678: Chapter 677: The Blind Kid Has a Big Role 678: Chapter 677: The Blind Kid Has a Big Role Yusuf Zuck, although capable of flight, couldn’t release his telekinesis nor could he fly high.
Additionally, after ascending the mountain, he encountered several thrusts of force.
This force was invisible, and although he clearly tried to fly upward, the force would push him away, impeding his progress.
About five or six minutes into his journey up the mountain, he finally encountered the first danger: a barrage of qi arrows ford by air currents.
It seed he had triggered so kind of chanism, and he was hit by the qi arrows.
Although the arrows didn’t penetrate his body, they shocked him to the point of spitting out mouthfuls of blood.
After that, dangers beca increasingly frequent: strange huge stones fell from the sky, bizarre spikes erged from the ground, and there were even wind blades and flas, among other threats.
Less than half an hour later, Yusuf Zuck made a disheveled retreat, covered in wounds.
He truly couldn’t ascend any higher.
Not only was the place mysterious, but it was also clearly riddled with chanisms.
The mountain contained formations; within those formations were countless killing intents.
And he was utterly clueless about formations.
He felt as though he had traveled a distance, but in the end, he found himself going around in circles, not having made much progress at all!
Chicken Mountain was shrouded in heavy fog, obscuring visibility so much that nothing in the mountain could be seen, not even the summit.
He left the mountain with no choice.
And just as he was leaving, he suddenly heard two whooshes: the sound of people approaching.
Imdiately, he turned and looked back, gripping the hilt of his sword.
“Eh?” The two audible gusts settled about ten ters away from him.
With the help of the vague fog, he could sowhat make out their appearances.
As he let out a soft ‘eh’, the other party also voiced their confusion.
“Who are you?” the woman asked.
Yusuf Zuck gave the two a once-over.
Although unable to release telekinesis, he could sense that the strangers’ cultivation level was at the Solidifying Pill stage.
Similarly, they also discerned his cultivation level.
“Why does it matter who I am?” Yusuf Zuck snapped, brushing off his own disheveled state, and then continued walking out, sword in hand.
He had no thoughts of killing them or anything of that sort; after all, he was no butcher.
It wasn’t like he could just slay any human he saw, right?
“Stop right there, my junior sister asked you who you are!” The man suddenly blocked Yusuf Zuck’s path with his sword, his face icy cold!
“What do you an?” Yusuf Zuck glared at the male cultivator coldly!
“Brother…” The woman suddenly shook her head at the male cultivator, then proceeded to salute Yusuf Zuck with a fist and palm gesture, “Fellow Taoist, please proceed!”
The man snorted coldly but stepped aside.
Yusuf Zuck scoffed, then continued on his way.
Soon, he ca across eight cultivators sitting in a circle within the fog.
They were at the Embryo Breath stage, seated and cultivating while resisting the valley’s poison fog.
Each one’s face was an unhealthy shade of greenish-purple.
“What’s going on here?” Yusuf Zuck rounded these people and passed by the edge, but he was unclear as to why they would choose to cultivate amidst the poison fog.
Were they trying to poison themselves as a form of trial?
The male and female cultivators watched Yusuf Zuck leave; because of the thick fog, they lost sight of him after he moved a few dozen ters away.
When Yusuf Zuck reached the mouth of the valley, the Black Serpent King leaped out, silently following him.
Ruth Wilcox and Ember Vance also imdiately gathered around him, looking worried, because Yusuf Zuck was in a very disheveled state at the mont.
“It’s nothing.
This mountain is strange, we shouldn’t settle here.
Even if we could enter it, the poison fog inside is still a big problem,” Yusuf Zuck shook his head.
The mountain, though appealing, was inaccessible, and the poison fog within made it unsuitable for long-term dwelling.
“But, the little demon went in.
Didn’t you see him?” Ember Vance said anxiously.
“Yeah, wasn’t the little demon with you?” Ruth Wilcox was shocked.
“What?
Little Blind went inside?
Why did he go in?
Who let him go in?” Yusuf Zuck’s eyes widened as he asked.
Ember Vance replied, “He went in by himself.
We have no idea what happened; he just ran off and disappeared!”
“He went in by himself?” Yusuf Zuck’s eyes narrowed with concern.
What was up with Little Blind?
