Chapter 1507: Chapter 1507: The Great Black Heavenly Demon God
“What just happened?”
“What’s going on?”
“Where did the earthquake co from?”
All the experts from Feishui splashed into the skies in shock, scanning in all directions, searching for the source of the tremor.
However, the earthquake lasted barely two breaths before it suddenly ceased, as if nothing had ever occurred in the Elent World.
The mighty beings extended their Divine Consciousness across the world’s atmosphere, probing its currents and flows, yet they found nothing amiss. It seed the quake was rely a tectonic collision in the prelude to the true formation of the Elent World.
As doubts lingered among the ancient gods, a sudden transformation took place.
A blood-red cloud rolled in from the distant horizon, and in an instant, it enshrouded all the sky above Feishui Splash, plunging the heavens into a red mist where not even one’s hand could be seen.
“Blood Demon, how dare you?!” the Green Cloud Heavenly Emperor roared, and all the other Heavenly Emperors joined in, their voices echoing as they attacked.
Within the blood mist ca waves of turbulence. Monts later, the blood mist dissipated rapidly, condensing into the silhouette of a figure entirely ford from blood energy.
As the blood figure coalesced, a cracking, shattering sound echoed from the far horizon. Then the crowd witnessed the ergence of a skeleton, towering a hundred zhang, holding a sharp axe. Its entire form was white bone, bereft of any trace of flesh or blood.
Accompanying this skeleton was an enormous creature ford from black mist. Horns jutted from its head, its mouth bared fangs, exuding an aura of pure nace.
In addition, a golden radiance and a crimson glow rushed in from the distance, while a colossal humanoid black bull charged forward.
And many, many more—seventy-two in total—each a monstrous entity of varied forms and overwhelming presence.
The Ancient Great Gods had already gathered together, particularly the weaker ones, whose teeth now trembled audibly in fear.
It was the Ancient Demons!
They were the Ancient Great Gods, but those arriving now were the true Demon Gods of antiquity.
Skeleton Demons, Blood Demons, Soul Demons, Bull Demons, Saint Demons, Saint Masters, Heart Ancestors, Azure-Eyed Scholars, Three-Eyed Green Toads—every one of them was here.
The Ancient Demons, long vanished from the world, had returned! Every last one!
Yet, their arrival did not spark imdiate battle. No one spoke a word, but they all began chanting a series of incomprehensible incantations, as if summoning sothing.
“Boom~” A thunderous explosion pierced the void. Suddenly, two enormous hands stretched out from the emptiness, tearing it apart with trendous force, and a figure stepped through.
This figure bore so semblance to a human. Aside from their colossal stature, there was no distinct marker of a Demon God about them.
He was a middle-aged man with a black face, black beard, black hair, black robes, and black eyes. His black robe was adorned with countless black ribbons that writhed around him like tentacles!
“The Great Black Sky Demon God!” The collective gasp of the Ancient Gods revealed overwhelming shock. This figure was none other than the most ferocious and infamous of ancient demons. Legends spoke of his ability to split himself into countless incarnations, infiltrating all planes to extract the darkest energies.
This Great Black Sky Demon God was said to have been born from a wisp of black smoke when heaven and earth first ford—neither human nor demonic beast. He predated even the Ancient Great Gods and Ancient Demons in attaining enlightennt.
Long before the Green Cloud Heavenly Emperor and the others beca Heavenly Emperors, this Demon God had existed—bringing chaos to all corners, completely invincible.
Yes, invincible. In that ancient era, no one could oppose him.
In ti, however, the Great Black Sky Demon God vanished of his own accord. With his departure, the era gradually passed, making way for the appearances of figures like the Blood Demon, Skeleton Demon, Heart Ancestor, and others to continue the demonic path.
The Green Cloud Heavenly Emperor, Yi the Great God, Jade Yao Goddess, and Jeremiah Colon were contemporaries of the Blood and Skeleton Demons.
Thus, the Great Black Sky Demon God was truly the predecessor of all. His notoriety spread far and wide, an unprecedented, supre figure of devastation!
Now, this Demon God had returned, leading the seventy-two Ancient Demon Gods to descend upon the Elent World, hovering ominously above Feishui Splash.
The Green Cloud Heavenly Emperor, Jeremiah Colon, and all the other Ancient Great Gods dared not move. Yet their faces betrayed their nerve-racked tension.
It was then that the Great Black Sky Demon God swept a cold gaze over the assembled gods. In a chilling, deliberate tone, he declared, “Since the dawn of creation, order among the worlds has been chaotic and unresolved. Heaven is not truly heaven, earth is not truly earth, and countless parallel planes have grown entangled. For ages, Ancient Righteous Deities, Evil Gods, Demon Gods, Beast Gods, and the like have cultivated freely, perpetuating endless cycles of turmoil and conflict.”
“I, in accordance with the will of the Heavenly Dao, have now returned to preside over the heavens. From this day forth, let past grievances be buried and let us usher in a grand era of coexistence between gods and demons. The heavens shall henceforth be co-governed by gods and demons alike. It matters not whether you are divine or I am demonic. Be you god or demon, your existence is justified by your purpose. There is no need for conflict between us; together, we can share the skies!”
“Of course, I understand that you may find my proposal difficult to accept, as the divide between gods and demons runs deep. However, my return is truly ordained by the will of Heaven. You need only return to your respective Ancestor’s Halls to confirm this truth.”
“Three days hence, at the Eternal Life Platform of the Eternal Sky, the grand ceremony of divine-demonic coexistence will be held. On that day, the Heavenly Dao shall proclaim its testant and rejoice in what has been achieved…”
“Buzz!” As the Great Black Sky Demon God finished speaking, the sky abruptly dimd, plunging into an impenetrable darkness.
But just as suddenly, the darkness lifted, returning everything to its previous state of clarity.
Yet at that mont, the Ancient Great Gods realized that the Great Black Sky Demon God and the seventy-two Ancient Demon Gods had all vanished without a trace.
Such was the power of the Great Black Sky Demon God: he could darken the heavens and, in that fleeting mont of shadow, use the Stellar Shifting Magical Ability to spirit everyone away.
“He… he… he’s still alive?” So of the gods struggled to co to terms with what had just transpired. The Great Black Sky Demon God—renowned for his chaos, countless slaughters, and endless calamities—was alive. He had returned, proposing coexistence between gods and demons, and even claiming his return to be the will of the Heavenly Dao. That Heaven itself would celebrate his return?
Could such an outrageous notion be real?
“The Great Black Sky Demon God rose before our ti—an unparalleled force who once ruled an entire era. Whether deity or demon, that age was his to command, all sentient beings under his dominion!” The voice ca from none other than the Jade Yao Goddess. Having glimpsed the Demon God during her youth, her mories were indelible.
“What are we to do now? Gods and demons coexisting? He’s clearly planning to occupy the Eternal Sky, bringing the Demon Gods to rule within its sanctity,” soone said nervously.
“Didn’t he claim that our Ancestor’s Halls would reveal enlightennt? Let us return to check!”
“Yes, yes, let’s go and see!” The ancient Heavenly Emperors and Saints all had their own sacred halls of worship, where their lineage and teachings had been preserved by their ancestral ntors.
“Let’s move, quickly!”
“Move, move!”
The entire group scattered in leaps and bounds, overwheld by the magnitude of the event. The heavens seed poised on the brink of monuntal change!
