After learning the location of the staff office from Jin Canlan, Lin Xinghai didn’t leave right away. Instead, he went to find Fang Tianhe.

Zhang Yue simply smiled without answering.
Lin Xinghai thought for a mont before it dawned on him. ’It must have been Zhuo Yongyuan who reported my intentions.’
’But since he’s part of the military, that’s not surprising.’
He quickly followed Zhang Yue inside the temporary staff office.
Only after entering did he realize that this was not just a staff office, but also a temporary command post. All the equipnt inside was state-of-the-art, and though the space was cramped, it lacked none of the essential functions.
"General Lin, my apologies for the intrusion." Upon seeing the veteran soldier Lin Zhengyang, Lin Xinghai imdiately snapped to a military salute.
