Uncle Moses handled matters very prudently. A party of hundreds booked an inn, with Yusuf Zuck and his family on the second floor, while the first floor was occupied by family guards and servants, with sentries posted outside and on the roof, allowing no strangers to approach.
A hundred family guards, all ticulously selected from Ray manor, every one of them at the Eternal Life Fifth Level.
The sixth level is a hurdle, so the Ray family has a large number at the Eternal Life Fifth Level, with many unable to transcend to the Eternal Level Six!
These one hundred at the Eternal Life Fifth Level were elite soldiers, adept in both group combat and solo duels.
Black Seven and the Golden Protectors had taken human form and were dining on the second floor, with only three Golden Lions; two lay at the door, and one lay on the rooftop.
Yusuf Zuck had once said, as punishnt, that they were never to transform into human form again, thus the three had to serve as gatekeeping lions.
However, Ruth Wilcox and others were kind-hearted, and after consulting Yusuf Zuck, they allowed the three to transform and co upstairs.
After all, they are formidable ancient beasts at the Eternal Life Seventh Level, and it is improper to treat them like watchdogs.
"Hmph, your mistress is kind-hearted, consider yourselves lucky," Yusuf Zuck snorted.
"Thank you, mistresses..." The three great beasts bowed down deeply, their eyes reddened with gratitude!
In truth, Yusuf Zuck did this deliberately, knowing that Ruth Wilcox and others pleading on their behalf would earn their undying loyalty in protection later.
They sat down at a table, beginning to toast Black Seven and the Golden Protectors.
As they were eating, Uncle Moses hurriedly ca up from downstairs, walked to Yusuf Zuck’s side, and whispered, "Young master, soone outside seeks an audience."
"Soone seeks an audience? I don’t know anyone here, why see ?" Yusuf Zuck asked curiously.
"They didn’t state their purpose, but it seems they have an artifact to present to you, the old servant dared not decide, so he sought your instruction!"
"Offer an artifact? What the...?" Yusuf Zuck shook his head, surprised that soone was trying to curry favor with him.
"Haha, they probably seek to align with you," Ayden Ac said with a faint smile. "In Patrick Ruiz, after many gain fa, there are followers who co to them, then beco family retainers. The retainers must swear a blood oath, sotis even sign a Soul Contract with their master. It’s a ceremony; once accepted, their lives and their entire families’ lives are tied to the master. If the master prospers, they prosper; if the master perishes, they perish. I’m sure Uncle Moses understands this well!"
Uncle Moses nodded, "Indeed, there are many family retainers who followed the ancestors in those early years, but accepting retainers should be considered carefully, not just anyone should be accepted." Uncle Moses reminded.
"So what should I do now? et or not et?" Yusuf Zuck played around with the idea.
"The more retainers, the larger the clan will beco. The Family Head cannot always handle every minor affair, just like when you were the Immortal King; having ministers manage matters while you slept, secluded, or played outside wasn’t an issue," Ayden Ac laughed. "It depends on whether you want to establish a place in Patrick Ruiz. If you want to beco a major clan, then recruit!"
"They know you currently have no roots, no foundation, no territory. Following you now ans they beco your strongest aides. As your clan grows stronger in the future, their status will also rise!"
"Every clan rose this way. They see your bright future and are determined to follow, so it wouldn’t hurt to et them, see their character, and check the artifact they present. If it’s worthless, then just send them away."
"Not suitable!" Yusuf Zuck imdiately shook his head, "Sending people away because their gift is unworthy isn’t the act of a true man. Uncle Moses, go and let them know; tell the three of them that I don’t need retainers. With all my ministers not brought to Patrick Ruiz, why would I need retainers here? A massive bird stretched over countless miles, its end invisible, circling the sky. The bird seed unaware of the one recording, so it flew to rest on an island, which was also imnse and barren. As it landed, its whole being covered the island.
Then its feathers transford, with so turning into trees, others into flowers and plants, and so into mounds and cliffs, and so forth.
Finally, under the record of the Crystal Ball, the island beca a natural paradise, where the bird was unseen, and there was no sight of people, only the breathtaking beauty of a fairyland landscape!
Everyone was moved, especially Ayden Ac, whose arms trembled.
Then the scene shifted, the island transford again, with all flowers, trees, and stone retracting, as the bird soared into the sky, disappearing in an instant!
Soon after, the person holding the Crystal Ball swiftly approached the island, which bore a massive crater. From the top of the pit, looking down, there was a giant golden egg, larger than a courtyard, shining and emanating faint energy waves!
"Quick, run, it’s coming back!"
The image ended there, everyone still lost in astonishnt.
"Is that a Golden Seagull?" Yusuf Zuck swallowed and asked.
"Not a Golden Seagull, the Golden Seagull is much larger than this bird, which spans at most two hundred miles. This bird is nad the Golden Seagull, a close kin to the Golden Seagull, a rare entity in the heavens and earth, seemingly appearing only in the Ancient Era, thought extinct in modern tis. Who would have expected such a Golden Seagull demon to exist in this world?" Ayden Ac took a deep breath and said, "This is a formidable demon, accepting it would be a significant aid. These retainers seeking allegiance are indeed extraordinary."
"Mr. Ac is right, this is an ancient mythical bird, the Golden Seagull. Believed extinct, master, this demon is not to be discarded, likely possessing an Eternal Life Ninth Layer level, plus that giant egg—it’s a major opportunity!" Uncle Moses was also extrely excited, seemingly waiting for Yusuf Zuck’s command to go catch the great demon.
Yusuf Zuck was moved. If... if he captured this great demon and fed it a drop of Dew of Creation, would it beco a Half-Step Creation?

Yusuf Zuck was stunned for a mont, everyone was. Kenzo Ray and his daughters were confused, while Ayden Ac was puzzled, yet Ruth Wilcox and others nodded in deep agreent.
The creature was free, without offense. Should we take its ho and capture the mother and child?
