Hidden Land.
Reiger and Liz had been searching for this place for a long ti.
In order to find this place, or rather to obtain information related to it, they even crossed the entire Kingdom of Ginas to reach the neutral city of Xinye within the Neutral Zone.
In the end, their journey was in vain, and they didn’t get any information about the Hidden Land.
Now, the people of this place have finally appeared, leaving both of them with mixed feelings.

Ivy’s speech was undoubtedly powerful.
Seeing her excited expression, it was clear she genuinely believed it, as if treating Reinnaier’s bloodline as her faith, venerating it like a deity.
No wonder, Reinnaier was a hero, the king who once led all of humanity against demons, liberating them from the role of prey.
This group of heroes, in the eyes of humans from the ancient magic civilization, must have been akin to deities of faith.
As soone who inherited the ancient magic civilization, Ivy clearly inherited this old will and recognition.

"No matter how much you praise Reinnaier, it doesn’t change the fact that it has perished."
Reiger casually interjected.
"The ancient magic civilization it led has perished, and its bloodline is nearly extinct on this continent, with few even aware of its existence. It’s not as great as you imagine."

Reiger’s words caused Ivy to lose her composure instantly, her glaring eyes filled with killing intent.

Facing Ivy’s gaze, Reiger displayed a half-smile, yet his eyes were as cold as ice, causing Ivy to tremble with a sense of dread.
Intuition told her, if she continued her insolence, this man in front of her wouldn’t show any rcy.
At that point, probing mories might be the least of her concerns; falling into a fate worse than death would be the true hell.
This was the monster who, with ease, dragged her out of the Sea of Death and brought her back to life.
Although she didn’t know how Reiger did it, resurrecting the dead was unheard of even in ancient magic civilization. But the facts were right before her, and no matter how unwilling Ivy was to believe, she had to admit one thing.
In front of Reiger, she was nothing.
"I’ll ask you once more." Reiger asked in a monotonous tone, "What kind of place is the Hidden Land?"
"What is its connection with the ancient magic civilization?"
"And what does it have to do with Liz?"
"Think carefully before you answer."
This was a final ultimatum, showing Ivy that Reiger also had his temper.
There was no choice. Although he didn’t mind severing the attendant relationship with Liz, it surely wasn’t sothing to be done under others’ coercion, nor did he need any third party’s interference.
