67: 67.

Child Care 67: 67.

Child Care Actually, sotis you don’t need to use hands or language to slap soone’s face; often, a subconscious action is enough to make the other person’s cheeks echo with resounding slaps.

Ruth Wilcox had no intention of bickering with that fat woman or showing off her wealth.

When she saw the customized Santos watch, she was ecstatic, to say the least, because such a watch wasn’t sothing you could buy just because you wanted it.

The centennial limited edition, there might be a few dozen across the world, but each one was unique, truly one-of-a-kind.

And she knew that if it weren’t for the person who customized this watch falling through after placing a deposit, she would never have had a chance at it.

Without asking for the price, she bought it outright.

She intended to give this watch as a gift.

As for the other, more common Santos watch, she was buying it on behalf of Yusuf Zuck for Sara Zuck.

The genuine crocodile leather strap, 18K gold fra, and twelve precious star diamonds were also worth over one hundred and twenty thousand.

With everyone around in shock, she had already completed the transaction for the two watches.

The fat woman and her man left in a gloomy state, not even letting out a single fart before leaving, because the watch they were eyeing was only worth sixty-five thousand.

Although expensive, it was nothing compared to soone else’s multimillion-dollar tipiece, so what face did they have left to shine here?

“Sara, try this on and see if it fits,” Ruth Wilcox said as she put the customized watch into her bag and then handed the one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollar Santos to Sara Zuck.

“No, no, no, Ruth, I can’t take this,” Sara Zuck gestured frantically, stepping back, a watch worth one hundred and twenty-five thousand?

What a joke.

She had no blood relation or close ties with Ruth Wilcox.

Just because her brother was Ruth Wilcox’s driver, should Ruth Wilcox treat her this well?

This didn’t make any sense.

“Err… you’ve misunderstood,” Ruth Wilcox shook her head, “This watch is indeed for you, but I didn’t pay for it.

It’s your brother who wanted to buy it for you.

That’s why we’ve co here today.”

“Let have a look,” Yusuf Zuck took the watch at that mont.

The watch was beautiful, and he fell for it at first sight.

One hundred and twenty-five thousand was beyond what he had initially budgeted, but the money was already paid, and he was in no position to back out.

“Here, take it.

I’ll pay Ms.

Wilcox back in a bit.

I really did buy this watch for you,” Yusuf Zuck handed the watch to Sara Zuck.

“Brother,” Sara Zuck frowned.

Where did her brother get the money to buy her a watch?

There must be so underhanded deal between him and Ruth Wilcox, or perhaps Ruth Wilcox needed him to do sothing shady, so she was compensating him in this way!

And Sara did not wish to see her brother go astray.

“Sara, don’t be paranoid.

Your brother is rich now.

I just borrowed thirteen thousand cash from him,” Ruth Wilcox approached Sara Zuck, whispering into her ear, “Your brother just made fifty thousand, earned from treating soone, just like on the airplane.”

“Ah?

Really?” Sara Zuck exclaid in surprise.

“What do you an real or fake?

Just take it,” Yusuf Zuck stuffed the watch into Sara Zuck’s hands, then turned to smile at her female classmate, “You did a good job cursing her out just now!”

“Heh heh, she is a fat pig after all!” The female classmate chuckled.

“Alright, now that we’ve bought the watch, you three keep shopping while I carry the bags!”

“Co on, Sara, accompany to buy a bag,” Ruth Wilcox had a liking for Sara Zuck’s humility and innocence, so she grabbed Sara Zuck and they left together.

Three won together always have endless topics to discuss.

Although Sara Zuck was a few years younger than Ruth Wilcox, when won talk about beauty and weight loss, they always find a lot to connect over, especially Sara Zuck’s female classmate, who always managed to make Ruth Wilcox giggle.

After nearly an hour of wandering, Ruth Wilcox spent over six hundred thousand on an LV handbag, and the group of four headed straight to the plaza restaurant.

The al was paid for by Yusuf Zuck, the only man, so Ruth Wilcox had no intention of offering to pay.