“You guys keep waiting here, I’ll go check it out.” Yusuf Zuck couldn’t just abandon Little Blind; though blind and tongueless, Yusuf Zuck considered him his own child; he was even more important than those big demons to him.
After giving them a nod, he ventured back into the valley.
When he arrived at the spot where the other cultivators were ditating, he still took a detour around them.
anwhile, the male and female cultivators stood up again, with the man seeming quite furious!
“Stop right there!
Chicken Mountain is the territory of the Heavenly Origin Sect, not sowhere you can co and go as you please!” the man shouted angrily at Yusuf Zuck.
Yusuf Zuck suddenly found himself stunned.
Tian Yuan Sect?
Wasn’t that the very purpose of his journey to the South Continent?
It was because Luna Wolfe had killed Ariel Higgins and captured Paisley Kirk, that he had co to the South Continent, to seek retribution from the Tian Yuan Sect.
“You belong to Tian Yuan Sect?” Yusuf Zuck turned and asked.
“What, scared?” The male cultivator raised his eyebrows and said.
“Chicken Mountain belongs to Tian Yuan Sect?” Yusuf Zuck continued to inquire.
“Of course it does.
So if you know what’s good for you, you’d better scram quickly, or don’t bla for crippling your cultivation level!” The male cultivator sneered.
“Fine, now I know!” Yusuf Zuck nodded, then his gaze suddenly intensified, and he shouted, “Blacky, Ape, take these people down for !”
“Swoosh swoosh~” The Black Jiao and the Six-Fingered Jiao, who had been secretly following him, suddenly sprang forward, and the entire valley instantly turned cold.
Without a sound, darkness employed the Ice Sealing art, and in an instant, all those in the midst of Solidifying Pill or embryonic breathing were frozen in place by the Ice Fog that the Black Jiao exhaled.
Of course, although these ten people were frozen, they could still think and were conscious, but just unable to move.
At the sa ti, they were horrified to discover that demons were involved, apparently, great demons who had surpassed the Golden Core level.
This insignificant little cultivator actually had two Golden Core big demons as demon servants!
No, they weren’t demon servants, because demon servants would have collars around their necks, but these two great demons didn’t have any collars.
This ant that this person was in league with the Golden Core big demons.
“Little Blind, Little Blind…” Paying no mind to what the couple might be thinking, Yusuf Zuck stood at the foot of the mountain and shouted towards the summit!
However, this shout was significant, seeming to shake the clouds, and rain started falling from the sky directly.
The droplets, as if made of sulfuric acid, quickly burned through clothing and skin; even Yusuf Zuck scread out in pain!
“Take them and get out of here quickly!” Yusuf Zuck imdiately found a rock and hid underneath.
Although the Black Jiao and Six-Fingered Monkey had so abilities, the sulfuric acid rain was too intense and terrifying.
Both were smoked as it poured over them, their faces charred with peeling skin.
“Damn, that’s terrifying!” Yusuf Zuck shivered.
What the hell was this place?
Speaking loudly caused sulfuric acid rain to fall?
Moreover, the rain was very strange; it only caused them harm but didn’t damage the trees or plants.
“Damn it, when you co back, I’m going to smash your butt!” Yusuf Zuck clenched his teeth in anger.
Little Blind had gone into the mountain without permission, which was unacceptable, a sign of disobedience that warranted punishnt.
After waiting for a while, the rain gradually ceased, and then Yusuf Zuck shouted again, only for the sulfuric acid rain to pour down even harder than before.
Yusuf Zuck finally confird that one mustn’t yell or speak loudly in the mountains.
After the rain stopped again, Yusuf Zuck had no choice but to stand silently at the foot of the mountain, waiting.
However, this wait lasted for three days.
Just as Yusuf Zuck grew impatient, thinking about leaving with his companions, a sudden surge erged from the ground within the mountain.
Little Blind hurriedly burrowed through the rotten leaves and branches.
“Grass, so you know to co back?” Yusuf Zuck cursed angrily.
“Squeak~” Little Blind erged from beneath Yusuf Zuck’s feet and spat out a green pearl as he did so, shrouded in a fine mist, deep green and pulsing with a strange energy!
“Uh, uh, uh…” Little Blind pointed at the pearl, indicating that Yusuf Zuck should consu it.
“For what?” Yusuf Zuck was taken aback and at the sa ti picked up the pearl.
“Yah, yah, yah…” Unable to speak or articulate, all Little Blind could do was gesture continuously.
