"Although there is no definitive information about the source yet, I’ve heard that so of our ’windows’ have repeatedly spotted the highly intelligent Curse Spirits rumored to exist."
In other words, it is highly likely that these highly intelligent Curse Spirits are up to sothing.
"Oh?" Reiger turned his gaze towards Shinseki Kikyo and asked, "Have there been reports about those Curse Spirits?"
"Yes." Shinseki Kikyo, while driving, handed a pre-organized file to Reiger, saying, "This is the latest intelligence compiled by the Curse Mage High Academy. Please take a look."
Upon hearing this, Reiger took the docunt.
It was referred to as a file, but it was essentially information recorded on a tablet.
Under the light of the screen, Reiger began to peruse the docunt.
Shinseki Kikyo’s voice seamlessly continued.
"When the ’windows’ discovered those highly intelligent Curse Spirits, the Curse Mage High Academy and various major curse mage families imdiately dispatched Curse Mages to ambush them."
"Although the casualties were severe, through contact, we managed to confirm so of the enemy’s intelligence."
"As of now, there have been four confird highly intelligent Curse Spirits."
At this point, Reiger happened to scroll to this part and saw the photo and information of the first Curse Spirit.
It was a young man with sallow skin, covered in patches, appearing sowhat neurotic yet bearing a joyful smile.
"The first Curse Spirit calls itself Human, and according to him, he is a Curse born from human hatred and fear of one another. When he first appeared, he had a conflict with your contemporary Itadori Yuji."
"When our Curse Mages encountered him, he was conducting extrely cruel human transformation experints. His technique is suspected to involve physical transformation of others and even of himself."
"Anyone he touches, whether ordinary people or Curse Mages, will be transford into sothing akin to Curse hybrids in a very short amount of ti, falling under his control, while the damage inflicted by Curse Mages on him will be repaired through his technique."
"...All the Curse Mages who encountered this Curse Spirit ended up being killed, without exception, becoming hybrids. It has been confird that this individual was also the mastermind who invaded the Curse Storage a month ago, classified as special-grade."
Listening to Shinseki Kikyo’s explanation, Reiger squinted slightly at the image of Human on the tablet.
This Curse Spirit was sowhat morable to him, having had a noticeable presence in the original work.
Its technique was certainly valuable to obtain, but he himself was a villain who regarded human life as worthless, unhesitatingly exploiting others and turning innocent people into hybrids to toy with, leaving those in his grasp in a living nightmare. Compared to the cruel aliens in the Nasalik Underground Tomb, which Reiger used to detest fiercely, this spirit was equally heinous.
Such an entity, once Reiger had obtained its technique and exhausted its value, was inevitably destined to be killed by him.
Shinseki Kikyo’s voice resud.
"The second Curse Spirit is called Luohu, said to be a Curse born from human fear of the earth, and extrely powerful. In terms of pure Curse energy and technique power, it might even be the strongest among the four highly intelligent Curse Spirits discovered so far."
"Its technique involves controlling high temperatures and flas, resembling a volcano to so extent, and can also manipulate magma and soil, even possessing formidable close-combat capabilities, making it more threatening than Human in all aspects."
"Almost none of the Curse Mages who encountered this Curse Spirit survived, with most being reduced to ashes in an instant, leaving not even a complete corpse. Several buildings in the vicinity were demolished during the engagent, showcasing its terrifying destructive power."
"The upper echelons have deed this Curse Spirit the strongest individual among the Curse Spirits appearing in the past century, classified as special-grade."
Reiger slid the tablet downwards, pausing on another photo.
This was a short old man with a volcano-like head and ashen skin, his expressionless face clearly showing his disdain for humanity, and the bloodshot eyes revealing his obsession, instantly indicating a being extrely unfriendly towards humans.
This Curse Spirit, Reiger also rembered.
(...I recall in the original work, this guy recklessly challenged Gojo Satoru, only to be thoroughly beaten, almost questioning its own existence, right?)
Thinking about it, it’s actually quite amusing.
This Curse Spirit’s power was genuinely impressive, capable of demolishing several buildings, aning its destructive force had to be at least Lv. 7.
Faced with such a Curse Spirit, even a special-grade Curse Mage supposedly superior to Curse Spirits of the sa rank would likely struggle.
At the very least, if Okkotsu Yuta wanted to deal with this Curse Spirit, he might not have any advantage.
Unfortunately, this guy encountered Gojo Satoru.
Who was Gojo Satoru?
Even Reiger considered him worthy of a full-strength battle.
It could only be said that this Curse Spirit’s luck was truly awful, challenging the one opponent in the entire world of sorcery it couldn’t possibly defeat, otherwise, no matter who it faced, it wouldn’t have been beaten one-sidedly.
Luohu, truly unfortunate.
"The third Curse Spirit is nad Hanami, a Curse born from human fear of the forest."
Shinseki Kikyo continued speaking.
"This Curse Spirit’s technique is related to plants; it appears able to manipulate them. Curse Mages encountering it are first assaulted by countless roots swarming in like a tide. Even if a certain number is ford and attacked using group tactics, they would still be suppressed by the ’forest’ itself."
"This Curse Spirit seems to care greatly for nature, unlike Luohu, refraining from damaging the environnt extensively. However, it holds a strong opposition to humanity, believing that humans are the greatest threat to nature and thus must be eradicated."
"It is an extre environntalist and is suspected to be able to move freely within plants, penetrating even barriers. The invasion of Curse Mage High Academy a month ago, with barriers rendered ineffective, was likely due to this Curse Spirit."
"While not highly destructive, this Curse Spirit is also extrely powerful; even first-grade Curse Mages cannot handle it, hence also classified as special-grade."
Reiger scrolled the tablet again, seeing Hanami’s photo.
It gave an inorganic impression overall, with ghastly pale skin covered in black vine-like patterns, resembling tree branches growing from where its eyes should be, enveloping one arm.
Upon seeing this Curse Spirit, Reiger rembered too.
During the Sister School Exchange Event in the original work, this Curse Spirit invaded the Curse Mage High Academy to divert the attention of Curse Mages, including Gojo Satoru, giving Geto Suguru and Human a chance to invade the Curse Storage and take away nurous Cursed objects.
This ti, this Curse Spirit did not appear.
(Is it because of my presence?)
Reiger wondered as he scrolled the tablet, checking the information on the last Curse Spirit.
This was the only Curse Spirit Reiger had no impression of, feeling as if he had never seen it before.
It had an octopus-like face with a red-colored body, black stripes on the facial tentacles, standing about 100 centiters tall. Dressed in a white cloth, it was the least human-like and completely devoid of any human features among the four Curse Spirits.
"It’s called Dagon, seemingly a Curse born from human fear of the ocean."
Shinseki Kikyo’s voice slowly continued.
"It only appeared once, following Human, Luohu, and Hanami without taking any action or engaging with any Curse Mage."
"When our people attempted to engage it, it didn’t retaliate, but instead turned around and fled, appearing very timid."
"Based on speculation, its technique should be water-related. While it seems not to possess strong combat abilities, the ’windows’ personnel, after gathering intelligence, unanimously believe it may still be in the stage of a Curse embryo, not yet fully ford."
"Once it fully matures, conservatively estimated, its power will also reach special-grade."
These were the four highly intelligent Curse Spirits in total.
Each one was of special-grade.
