However, fortunately, Transient City remained unscathed, due to the heavy-handed rule of the Longevity Empire, swiftly eliminating the roots of chaos, making the city and its surroundings remarkably peaceful, with gates wide open!
Add to that, Transient City was not situated at the center of the disaster!
The so-called collapse of heaven and earth doesn’t an the whole world or a whole plane shatters, but rather that disasters affected a certain mountain, sea, or region. It’s akin to pulling on one part and the whole system responding, just a few more disasters than usual.
It’s just like when Yusuf Zuck was still a mortal living in the north and a quake occurred in the south, there was no way for the north to feel it. Now it’s the sa, simply more disasters but not reached the point of total collapse yet!
This is just the beginning, like geological shifts that gradually stir the whole scene. What’s happening now is rely the tremors Yusuf Zuck caused whilst traveling.
For an old epoch to begin collapsing, it might take thousands, if not tens of thousands of years written off, devouring everything bit by bit, assimilating everything, eradicating everything!
And just at the mont when the ministers of the Longevity Empire in Transient City were intensifying their arrangents for the situation, Demi Garrett appeared once more in the imperial palace, coming to find Yusuf Zuck!
"Where’s Yusuf Zuck?" Yosef Dale asked in the rear garden of the palace, knowing these days that the sky was undergoing strange changes, fearing that the Longevity Empire wouldn’t withstand external forces, hence, had returned specifically to hold the fort, proving his loyalty and friendship!
Despite his jesting manner and occasional foolishness, he treated friends with sincerity, never betraying them. Although coarse in speech, he harbored a warm heart!
"What are you doing here? Get out, get out! Don’t you know seeing you brings bad luck?" Yosef Dale said, glaring.
"Enough nonsense, where’s Yusuf Zuck? I have important business with him!" Demi Garrett replied coldly.
"How the heck should I know? It’s been eighteen damn years since he left! Eighteen years, leaving the Longevity Empire behind. If it weren’t for being here, the Longevity Empire would’ve crumbled long ago!" Yosef Dale grumbled, his dissatisfaction apparent, seeing Yusuf Zuck as too unreliable, ditching his responsibilities as an emperor only to vanish!
"Eighteen years without returning?" Demi Garrett inhaled sharply: "Do you know where he went?"
"If I knew, I would’ve dragged him back here already, but can’t you predict or calculate where he is? Figure it out, and I’ll go fetch him!"
Demi Garrett shot Yosef Dale a glance and retorted, "If I could predict where he was, do you think I’d need to co here to find him?"
"What’s happened? Tell about it? Earthquakes and landslides everywhere, disasters cropping up, rumors spreading that the epoch is about to end, the old will go, the new will co. Do you think, given my current state, my Cultivation Level, I can survive into the next epoch and beco an epoch elder?"
"You won’t die," Demi Garrett shook his head. Yosef Dale was his friend, too, and Yusuf Zuck’s friend also, so the two of them won’t allow Yosef Dale to perish!
Passing through this epoch safely is not a matter of concern; the arrival of an epoch does not an everyone perishes, besides those who receive fortune, like he and Yosef Dale, can withstand it.
And surviving it makes one an epoch elder.
The heavens do not offer a path to extinction, and will not erase everything without a trace.
"So, why are you looking for him?" Yosef Dale asked curiously.
"Nurous epoch elders are likely to converge on the Transit Realm within months!"
"Huh?" Yosef Dale was dumbfounded.
"Why are they coming here? Is there sothing here like milk or a mother?" Yosef Dale asked, alard.
"The Transit Realm is the central point of the next epoch. When the real epoch destruction arrives, the epoch power here will be the greatest, presenting the highest danger. However, in danger lies opportunity. If one can absorb enough epoch power, they will grow stronger."
"Moreover, when the ti cos, all universes in this realm will automatically transfer those with miraculous fortunes to here, so even if the epoch elders can’t weather the epoch wave, they can still hunt and absorb those who possess these fortunes!"
"Then why are you searching for Yusuf Zuck to tell him the epoch elders are coming here? What’s the point?" Yosef Dale asked, puzzled.
"This epoch transition is vastly different from previous ones, for there’s already been a prophetic sign of an Epoch Son appearing, and the Epoch Son will beco the progenitor of the next epoch. Whoever swallows or rges with the Epoch Son will be the ruler of the next epoch!"
"So, are you suggesting Yusuf Zuck is the Epoch Son?"
"I’m unsure of who it is!" Demi Garrett shook his head and said: "Before the epoch transition, many epoch seeds will surface, true or false, but there’s only one real Epoch Son. Who that is still needs affirming!"
