187: Chapter 187: Annihilation [Seeking Monthly Pass] 187: Chapter 187: Annihilation [Seeking Monthly Pass] The palm grove was pitch black, despite the fine weather, because the palm trees were too tall and dense, blocking out the moonlight and the stars.
Yusuf Zuck moved forward cautiously, his telekinesis leading the way.
His eyes couldn’t see beyond a dozen ters, but his telekinesis could cover everything within a fifteen-ter radius.
About seven or eight minutes in, lights and voices appeared ahead, causing Yusuf to slow down and seek out obstacles to move forward discreetly.
“Phew,” after another twenty or thirty ters or so, Yusuf saw the source of the light up ahead.
It was a row of wooden houses, about a dozen in size, adorned with colorful fairy lights and bright incandescent bulbs illuminating the surroundings.
The voices ca from a corridor bridge, where a group of Caucasians and Africans were grilling barbecue and drinking beer.
Their guns were all propped up together.
The small group, totaling seven, all wore standard camouflage uniforms that made them indistinguishable from soldiers.
Yusuf continued to approach, and due to the presence of incandescent light, he also lay down and crawled forward.
At this ti, he still hadn’t used “Invisible” a second ti because he didn’t want to waste it.
Perhaps due to the outer sentries, these people weren’t very vigilant, and Yusuf, being extrely cautious, quickly reached beneath the corridor bridge.
Once he was under the bridge, his telekinesis again covered everything within a fifteen-ter radius with “Thought Overlay.”
“Got them!”
“Phew,” as soon as the telekinesis extended, Yusuf imdiately noticed Mia and Ross’s mother inside one of the wooden houses.
Both were chained by their hands and feet, connected to a large steel pipe that ran through the room, resembling a water pipe but thicker.
Both were locked onto it.
No matter how skilled Ross’s mother was, she couldn’t break such a steel pipe, especially with her hands and feet chained.
Aside from the two of them, there was no one else in their room, but outside the room stood a brown-skinned woman leaning on the railing smoking a cigarette.
Moreover, Yusuf also discovered people in several other houses.
One room contained a man and a woman engaged in primal activities, another person was on the phone, and including the seven eating barbecue, there was a total of fourteen people.
Right, there were a total of fourteen people here.
If the sentinel outside were included, that made fifteen, and Yusuf believed there could be sentries in other directions as well, but he estimated there would be no more than twenty in total.
“Not more than twenty!” Yusuf didn’t move further.
Mia indeed needed to be rescued, but he couldn’t rush in blindly to do so.
He had to take out the periter first, otherwise, if he was discovered on his way to Mia’s room, a barrage of bullets would take them all down.
“Fourteen, I’ll kill these fourteen first!” Yusuf exhaled softly.
Since he had co this far today, he was prepared to kill, and besides, these people deserved it because none of them were remotely good.
“Fourteen people…” Yusuf quickly formulated a plan in his mind, a plan to eliminate all fourteen.
“Hmm, I’ll take out seven first, that way I cut the enemy numbers in half!” Yusuf decided to eliminate the seven above first.
He closed his eyes slightly, and his telekinesis surged toward the “Blood Beads” deep in his brain.
“Phew,” when a sharp pain hit, his body vanished into thin air.
And in that instant, Yusuf placed his hands together and flipped onto the corridor bridge with a sorsault.
No one saw him, no one noticed anything amiss.
Yusuf, having leaped onto the corridor bridge, quickly walked over to the gun rack beside the fire, picked up a “Long Spear,” unlocked the safety, and pressed it against one man’s forehead.
The man didn’t know what was happening but felt a cool sensation on his forehead and, having drunk a bit too much, started speaking English and reaching for his forehead.
In this critical mont, Yusuf pulled the trigger!
With a “bang,” the drunkard’s head burst open in an instant, and the gunshot alard everyone on the corridor bridge; so drew sidearms, others lunged for their “Long Spears.”
Not far away, others who hadn’t joined the barbecue also rushed out.
