At the sa ti, at the pyramid, the purple light shields of the six super experts had already connected, forming a hexagon. Their hand movents were getting faster and faster, repeatedly casting seals onto the pyramid.
Yusuf Zuck quietly ran back, but those people seed not to notice. Their foreheads bulged with blue veins, fully concentrating.
Yusuf knew they had reached the most critical mont, so he was neither distracted nor disturbed. Perhaps he had already been noticed, but they didn’t have ti to deal with him.
With a "squeak", as Yusuf curiously watched the actions of the six, the pyramid suddenly emitted a squeaking sound. Imdiately, a portal forcibly opened on one side of the pyramid’s base, and as soon as it opened, blinding golden light burst out, piercingly bright!
"In!" The six roared and instantly transford into six streams of light, rushing in. Yusuf also knew that the opportunity must not be missed. As soon as the six rushed into the Golden Door, he also transford into Parasitic Light and dashed in!
"Whoosh~" He clung to the shoelace of the last person. Parasitic Light, almost unnoticeable, so he stayed completely still.
"Bang~" The door closed. The six turned around, and the white-bearded elder said, "I just sensed an energy fluctuation coming, it’s that little guy back again!"
"He didn’t co in with us, did he?" the woman asked.
The six glanced at each other, seemingly scanning each other with Divine Consciousness, then shook their heads simultaneously, "He probably didn’t co in. The Golden Light Gate closed so quickly, he might not have made it."
"Even if he did co in, it’s impossible for us not to notice, right?"
"Hehe, an interesting kid, with so skills!"
"Alright, no more talk. This ti, we’ve entered the Sky Tomb. We must get to the third layer no matter what."
"Indeed, opportunities are becoming fewer and fewer."
"Let’s discuss then." The six didn’t rush further in but gathered in a small circle to discuss their exploration of the pyramid!
From their conversation, Yusuf learned that this pyramid has three layers. They had been here before, but only entered two layers, never the third!
Also, the leader among these six is the white-bearded elder, astonishingly nad Colt Higgins.
Then there are Javier, Jina rritt, and Rowena Santiago, the woman called Ulrica, and another nad Desmond.
In total six, with the sa cultivation level, only Colt Higgins obtained the Way earlier, considered the boss of the six.
"Two passages, one on each side. So I’ll take Ulrica and Javier on the left, Desmond will take Jina and Rowena on the right. This ti, our main goal is the third layer, so let’s not waste ti exploring the first two layers!"
"Understood."
"Be careful, everyone. Reunite at the third layer’s entrance."
"Take care!"
The six split into two teams. Yusuf didn’t understand why they didn’t go together, why they went left and right. Could it be that both sides lead to the third layer?
They didn’t explain, so Yusuf naturally didn’t know the reason.
He was with Desmond’s team, which included Jina and Rowena. The three walked forward from the gleaming portal and saw a wall. This wall had passages on both sides. Colt and the woman had entered the left side, so Desmond’s three continued on the right side!
They didn’t fly but walked step by step, heavy-footed, without a word.
Yusuf observed the environnt of the passage. It had golden walls, a golden ceiling, and a golden-paved floor. This gold was very hard, likely the sa as outside, impenetrable by force.
Simultaneously, Yusuf felt this passage might be maze-like, frequent turns, and many dead ends ahead. Upon hitting a dead end, they could only take a fork!
The three had been here before, so although they weren’t fast, they moved with ease. Soon, they reached another area, filled with doors, so opened, so not!
The three didn’t explore those doors but continued walking a bit and stopped because ahead in the corridor were dense Golden Ground Spikes, impossible to step down.
The three were prepared and pulled out door-sized boards, placing them vertically over the spikes, cautiously treading over them, seemingly afraid to exert force.
Yusuf was imnsely curious, seeming that flying wasn’t allowed here, and feet couldn’t touch the spikes. Otherwise, the three wouldn’t use such a clumsy thod.
Fortunately, the spiked segnt wasn’t long. After about four hours, the three safely passed.
But after they passed, Yusuf saw the next corridor filled with refracted red light, like red flashlight beams, crisscrossing. While not extrely dense, the gaps were minimal!
The three stood at the entrance of this corridor, with extrely tense expressions!
Yusuf felt like encountering high-tech safeguards, reminiscent of scenes from so heist movies he had watched.
"This stretch is the hardest to traverse. Be careful not to fall here!" Desmond took a deep breath, stepped into the corridor, his body twisting strangely, stretching and shrinking as he moved forward.
Rowena and Jina were the sa, nervously twisting their bodies, bending and stepping.
Yusuf was curious whether these rays could harm these three powerful beings. Otherwise, why would they trouble themselves so much!
He was really curious about the red rays’ power!
Also thought of letting Rowena try it.
He was now on Rowena’s shoelace, so if he suddenly acted, Rowena would indeed be hit.
But he shook his head at the thought. These people hadn’t shown much malice towards him, no life-threatening hostility, so there was no need to harm them. Besides, he needed to ask them about the stone child, so making enemies of them would be a mortal enmity. He admitted he wasn’t their match, any of them, so he could only watch quietly.
This part was incredibly difficult. The three took four hours to complete it, but Yusuf also saw Jina’s sleeve burnt with a small hole by the red rays, Desmond’s hair singed a strand, although their bodies weren’t hard, the rays seed unstoppable.
After passing safely, stairs leading upwards appeared, signaling the second layer.
The three entered the second layer, sat down first, ate so dry food, drank so wine, chatted idly, then continued forward a hundred ters and turned a corner!
After turning, Yusuf saw a vast hollow area with a spiral staircase laid against the golden wall ascending. The bottom of the hollow was a black abyss, emanating an ancient fierce aura, as if a primordial beast lurked within, sending chills down the spine with just a glance!
