Chapter 1499: Chapter 1499: What Grudge, What Resentnt
“Who Hugh Zuck is doesn’t matter. What matters is that you want to know Yusuf Zuck’s whereabouts, and it just so happens that Hugh knows where he’s hiding. So if you can’t take Hugh to your dinsion within two hours, he’ll try asking soone else—soone who might be quicker than you.” Hugh Zuck spoke in his usual naïve tone, his expression stubborn and staunch.
“Alright, wait a mont. I’ll ask for confirmation.” Manuel Sweeney gritted his teeth and contacted his father, Zander Sweeney, once again.
“Fine, two hours it is. Hmph, let’s see if this fool truly knows Yusuf Zuck’s whereabouts. If he doesn’t, he won’t even have a place to bury his body.” Zander Sweeney had decided to go all out. Despite initially planning to take three days and set up a Big Array, now he had only two hours and had to give it everything he had.
After receiving confirmation from his father, Manuel imdiately turned to Hugh Zuck, who was preparing to leave, and said, “Co with . In two hours, we’ll arrive at the Elent World!”
“The Elent World?” Hugh’s eyes lit up. “You’re from the Elent World? What kind of place is that?”
Manuel gave him a peculiar look. “You truly don’t know?”
Hugh imdiately shook his head. “Big Bull has never left the Immortal Realm. He doesn’t know the way to the Heavenly Realm, nor does he know how to reach other higher dinsions.”
“Then do you know what my Cultivation Level is?” Manuel asked, his curiosity piqued. Just who was this fool?
“Big Bull doesn’t know.”
“Oh, let’s go.” Manuel shook his head casually. It didn’t matter what kind of person this fool was—once they arrived at the Elent World, he could search his soul to find out.
The two flew out of Dante Stewart City and then out of Dante Stewart Star. Manuel intentionally flew at high speed, wanting to test the fool’s agility and endurance.
However, no matter how fast he flew, the fool sohow managed to keep pace with him, right at his side.
Manuel was secretly alard and imdiately shared this information with his father, Zander Sweeney.
In this way, the two flew for close to two hours before Manuel finally stopped. They were now suspended in the void, surrounded by a Dark Zone.
Hugh Zuck, in his clueless manner, looked around absently.
“Alright, I’m going to break through the dinsional barrier now. You need to follow closely. Otherwise, you might get lost.” Manuel warned.
“Oh, oh, Big Bull understands.” Hugh nodded fervently.
“Wham—” As Hugh finished speaking, Manuel suddenly extended both hands and tore fiercely at the void. Ripples of layered energy waves began to erge.
These rippling energy waves were, in fact, layers upon layers of dinsional planes!
“Exactly like that!” Hugh suddenly exclaid, “Big Bull can also tear open void barriers to form dinsional passages, but he’s never been able to locate the dinsional path to the Heavenly Realm!”
“How could you possibly find it here? Just follow —quickly!” Manuel barked, before jumping into the layered void of black holes.
Hugh followed curiously.
Manuel did not enter any specific dinsional wave; instead, he continued to move forward—swiftly, relentlessly!
“Does the dinsional passage to the Heavenly Realm lie ahead?” Hugh Zuck asked, surprisingly capable of speaking inside the void.
anwhile, Manuel’s face had turned a shade of greenish-purple. Tearing open void black holes consud imnse energy and posed a significant risk—if he wasn’t careful, he might get swept into chaotic void energy streams and end up in unknown realms where escape was impossible.
After walking about twenty paces, Manuel abruptly ripped open another section between two dinsional waves, creating yet another black hole filled with layered energy waves.
As the two jumped into it, Manuel’s hands didn’t pause—he tore again.
This ti, a new black hole erged, but it held only about a dozen energy waves.
Manuel chose a dinsional wave emitting elental energy fluctuations and stood his ground, his gaze fixed on the fissure within it.
Within just a few breaths, his eyes suddenly lit up, and he scread, “Enter!” Without hesitation, he charged inside.
The clueless Hugh Zuck naturally followed in tow.
Upon entering the dinsional passage, both of their bodies spun uncontrollably for what felt like several breaths. Dizzy and disoriented, their bodies eventually lightened.
“Whoosh—” Before Hugh could make sense of what had happened, Manuel vanished into thin air. Hugh landed on a stone platform.
Shaking his head and clearing his senses, Hugh was struck by the imposing sight around him: towering waterfalls surrounded him on all sides. The stone platform upon which he’d stood was situated at the very center of the cascades, and the majesty of this place was surreal—the water from the waterfalls resembled the waters of the Sky River.
Hugh closed his eyes briefly, then let out a hearty laugh, “Ti to bathe!”
“Splash!” Hugh leapt into the icy river, causing swirls of filth and grease to ripple out.
The man was utterly filthy—beyond recognition.
“Whoosh.” As Hugh was happily scrubbing underwater, a middle-aged man descended onto the stone platform from the top of the falls. He couldn’t help but smile wryly. Could the person his son had brought back really be a fool?
But what puzzled him was that this man hailed from the Lower Realm, and yet the Heavenly Dao showed no reaction—no signs of a catastrophe or tribulation. Truly strange!
This man was Zander Sweeney, the Clan Leader of the Sweeney Clan in the Elent World, at the Heavenly Sovereign Realm, and the nad disciple of Jeremiah Colon, the Heavenly Emperor.
The Sweeney Clan in the Elent World was considered no more than a mid-tier clan. After all, their strongest mber was rely at the Heavenly Sovereign Realm, and in order to climb into the ranks of great clans, they heavily relied on Jeremiah Colon’s influence.
Currently, Jeremiah Colon despised Yusuf Zuck to his core. If Zander could uncover Yusuf’s whereabouts, it would be a monuntal accomplishnt.
“Young friend, would you care to show yourself?” Zander called out, deploying the Sky Net and Earth Net around the cascading waters. Several top-tier experts from the clan were also present, and more reinforcents were on their way.
He didn’t believe that soone from the Lower Realm could be invincible upon entering the Heavenly Realm.
“Swoosh!” Hugh Zuck, now freshly cleaned, erged from the water. His features, unlike his prior unkempt appearance, were rather refined—bearing two or three similarities to Yusuf Zuck, though he resembled Ruth Wilcox even more.
Still, his refined features held a kind of naïve charm, and his gaze was slightly vacant.
“Who are you? Big Bull doesn’t know you,” Hugh Zuck said, shaking his head.
“I’m Zander Sweeney, Manuel Sweeney’s father. Manuel brought you here just monts ago. Now, it’s my turn to negotiate with you. You should tell us Yusuf Zuck’s hiding place, since we’ve upheld our end of the bargain!” Zander smiled faintly.
“But I have a few questions. If you can answer them correctly, I’ll tell you. How about that?” Hugh asked in return.
“Alright, go ahead,” Zander pondered.
“What kind of catastrophic cri has that old Yusuf committed? Did he kill soone’s father or destroy soone’s wife and daughters? Who exactly did he provoke? Otherwise, why are so many people across all dinsions searching for him?”
“And second, what grudge does your Sweeney Family hold against Yusuf?”
