Chapter 82 : Accompanying Miss Tan Han in ditation
“Well, I might not be free during the day today. I have a lot of things to take care of, so it’ll probably have to be in the evening,” I said after agreeing, accepting my fate.
After all, ten thousand was enough to make run errands, but I still needed to clarify so things upfront to set expectations.
“Evening… that’s not a problem. Little Han, when did you succeed in ditation?”
“Um… in the evening, I think… It was after I finished my part-ti shift and decided to give it a try, probably late at night,” I answered honestly after thinking for a mont.
“Then isn’t that perfect?”
“True…”
I scratched my head and said with a smile.
It didn’t seem like an issue, and maybe it was even a good on.
If teaching didn’t go well tonight, I could use the excuse of it being too late to slip away.
Worst case, I’d just give up the ten thousand.
“By the way, you said you’re busy today because of your part-ti job at the bakery, right? If that’s the case, I can talk to the store manager and take you to the library to see if there are any good books to check out,” Tan Han continued, her tone suggesting the store manager’s favoritism toward her.
It was clear she didn’t have the ti to just hang around the bakery doing nothing until evening.
But she was about to be disappointed.
“Uh… I’m afraid that won’t work. I have to practice for my Flying License this afternoon.”
“Flying License?”
Tan Han furrowed her brows slightly, clearly puzzled by my actions, as this was another area she hadn’t explored.
“Yeah, it’s the Flying License you need to ride a Flying Broom. Without it, you’re not allowed to ride one,” I explained, silently adding in my mind that I couldn’t even afford an alchemical broom with my current finances.
“I’ve heard of it… Now that you ntion it, it does seem necessary to get a Flying License. Can I ask where you’re training for it?”
Tan Han asked after a mont of thought.
“Huh? You’re asking because…”
“I’m also thinking of getting so things done before the sester starts. I’ve heard it gets busy once school begins,” Tan Han explained with a smile.
“True,” I nodded in agreent.
“Can you tell where you’re practicing? I might go there too. I don’t know many people at the academy, and you’re one of the few I do. It’d be nice to have a familiar face, right?”
Tan Han pressed, her tone suggesting she was set on getting an answer.
“Uh… it’s the Witch Academy Flying License Training Club. But it’s not the only place you can sign up for,” I said hesitantly.
“Then that’s the one. Alright… since you’re busy now, just contact when you’re free tonight. I’ll be waiting.”
I watched the young lady leave before resuming my tasks.
Her ntion of the Flying License reminded that I still hadn’t studied theoretical knowledge.
I figured it was probably just common-sense stuff, but I still needed to review it.
Failing the theory test would be a huge embarrassnt, and that wouldn’t be fun at all.
Ti flew by.
Under Senior Tu Qingxue’s guidance in the afternoon, I had progressed to stable low-altitude flight and even started attempting straight-line flight.
This pace was acceptable for at the mont.
It wasn’t until evening that I finally parted ways with Senior Tu Qingxue.
Standing at the bus stop, I took out my phone and imdiately contacted Tan Han, the little rich lady.
Though I wasn’t prepared to teach, I decided to just go for it.
The money was practically being handed to only a fool would pass it up.
Not long after I sent the ssage, I got a reply.
She was already waiting for at the ditation Room.
Alright then.
I was familiar with the ditation Room.
Sure, I’d only been there once, but I still rembered which bus to take without needing to check my phone.
When I arrived, Tan Han sent a room number.
A quick glance told this was one of those high-end ditation Rooms I could never afford to book.
I also learned that ditation Rooms didn’t limit the number of people entering as long as I was okay with it, it was fine.
“Little Han, over here.”
While I was counting the room numbers, a familiar voice called out to .
It was none other than Tan Han.
“Coming!”
I hurried over, not wanting to keep her waiting too long.
“Let’s go in together.”
Tan Han pushed open the door to the ditation Room as I approached.
I had to admit, this place was on a different level from the hundred-yuan room I’d used.
Even the decor exuded an understated luxury.
The overall structure seed to carry a subtle suggestion, naturally calming the mind and fostering tranquility.
Inside, there was a faint scent of incense, with an Aromatherapy device at the entrance.
The subtle fragrance didn’t clash with the incense but instead added layers to the scent.
However, the lingering incense aroma didn’t have any practical effect.
After all, the ultra-expensive ditation Incense used for the Witch ditation thod wasn’t just for its sll.
If it was just about the fragrance, a few dozen yuan could buy a ton.
Why spend so much?
“Why’d you stop? Is sothing wrong?”
Tan Han noticed my pause and asked.
“Oh… no, it’s nothing. Let’s go in and get ready,” I replied quickly, brushing it off.
I couldn’t exactly admit I was shocked by the luxury, could I?
That’d be too embarrassing.
“Really? I thought you’d be nervous.”
“I am a little nervous…”
“Relax, it’s not a big deal. I’ve done so detailed research on the Witch ditation thod these past few days, and with so additional knowledge today, I’m actually quite confident about tonight’s ditation,” Tan Han said with a smile as she knelt down to organize her items.
The ditation Room was well-equipped, with everything from Incense Burners to ditation Incense in ample supply.
Watching Tan Han’s practiced movents, I could tell she was experienced.
She might not have tried the Witch ditation thod before, but she had definitely done plenty of theoretical ditation in the past.
Ordinary incense did have so effect on general ditation, but I hadn’t experienced it myself.
As for whether this young lady had, did I even need to ask?
“Alright, now it’s your turn to shine. I don’t need you to repeat the theories from the books. I just want to hear about your ditation process, even if it feels absurd or impossible to replicate. Just tell about it,” Tan Han said seriously, turning to face .
“Uh… okay…”
eting Tan Han’s eager, knowledge-seeking gaze, I felt my eyes dart away.
I genuinely believed my experience was probably impossible to replicate or learn from, but since it was her request.
I wouldn’t hold back.
As for the Spirit Vision stuff, I’d better keep that under wraps.
My Spirit Vision was special, and it wasn’t sothing to broadcast.
“Alright… here goes. When I started ditating, it was just like you’re doing now—lighting the ditation Incense, activating all the auxiliary spells in the ditation Room…”
