605: Chapter 604: Everyone’s Here 605: Chapter 604: Everyone’s Here The torrential rain interrupted the conversation between Yusuf Zuck and Elijah Burch, and at the sa ti, it also roused Ayden Ac, who was lying on the ground.
However, when Ayden Ac woke up and saw that seven heads had been laid out in front of Yusuf Zuck, he couldn’t help but sit in the rain quietly.
Yusuf Zuck let the rain drench his body as well, motionless and undodging, his gaze coldly fixed on Ayden Ac.
In truth, he knew he wasn’t calm enough, and that he was too prone to killing, but he had no choice, because he didn’t want to die, so that ant others had to.
Elijah Burch’s black robe surprisingly had the function of repelling rain; it was as if there was a layer of grease on it, as the downpour did not drench her black robe at all.
Before daybreak, that patch of dark clouds cleared away, giving rise to a sunrise in the east.
“Soone is coming, two of them!” said Yusuf Zuck suddenly, opening his eyes just as the first ray of morning light struck the valley.
“I don’t see anyone!” Elijah Burch shook her head.
She possessed Divine Sense too, but she hadn’t detected any trace of people.
“Thirteen kiloters away, a bamboo forest, one male, one female, the man at the Foundation Establishnt level, the woman without any cultivation level.
Go and bring the man’s head!” Yusuf Zuck commanded indifferently!
“What?” both Elijah Burch and Ayden Ac exclaid as they abruptly looked up; Yusuf Zuck could see things thirteen kiloters away?
This…
this was too unbelievable!
“Alright, wait for .” Elijah Burch seed to have completely thrown in her lot with Yusuf Zuck; for the Dragon Ball, well, she might as well deal with these bastards.
She leapt up like an arrow released from a bow, vanishing in the blink of an eye!
“How many people from your Heaven One Sect ca this ti?” Yusuf Zuck then turned to ask Ayden Ac.
“Six,” Ayden Ac replied, pale-faced.
“Oh,” Yusuf Zuck nodded, saying nothing more.
Ayden Ac opened his mouth: “Please, young master, don’t kill them, I am willing to go through fire and water.”
“We’ll see when the ti cos,” Yusuf Zuck shook his head, not giving Ayden Ac any promise.
To spare Ayden Ac was already an unusual act of rcy, because Ayden Ac was clever enough to understand the situation, and besides, Yusuf Zuck had kept him alive for a reason—he wanted to understand everything about the Dragon Gate World, to ask in detail when he had the ti.
Ayden Ac made no further pleas, as he knew he had no right to plead.
anwhile, Yusuf Zuck saw in his telekinesis Ariel Higgins confronting that Foundation Establishnt cultivator; it seed she didn’t engage in combat but went straight up to him and chopped off his head with a single stroke.
As for the woman without any cultivation level, Ariel Higgins didn’t bother with her, because, obviously, this was a mundane woman ant to be taken away.
Yusuf Zuck was quite satisfied with Ariel Higgins’s shift; this demon, eager to beco human, would do anything.
Monts later, Ariel Higgins returned with a head, but as soon as she arrived, Yusuf Zuck sent her out again, as soone else was approaching from another direction…
Ariel Higgins seed to have beco numb to it all; she, the boss of the Dragon group, now followed Yusuf Zuck’s orders completely.
She had boarded the ship and thus couldn’t get off; and therefore, she had to keep going.
Throughout the day, the dozen or so people who converged on this place all died by Ariel Higgins’s blade, including even two mbers of Ayden Ac’s sect.
Yusuf Zuck did not lift a finger the entire day.
Ariel Higgins was very powerful; she was at the State of Great Fetal Breathing, so none of the people who ca over were her match.
Yusuf Zuck sat in the valley for three straight days, and for three days Ariel Higgins was wielded by him like a weapon; during this ti, she killed more than forty enemies, and a large pile of heads had accumulated in front of Yusuf Zuck.
anwhile, six demolition experts had already arrived at the base of the valley’s steep cliffs.
Their hearts were strong enough that, aside from the initial shock upon arrival that drained the color from their faces, they soon regained their composure.
The people Ariel Higgins had recruited, those she sent, were definitely ones with stories to tell.
So, over the past few days, these six had been toying with explosives behind Yusuf Zuck’s back.
On the fourteenth day of the eighth lunar month, just after ten o’clock at night, Yusuf Zuck suddenly stood up.
Ayden Ac, too, was startled and Elijah Burch also stood up.
“Forty-three plus twenty makes sixty-three.
Ninety-nine minus sixty-three leaves thirty-six.
Huh, about everyone has arrived!” In his telekinesis, Yusuf Zuck discovered that roughly sixty people seed to be heading their way.
The reason there were over sixty people was that half of them possessed no cultivation level, while the other half did.
“They’ve all arrived?” Elijah Burch took a deep breath.
These people were coming here to their deaths.
“They’ve all arrived.” Yusuf Zuck checked again carefully, finding that there were thirty-six people with cultivation levels, and another thirty-six without.
Every person was bringing soone along, be they n, won, or even a few children, including infants from among the hostages.
“We won’t be needing you anymore.
Your role will be to blow up the Dragon Gate Passage,” said Yusuf Zuck, knowing that at midnight on the fifteenth of the eighth lunar month, which was tonight at twelve, was when the passage would open.
“Okay,” Elijah Burch replied.
“Only success is permitted, not failure.
If we fail, then…
everything you’ve done before would have been in vain.
Do you understand?” Yusuf Zuck said, looking into Elijah Burch’s eyes.
“I understand.
Success is the only option, failure is not permitted.
I won’t allow failure because if I fail, I will die!” Elijah Burch snorted.
She had killed so many people from the Dragon Gate, tying her fate with that of Yusuf Zuck.
“Ayden Ac, and you as well,” Yusuf Zuck continued, turning to Ayden Ac.
“Soon, you’ll help with the rescue!”
“Rescue?
What do you an?” both Ayden Ac and Elijah Burch asked, puzzled.
“Your people, they’ve brought mortals here, so are children, others infants.
They kidnap people without a second thought for the families and loved ones left behind!”
“That’s right Elijah Burch,” Yusuf Zuck asked, “I always heard about children being kidnapped.
Is it the Dragon Gate people doing it?”
“Indeed, such cases have occurred frequently.
There are so many that so parents never manage to find their lost children in their entire lifeti!” Elijah Burch nodded in agreent.
“Therefore, such people deserve to die.
Even by the law, they should be executed.
They are despicable,” Yusuf Zuck said angrily.
“There won’t be any in the future.
With the passage gone and the two worlds forever separated, it’s also a good thing,” Elijah Burch suddenly sighed.
Yusuf Zuck laughed.
“It’s indeed a great thing.”
At that mont, Ayden Ac suddenly spoke up, “I will do my best to save them.”
“Yes, if you save them, that’s a ritorious deed.
In the future, do more good, perform benevolent acts, accumulate rit, and there will be good rewards!” Yusuf Zuck patted Ayden Ac on the shoulder.
“What about you?
Why not accumulate so rit for yourself instead of such slaughter?” Ayden Ac asked.
“I seem to recall telling you that in my eyes, they are not human.
Thus, even if I were to accumulate rit, it wouldn’t be on their behalf.
Anyway, here they co,” Yusuf Zuck replied.
As he said this, through telekinesis, he noticed that the group who had just entered the valley had spotted them and were now rushing over in anger and astonishnt.
The fastest among them were Yufei, the bald monk, the malicious nun, and the several experts Yusuf Zuck had seen that day at the Wengquan Mountain Villa.
They had all co, and Yusuf Zuck had been waiting just for them!
