1215: Chapter 1214: The Ice Palace in the Sun 1215: Chapter 1214: The Ice Palace in the Sun The fire that Ruth Wilcox stirred up within him could not be extinguished by her, so with no choice left, Yusuf Zuck had to seek out Ruby Wood.
Plants be plants then, but how could the beauty of Ruby Wood, which gnaws at the bones and captures the soul, be understood by a re mortal?
After a whole ordeal, Yusuf Zuck forgot about Pier until daylight the next day when he suddenly rembered and imdiately looked outside through the Blue Sea and Cloud Sky!
“No!” Yusuf Zuck broke into a cold sweat, wondering if the wretch couldn’t wait for him and was incinerated by the sun’s fire.
He dared not delay any longer; flustered, he dressed quickly and left the Blue Sea and Cloud Sky, then began to search.
Three hours later, after orbiting the sun once and searching, he shockingly couldn’t find Pier!
“No, no, the stars deep in my soul are still there.” Yusuf Zuck closed his eyes to sense for a mont, Pier’s master-slave star point was still there, even brighter than before, which ant Pier wasn’t dead.
But if he hadn’t died, where had he gone?
Underground?
Inside the sun?
And just thinking about the inside of the sun made Yusuf Zuck’s scalp tingle.
The re surface temperature could incinerate everything, let alone inside?
He was back to square one and waited silently.
And waited he did, for three whole days.
Just as he was becoming impatient, a shadow swooped towards him like a giant bird riding the flas!
“Phew—you scared the living daylights out of !” As the shadow revealed itself to be Pier, Yusuf Zuck took a deep breath.
Truth be told, he did not regard Pier as a slave but as a friend, a brother!
“Master, I found it, I found it.
Co with ,” Pier exclaid excitedly.
“The Sun God Palace?” Yusuf Zuck’s whole body shook.
“It should be the Sun God Palace.
I don’t know exactly what palace, but I found a passage that is devoid of fire and is even cool.
I also saw traces of people having gone inside.”
“Cool?
How’s that possible?” Yusuf Zuck was astonished.
A passage inside the sun that was cool?
What kind of joke was this?
“Yes, it’s miraculous,” Pier also marveled.
“Go, lead the way!”
Imdiately, Pier led the way, and the two quickly flew towards the passage Pier had ntioned.
In just a dozen breaths, Pier brought him to a raised mound of earth on the surface, and that mound was belching flas, the temperature extraordinarily high!
“It’s right here, go down from here and walk about three hundred ters and you’ll reach the passage.
However, this fla is very hot; be exceedingly careful.”
“No problem!” The mont Yusuf Zuck’s Divine Consciousness stirred, the Extre Ice Seal bead erged from the top of his head and he placed it directly in his mouth.
As soon as it entered his mouth, a great amount of steam billowed from his entire body as his frost t the intense heat and lted, thus creating the vapor.
Pier dove in, and Yusuf Zuck imdiately followed closely behind.
Even with the Extre Ice Seal bead in his mouth, Yusuf Zuck could feel the three hundred-ter-long passage was too hot, as if he were about to explode.
But luckily, their speed was fast enough, and they quickly traversed the distance.
Then with a ‘whoosh’, they entered a cool corridor.
Indeed, it was cool, even sowhat cold, while outside the passage was fla, extrely hot fla.
Yusuf Zuck marveled at how extraordinary the world was that extre cold and extre heat could coexist here, and the Sun God who had built a palace within the sun was even more incredible.
How powerful was that Sun God?
“Hmm, soone indeed has been here!” Yusuf Zuck noticed the ssy footprints within the passage, dense and nurous; it looked like many people had co in.
“Right, Brooke Gutierrez and Isla Holloway must co out too.” With a thought from his Divine Consciousness, Yusuf Zuck simultaneously released Brooke Gutierrez and Isla Holloway from the Blue Sea and Cloud Sky.
As soon as they appeared, they were shocked by their surroundings.
Behind them was intense heat, but where they stood was chilling to the bone—a truly miraculous feeling.
“Alright, let’s move on,” said Yusuf Zuck as he took the lead with confident strides.
The passage was long and seed to also descend, winding and twisting in various directions.
The group progressed slowly, walking for nearly two hours before reaching the end of the corridor.
At the end, there was an open stone door, left ajar by soone who had entered before them.
“Let’s go in,” Yusuf Zuck said, stepping in first.
The mont he entered, his whole body stiffened as the intense cold nearly turned his flesh into shards!
Following him, Brooke Gutierrez and Isla Holloway stepped in and were also instantly frozen, their bodies covered with a layer of ice crystals, sealing them completely!
“Fire,” Yusuf Zuck shook his whole body, and as the flas ignited, the ice crystals on his body lted away, and Brooke Gutierrez and Isla Holloway also produced flas, pushing back the cold.
Simultaneously, all four of them gazed curiously at a crystal…
no, an Ice Palace before their eyes!
Incredibly, there was an Ice Palace within the sun itself, with colorful stones embedded within its ice walls, casting a dazzling array of hues over the palace.
“It’s unbelievable, astounding, truly the work of divine craftsmanship!” exclaid Brooke Gutierrez nonstop.
Who could have imagined an Ice Palace inside the sun?
Building an ice edifice within the core of flas, how powerful must one’s Divine Skills be?
Of course, what they were seeing was rely a portion of the Ice Palace, or perhaps just its vestibule.
Directly ahead of them stood another gate, closed tight.
This gate had two leaves, one carved with dragons and the other with phoenixes, both so lifelike they might as well have been real, symbolizing the fortuitous gathering of dragon and phoenix.
However, there were no plaques or inscriptions to be found.
“Soone entered before us, so why is the gate closed?” Ruth Wilcox wondered aloud at that ti.
“There must be a chanism on this door; let’s be careful,” Brooke Gutierrez said, moving forward and drawing his weapon with a swoosh.
Indeed, his Magic Treasure wasn’t a sword, nor was it a curved blade, but a battle-ready katana, unlike the Samurai’s katana yet resembling it.
The katana was blue and shimred with a cold light.
Though an Immortal Artifact, its make was very special, giving off an extrely sharp aura.
Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox, along with Isla Holloway, remained still.
The gate ahead was impervious to Telekinesis, showing no apparent abnormalities.
Yet, all four of them knew that sothing was certainly amiss with it!
“Open for !”
With a “whoosh,” he slashed outwards, his blade casting a frigid chill with extraordinary speed.
However, to everyone’s surprise, when the blade’s light struck the Dragon Gate of the Ice Gate, it vanished in a flash, swallowed up entirely.
“No, no, this is an illusionary gate, not a real one—it’s fake!” Brooke Gutierrez shouted at that mont.
“Shh,” Yusuf Zuck inhaled deeply, then stepped beside Brooke Gutierrez and pointed towards the Dragon Gate on the left.
“Whoosh”—there was no obstruction, and his finger passed right through.
“Just as I thought, a fake gate, I’m going in first!” Yusuf Zuck paid no mind to the others and stepped through.
“Swoosh, swoosh,” Brooke Gutierrez and Ruth Wilcox quickly followed suit, stepping through the Dragon Gate.
However, as Isla Holloway was the fourth to follow, stepping toward the Dragon Gate, a startling shriek suddenly sounded, and then the dragon from the illusionary gate ca to life, charging directly at Isla Holloway.
Taken aback, Isla Holloway quickly tapped her fingers in succession: “Extre Ice Seal, Extre Ice Seal—”