“Tat tat tat,” without a mont’s hesitation, Yusuf stood in front of these people and began firing at close range.
Although he wasn’t very familiar with firearms, who hasn’t seen a pig run even if they haven’t eaten pork?
When playing CrossFire, Yusuf had encountered such guns, which had two modes: single-shot and rapid-fire.
After shooting one person in the head with a single-shot, he switched to rapid-fire mode and shot at the remaining six rcenaries.
“Tatata~” When the hail of bullets was spent, those six panicked drunkards had all been turned into sieves, their flesh blurred as they lay atop the corridor bridge.
At that mont, a stray bullet whizzed past Yusuf Zuck’s ear, causing an excruciating pain in his eardrum.
“Tatata~ go, go, go~” The rcenaries in the other directions, although they hadn’t seen him personally, were still firing indiscriminately in his direction.
Yusuf Zuck was startled into a roll, discarding his gun before swiftly picking up a Long Spear and jumping off the corridor bridge.
Foreigners from other directions were shouting sothing, seemingly with screams of disbelief as well.
Carrying the Long Spear, Yusuf Zuck quickly approached the female rcenary outside of Mia’s room.
Sensing sothing, she spun around and began to fire imdiately.
But since she couldn’t see Yusuf Zuck, all her bullets missed their mark.
Yusuf Zuck, standing to her side, about five ters away, pulled the trigger.
“Pop pop pop~” A pull of the trigger released six or seven bullets, each of them piercing into the woman’s chest.
After firing his shot, Yusuf Zuck quickly rolled to the ground.
He might be invisible, but the Long Spear spat out flas when firing bullets, revealing his position to the enemies.
The remaining rcenaries continued to scream, most likely yelling sothing like “What the hell?” However, Yusuf Zuck paid them no heed.
At that mont, he was extrely calm; though he had killed, he had no other thoughts in his mind but one, to kill them all.
Without the muzzle flash, the remaining rcenaries couldn’t locate him.
Yet Yusuf Zuck could clearly detect their hiding spots.
Even the one who had been on the phone and had jumped out the window, seemingly preparing to escape, couldn’t hide from his sight.
Yusuf Zuck wouldn’t let anyone get away, so he crawled under the corridor bridge and moved toward the rcenary who seed to be trying to escape.
This rcenary appeared to be the leader.
He held only a handgun and took deep breaths while occasionally looking back.
When Yusuf Zuck ca within two ters of him, he remained undetected.
“Huh~” The muzzle was pressed against the back of his head, and the rcenary tensed up, babbling pleadingly as if begging for his life.
Yusuf Zuck inwardly cursed.
He decided he needed to learn so English, as he would have to deal with foreigners sooner or later.
How would he cope if he couldn’t even understand them and got deceived?
“Sayonara~ Bang~” Yusuf Zuck quipped in Japanese as he pulled the trigger, instantly blasting the rcenary leader’s head open.
Simultaneously, he rolled to the ground as a flurry of bullets landed where he had just been.
A sniper had already positioned itself on the rooftop.
“Five left.” Yusuf Zuck tid it; not even a minute had passed, so he still had two minutes of invisibility left.
He sprinted toward one of the rooms, for inside there was a man and a woman hiding under the window.
As Yusuf Zuck ran past, he fired a burst of bullets through the wall panels; by the ti the volley ceased, the ill-fated couple had t their maker.
Three remaining.
Yusuf Zuck discarded his Long Spear, drew his pistol, and suddenly, the rcenaries hidden in the corners shouted out, raising their hands and walking forward, yelling sothing.
They surrendered, facing an adversary like a ghost, they knew their fate was sealed – death.
So, they wisely gave up resistance with an act of surrender!
Yusuf Zuck didn’t pay attention to the two individuals who surrendered on the corridor bridge and quickly made his way to the exterior, where two more infiltrators were situated, one of which was the sentry he had encountered earlier.
If they were all back, then it was ti for an annihilation!