After they finished eating, Sara Zuck and her female classmate rode off on bicycles, renting bikes to enjoy a tour around Shanghai.

Ruth Wilcox envied the freedom to just pick up and travel, and she envied Sara and her classmate.

“Stop feeling sorry for yourself, where are we going now?” Yusuf Zuck glanced at the ti, it was only two in the afternoon, there was still over four hours until their dinner appointnt.

Ruth Wilcox thought for a mont and then said, “Antique market.”

“Antique market?” Yusuf Zuck was montarily taken aback.

“Are you into collecting too?”

“I don’t know much about it, but my grandfather likes antiques, and if the deal with Parker goes through, I’d have to go back to the United States.

Next month is my aunt’s birthday, the watch we bought earlier was for her, so I thought I would bring back an antique for my grandfather as well!”

“You don’t know about antiques, and you dare to buy them?

Aren’t you afraid of buying fakes?” Yusuf Zuck said in disbelief.

“No worries, my grandfather likes to gamble on the small stuff, so I just need to pick up so antique-looking scrap tal from the streetside for him.”

“Haha.” Hearing Ruth Wilcox’s words, Yusuf Zuck burst into laughter.

He also used the navigation system to find the nearest antique market and drove there.

About an hour later, they arrived at the Qi Shi Antique Market on West Nanjing Road.

They found a parking lot, parked the car, and walked into the market street.

Who knew, but there were actually street vendors, and along the entire street, every storefront had all sorts of antiques displayed, so with stones, so with ancient bronzes and ceramics.

Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox didn’t enter any of the stores lining the street; they strolled along the main road, picking through items on the street stalls.

There’s a saying: “In an era of peace, collect antiques; in tis of turmoil, hoard gold.” This ans during peaceful tis, it’s beneficial to collect antiques for their appreciation potential.

But in troubled tis, antiques are less valuable than gold because you can’t eat or drink antiques, whereas you can trade gold for food and drink.

Now, in a real era of peace, many people were into collecting.

Despite it already being the afternoon, the antique market was bustling with noise.

There were so who were knowledgeable, and even more who were not, including so tourist groups wandering about.

Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox visited a few stalls, but nothing caught their fancy.

“Yusuf, what do you think of this Jade Pendant?

It seems really antique,” said Ruth Wilcox as they stopped in front of another stall.

She crouched down and picked up a Jade Pendant from a pile of miscellaneous items.

The pendant was milky white, with a dragon and a phoenix carved on it.

It looked old and genuinely like an antique.

What did Yusuf Zuck know about antiques?

He bitterly smiled and said, “Everything here looks like an antique to .”

“Miss, you have a keen eye for recognizing fine jade.

To tell you the truth, this item is genuine.

I collected it from a rural area in The Great Northwest, near many ancient tombs.” The vendor was a man in his fifties, with gray hair at his temples and wearing a pair of reading glasses, looking like an old scholar.

“Oh?

How much for this piece of jade?” Ruth Wilcox had her eye on this jade and intended to buy it, regardless of whether it was real or fake.

The old scholar held up three fingers: “This much, and the price is firm!”

“Thirty or three hundred?” Yusuf Zuck imdiately butted in.

The old scholar shot Yusuf Zuck a glance.

“Thirty thousand, final offer!”

Just as Yusuf Zuck was about to continue bargaining, a voice suddenly rang out from behind him and Ruth Wilcox, “Old man, I’ll take this jade!” As he spoke, the man pulled out three bundles of hundred-yuan bills from his bag and handed them to the old scholar!

“No, I already claid this item.

Yusuf, pay up.” Ruth Wilcox and Yusuf Zuck had taken one hundred thousand in cash from the suitcase when they left the car; it was in Yusuf’s tote bag now.

Yusuf glanced at the young man pushing through from behind, then at the old scholar, and then he leaned in and whispered to Ruth Wilcox, “Ms.

Wilcox, it’s a scam, don’t believe them.”
