Yusuf Zuck’s lengthy petition quickly got sent away, and Yusuf, along with the Rat King, continued on their journey.
A month later, they arrived at a market town, but the place was deserted, reeking with decomposed bodies everywhere.

Yusuf examined the corpses and found that none had been killed; they all seed to have died naturally, in their courtyards or on their beds.
Yusuf frowned deeply, as these people seed to have died from a severe illness.
“Let’s go!” Yusuf wasted no ti and continued heading south.
As they traveled, they found the main road crowded with people; so were with their families, while others carried seriously ill relatives.
The Rat King, being quite smart, didn’t wait for Yusuf’s instructions and went off to investigate. Soon after, he hurried back to Yusuf and whispered, “Plague, a great plague. This area is called the Southeast Province, and the plague has already started spreading throughout it. In so villages and towns, all the Immortal Citizens have perished, and even in so big cities, deaths are starting to occur. Right now, people are fleeing, trying to escape the Southeast Province to find refuge elsewhere.”
“Plague?” Yusuf arched an eyebrow, “How do Immortals get plagued?”
“That, I’m not sure,” the Rat King shook his head.
“Who governs this Southeast Province?” Yusuf asked again.
“It’s still under the jurisdiction of the Jacobs Family.”
“Let’s go, save those people ahead!” Yusuf dared not delay, quickly rushing into the crowd, seeking out those gravely ill.
His thod of saving people was simple—bloodletting!
Indeed, he let his own blood, not using the Purple Water Droplet since it was limited, so he used his own blood.
His blood, modified by the Purple Blood Beads and infused with the giant spirit bloodline, was an unparalleled divine redy. Not only could it cure a minor Immortal Realm plague, but even a divine plague!

“Alright, prepare so. Also, have soone set up a tent here and maintain order. So refugees left ho without food supplies, so try to gather more food to appease them.”
“Yes, yes, you’ve thought of everything; we’ll prepare imdiately!”
The Thirty-Six Clan Leaders agreed and acted swiftly.
Soon, in less than two hours, a large temporary clinic made of stone appeared in the wilderness. The Thirty-Six Clan Leaders deployed their strongest forces to maintain order, while Yusuf sat inside, eating blood replenishing foods and healing people, all while researching the plague’s origin and developing a cure.
About seventeen days later, after saving countless lives, Yusuf finally developed a prescription and ordered the Thirty-Six Clans to quickly brew the dicine. Everyone, sick or not, should drink a bowl and spread the word about personal hygiene.
Once the prescription was distributed, Yusuf collapsed to the ground, losing consciousness!
Countless Immortal Citizens, hearing of the Divine Doctor Savior’s collapse, gathered, surrounding the clinic completely. They all knelt in prayer, creating an awe-inspiring scene!

Many Immortal Citizens are petitioning to build a temple in your honor, to worship you as a divine spirit!” Cecilia Jacobs and the Thirty-Six Clan Leaders all knelt, as the proposal for the temple was sothing they had discussed, believing Yusuf’s deeds deserved divine status!
“No need for that; divinity doesn’t interest . I didn’t have any ulterior motives when saving people. By the way, Cecilia Jacobs, have you read my lengthy petition?”
“I have, I have, and we’ve devised a plan to implent it, preparing to announce it to the world.”
“Good, quickly carry it out. I’ll go see the refugees.”
