After leaving the principal’s office, Gojo Satoru seed a bit off.
At first, Reiger thought his mood was because of Geto Suguru.
But now, it seed that wasn’t the only reason.
Reiger had also considered practicing Domain Expansion, and had previously discussed it with Gojo Satoru, ultimately concluding that there was no rush.
Because Reiger still had many research topics, whether it was [Dinsional Slash], [Red Blood Manipulation], or techniques like [Injustice Ga] which had developnt potential, all required Reiger to spend ti studying.
He had barely been involved in the sorcery system for three months and was already preparing to touch the pinnacle of sorcery combat like Domain Expansion, which was a bit hasty.
The main reason was that Reiger wasn’t lacking in ti or capability; as long as he was well-prepared, he could undertake the study of Domain Expansion at any ti without any hurry.
Rather than attempting the ultimate in sorcery now, it was more important to first master several techniques and integrate these techniques into his close-combat system.
With Reiger’s strength, even without mastering Domain Expansion, he didn’t worry about losing to that Curse Mage. Even if the opponent was Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer of their ti, Reiger had no fear. So why rush?
While Gojo Satoru didn’t fully understand the extent of Reiger’s true strength, he knew Reiger wasn’t weak, so he wasn’t worried either.
But now, Gojo was indeed worried.
"Did sothing happen?" Reiger looked at Gojo Satoru and asked, "Does it have sothing to do with what was ntioned in the principal’s office just now?"
"...Your intuition is quite sharp." Gojo Satoru was silent for a while, then scratched his head, feigning nonchalance as he said, "Well, more or less."
He didn’t deny it.
"That’s not like you." Reiger replied calmly, "You’re Gojo Satoru, unrivaled in heaven and earth, and you’re afraid of so Curse Spirit that popped up out of nowhere?"
"Why do I feel like you’re mocking ?" Gojo Satoru was a bit speechless but still said, "I’m definitely not scared of so lurking Curse Spirit, but how do I put it?"
Gojo Satoru lifted his head, looking at the night sky, and after so deliberation, he spoke.
"Lately, the tides seem a bit off; I have a bad premonition, like sothing big is going to happen."
Intelligent Curse Spirits—these were things never seen before.
The other party had even led thousands of Curse Spirits to attack Jujutsu High and stole Ryonsukuna’s fingers, obviously with so plot in mind.
At least, Gojo Satoru didn’t think they aid to devour the "fingers" like ordinary Curse Spirits to enhance their own strength.
Would they assault the strategic location in the world of sorcery just for that?
If they were so reckless, why sche to divert attention using [Curtain] and thousands of Curse Spirits?
Moreover, the first encounter with Itadori Yuji as a vessel seed too coincidental, leading Gojo Satoru to believe sothing was brewing that he hadn’t thought of yet.
It was surely a grand conspiracy.
Sure to stir up massive upheaval.
Gojo Satoru had such premonitions, and they were growing stronger.
This strong premonition seed to be telling Gojo Satoru that sothing could happen to him.
That’s why Gojo was a bit anxious.
"As Curse Mages, dealing with Curses, good premonitions are unreliable, but bad premonitions nearly always co true." Gojo Satoru said, as if speaking about soone else, indifferently, "If sothing does happen to , I’ll feel much more at ease with you around."
In such circumstances, the stronger Reiger was, the better.
Hence, Gojo Satoru wanted to push Reiger further, to see if he could master Domain Expansion before everything happened.
"What could possibly give you trouble, Gojo Satoru?"
Understanding Gojo Satoru’s intentions, Reiger spoke calmly, but thoughts raced in his mind.
He was trying to recall the original plot, to find any mory of upcoming events.
But he wasn’t very familiar with the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen" to start with. While wandering around the world, he didn’t deliberately follow the detailed plot developnt of the original. Besides, "Jujutsu Kaisen" was a newly released series back then; seeing it once and rembering so important characters, events, and settings was already comndable, expecting him to understand everything was asking too much.
Moreover, according to his knowledge, the original animation concluded roughly after the Capital City Sister School Exchange Event arc, and only the original manga contained the subsequent plot.
But Reiger only had a superficial understanding of the original ani, not to ntion the manga, which he hadn’t even glanced at.
So, Reiger couldn’t possibly know what exactly would happen next.
But—
(Those intelligent Curse Spirits definitely have so sche.)
(If I recall correctly, the sche mostly targets two people.)
(One is Gojo Satoru, the other is Itadori Yuji.)
This was the only thing that stuck in Reiger’s mind.
Moreover, if he rembered correctly, the mastermind behind this sche wasn’t the intelligent Curse Spirits themselves, but their collaborators.
The Curse Spirits had their own objectives, so they found a collaborator extrely knowledgeable about the world of sorcery.
