Now reading: Chapter 59 - 59 59 Sudden Uprising from Invisible Security Guard, a Urban novel by Peach Has Sold Out.

59: Chapter 59: Sudden Uprising 59: Chapter 59: Sudden Uprising The gun was real, the kind with the safety off, and when it pressed against Yusuf Zuck’s forehead, he felt the chill of the tal.

The woman held the gun with a steady hand, as if she did such things frequently.

Yusuf Zuck didn’t dare to move, and Jero Hart, sitting in the back, also made no move, for at monts like these, even a small wrong signal could an that either Yusuf Zuck or himself would surely die in the quiet of the early morning.

Five n rushed out of the van, two opened the back doors and dragged Jero Hart out, two others opened the driver side door and pulled out Yusuf Zuck, and they quickly tied both Yusuf and Jero’s hands with a rope.

They were professionals, tying them up swiftly and skillfully.

As for the fifth person, he took over the driver’s seat, put the car in reverse, and sped away from the scene.

Everything was planned, with clearly designated roles and executed in an orderly fashion.

“Big sis, don’t shoot, please don’t shoot, let’s talk, we can talk, I’ll cooperate with you all, okay?” Yusuf Zuck pleaded whenever he had the chance.

“Get in the car!” The middle-aged woman also got into the van and sat in the passenger seat.

She turned around, the gun still pointed at Yusuf Zuck and Wen Shuai, while the others continued to guard them.

Jero Hart was well aware that these people were after Yusuf Zuck; he was only implicated by association.

At the sa ti, he was very curious about whom Yusuf Zuck had offended to the point of facing a gun.

And indeed, Yusuf Zuck was also desperately trying to figure things out.

He had so guesses, but he couldn’t be sure who these people were.

He had two suspicions: one was that Otis Quinn from the capital had sent people for revenge, but Otis was just a gangster, he couldn’t possibly arrange for people to co to Shanghai so quickly to capture him, right?

Otis didn’t have that power, so if it was him, it seed a bit far-fetched.

And the second guess was the Nash family, the powerful Nash family, the one Ruth Wilcox sought to please.

The Nashes had been looking for him all along, but he had always avoided them.

However, if the Nashes wanted him, they wouldn’t likely resort to using a gun, so this guess also seed a bit far-fetched.

“Big sis, are you after money or sothing else?

If it’s money, that A6 I sold just now was worth several hundred thousand.

I don’t have money.

I’m just a lowly driver, and this guy is just a junior doctor.

We both work for others!” After driving for a while, Yusuf Zuck started to speak.

After thinking it over, he realized these people must be after sothing and didn’t intend to kill him; if they wanted him dead, why tie him up?

Why not just shoot him and save the trouble?

So at that mont, he knew that even if he spoke out of turn, they wouldn’t kill him, at most he might get hit a couple of tis.

“Shut up, damn it!” Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, the two n beside him delivered a fierce punch to his solar plexus.

Yusuf Zuck pretended to be in pain and bent over, then fell silent.

Jero Hart, on the other hand, was very calm, still and silent, not asking or rushing.

After driving for approximately half an hour, the masked n blindfolded him and Jero Hart to prevent them from recognizing the route.

Soon, it seed like the car left the city and the ride beca bumpy.

No one spoke along the way, not the middle-aged woman, nor any of the masked n.

After more than two hours of travel, the vehicle finally ca to a gentle stop, and then Yusuf Zuck and Jero Hart were escorted out.

During the ride, Yusuf Zuck had been using telekinesis to observe his surroundings.

Although blindfolded, he noted the route and road signs along the way in his mind.

They were far from the Shanghai city area, in a town called Shepherd Family Village.

They entered a private distillery, a spacious place with the distinct sll of a ferntation in the air.

“Why did you bring back two?” At that mont, a voice ca through, and when Yusuf Zuck reached out with telekinesis, he found a man about forty years old, bespectacled with gold-rimd glasses, short, and seemingly frail.

“I felt it was the right mont to act and didn’t want to miss it, so I brought back two,” the middle-aged woman said with a shrug.

“Do you know what identity he has?” the man with glasses asked again.

“I don’t know,” the middle-aged woman shook her head.

“Interrogate him.

That one called Yusuf Zuck, lock him up first and wait for soone from the capital to co,” the man with glasses said and then turned to leave, getting into a rcedes-Benz.

“Let’s go.” A group of four n and won escorted Yusuf Zuck and Jero Hart, with the woman following behind, into a large warehouse, which was then closed off with a large door.

Yusuf Zuck was pushed into a small room without windows, and then the door was locked.

With a “snap,” just after Yusuf Zuck was pushed into the room, he broke free from the ropes binding his hands, imdiately tore off the black cloth over his head, and looked intently at the iron door of the room.

The iron door was a kind of security door, and it was the only way out of the room.

Upon inspection, Yusuf Zuck gauged that even if he could break through the iron door, it would likely be quite challenging.

“Hmm?

It’s starting!” Yusuf Zuck’s telekinesis reached out to the warehouse.

The woman sat on a sofa and began to read a newspaper, while the hood was removed from Jero Hart’s head.

Two n stood behind him, one on each side, and another two sat across from him.

Four people were there to interrogate Jero Hart.

Jero Hart squinted awkwardly, quickly glancing at the woman.

The woman paid no attention to Jero Hart, as if the interrogation was none of her business, and where her gun had gone was anyone’s guess.

“Now, answer whatever we ask you,” one of the n in black demanded.

“What’s your na?

Where did you fly back from?”

“So, you’ve been following us since the airport?” Jero Hart said in surprise.

The man in black swore, “Cut the crap.

Hurry up, what’s your na, and where did you fly back from?”

“I flew back from the United States.

As for my na, even if I told you, you wouldn’t know it!” Jero Hart laughed.

“You asking for a beating?” the man glared, “Hit him.”

With a “whoosh,” one of the n restraining Jero raised his arm in a round arc towards Jero’s face.

If that slap landed, it would most likely leave Jero bleeding profusely from his nose and mouth.

Yusuf Zuck, who stood inside the small room, was taken aback.

Jero Hart was the man Ms.

Wilcox had asked him to pick up.

If he returned all bruised, how could Yusuf account to Ms.

Wilcox?

“Damn it, I’ll risk it!” Yusuf Zuck cursed, then took a deep breath, ready to forcefully break through the door.

However, just as he was about to kick the security door in front of him, he suddenly sensed through his telekinesis that the man who was about to strike Jero had been “thud” shot straight out.

Then, Yusuf Zuck saw that the man standing to Jero’s right also curved his body and fell to the ground, convulsing and not getting up.

With a “swoosh,” Jero sprang up, moving quickly toward the middle-aged woman.

By that ti, his hands were free, and the ropes that had bound them had disappeared without a trace.

Yusuf Zuck stopped in the little room, his eyes filled with stars.

Could it be that Jero, the young doctor, not only knew Qigong but was also skilled in martial arts and quite formidable?

“But…

danger!” Suddenly, Yusuf Zuck’s hair stood on end because the middle-aged woman on the sofa reacted very quickly too – her gun was already aid at Jero.

“Jero, look out!” Yusuf Zuck scread while lifting his foot to kick at the security door in front of him.

With a “thump,” the gun went off, and the middle-aged woman fired decisively.
