, how could I not have considered everyone’s strength?"
"Let be frank with you all. When we go to Guanghan City, you’ll only have to deal with Ordinary Zombies. The military will take care of the Mutated Zombies."
Hearing Lin Xinghai ntion the military, everyone’s expressions shifted once more. They imdiately realized this was most likely another large-scale operation organized by the Shelter.
At the sa ti, the captains all relaxed. With the military involved, the pressure on them was reduced by more than half. Even if they ran into danger, there would be others at the front to take the brunt of it.
"Haha, excellent! In that case, we’ll be counting on you to look after us in Guanghan City tomorrow, Brother Lin." Qin Wenbo declared without much hesitation.
At the sa ti, the other Third Level rcenary Corps Leaders also voiced their agreent. Even so Second Level rcenary Corps that considered themselves capable decided, after a mont’s hesitation, that they wanted to go to Guanghan City as well.
"I said it before, everyone is welco to co. In fact, even First Level rcenary Corps can co along, no problem," Lin Xinghai continued after everyone had stated their intentions.
The various captains were shocked once again. This was especially true for the First Level rcenary Corps Leaders, who had been standing on the sidelines thinking this had nothing to do with them. Their gazes toward Lin Xinghai were now filled with a mixture of apprehension and anticipation.
"Brother Lin, what do you an by that?" Qin Wenbo voiced the question on everyone’s mind.
"Because this trip to Guanghan City is a large-scale zombie cleanup. But Guanghan City is special, so we can make so changes to our usual cleanup plan."
"For example, we can use Hand Cannons as the main offensive weapon, with Tearing Rifles and chas only responsible for mopping up." Lin Xinghai’s words were once again astonishing.
However, facing Lin Xinghai, no one dared to question or refute him. Instead, Qin Wenbo spoke up and asked Lin Xinghai for a detailed explanation.
Imdiately, Lin Xinghai activated the projection function of his wrist-mounted computer, selecting so combat footage to show everyone the density of the zombies in Guanghan City.
Then he repeated the content of his previous conversation with Jiang Rui.
"In summary, using Hand Cannons to attack ans you basically can’t lose. Plus, clearing out zombies will be more efficient and safer."
"On top of that, I’ve already coordinated with Supervisor Jiang, who’s in charge of Guild missions. A mission to clear out the zombies in Guanghan City will be posted tomorrow. At that ti, you’ll get 10 Points for every Ordinary Zombie killed, 15 Points for an Interdiate Zombie, and 20 Points for a High Level Zombie."
The rcenary Corps Leaders, who were already very tempted, couldn’t help but cry out in astonishnt when they heard the mission rewards Lin Xinghai described.
A quick ntal calculation was all it took for them to realize this was an absolutely golden opportunity. Even the First Level rcenary Corps could probably earn six to seven thousand Points from a single trip.
While the vast majority of rcenary Corps Leaders were ecstatic, captains like Qin Wenbo, who cald down quickly, looked at Lin Xinghai with an incredibly complex expression.
It was a mix of envy, admiration, and a certain degree of awe.
They weren’t stupid. There hadn’t been so much as a whisper about any of this, yet Lin Xinghai already knew all the details, right down to the specific mission rewards.
What did this an?
It was obvious that Lin Xinghai was on a completely different level from them.
They were just rcenary Corps Leaders, but Lin Xinghai was probably about to enter the decision-making echelons of the rcenary Guild.
No one would even be surprised if, in a little while, Lin Xinghai was parachuted in as a departnt supervisor, directly managing all their rcenary Corps.
