"[Inactive Transformation]."
In a daze, Yarad seed to hear that demon’s voice again.
As this voice echoed, Yarad’s consciousness swiftly awakened.
He suddenly opened his eyes, imdiately seeing Reiger standing in front of him.
"Feel fortunate."
In front of Yarad, Reiger said this with a faint smile.
"Feel fortunate for still having value to be used."
Upon hearing this, Yarad’s face changed dramatically, and his body instinctively jumped backward, distancing himself from Reiger.
This leap imdiately made Yarad realize sothing was wrong.
"My, my body..."
He was stunned.
Before losing consciousness, not only had his arms been cut off, his body had also been transford in a chaotic manner by so unknown magic, completely losing its human shape.
But now, Yarad was astonished to find that his arms had returned to normal, and the structure of his body was restored, making him montarily question whether he had been in a dream all along, and the brutal battle had never happened.
However, this was undoubtedly a delusion.
The cruel battle was not an illusion but a real event.
The evidence was the room encased in a barrier still appeared in ruins, and his own body seed not only restored but also subtly changed.
"What did you do to ?"
Yarad looked at Reiger, filled with both shock and anger.
It was then that Yarad noticed, besides lo and Naisa who were coldly observing him beside Reiger, soone else had appeared there at so point.
She was a girl whose appearance and temperant were in no way inferior to lo and Naisa, yet for so reason, she exuded an eerie sense of danger.
Seeing the girl with waist-length, naturally green hair standing obediently beside Reiger, Yarad’s heartbeat beca unusual.
"No, this isn’t my heartbeat."
Yarad was even more shocked and angry.
Although he did not possess introspective abilities, as soone just a step away from the Saint rank, with the Amber tier, he had excellent control over his body.
Thus, Yarad was certain that there was sothing like a "heart" inside him.
It was this "heart" that was beating intensely, conveying a will, a voice to him.
That voice told him the girl before him was his master.
That will told him he now lived for the girl before him.
The girl was his creator, the reason for his continued existence.
Feeling this will, listening to that voice, Yarad couldn’t help but clutch his chest, his face turning fearful.
However, the girl, without understanding Yarad at all, turned to the boy Yarad both feared and hated, speaking cautiously.
"This human is now my ’tentacle’, what do you want him to do?"
Hearing this, Reiger didn’t respond imdiately but glanced at Aleye.
At this mont, Aleye was wearing a gown that seed woven from leaves and silk, no longer clad in scandalous attire as before.
In this outfit, Aleye looked like a genuine, naturally born Immortal Spirit, and those unaware of her background might not believe that this Immortal Spirit had already fallen, stained with corruption, and beco a being contrary to morals.
Of course, the outfit was fashioned for her by Reiger using constructive magic, originally done without much thought yet surprisingly fitting.
Regrettably, Reiger knew well that it was rely an external facade.
Essentially, the Immortal Spirit before him remained an extrely dangerous fallen creature, a threat to the Source World no lesser than the Abyss Demon Lord, if not for Reiger’s intimidation.
As a fallen Polluted Immortal Spirit, Aleye had long lost humanity, conscience, and even reason, leaving only the desire to grow stronger and instinct.
Once Reiger wasn’t there, without his deterrence, Aleye would instantly transform into a desire-driven monster, devouring everything that could make her more powerful.
In her words, this was called becoming one.
Therefore, even if she now appeared compliant and obedient, Reiger still didn’t regard her kindly.
"Yarad Keset."
Reiger spoke to Yarad, who was looking at him with a mix of shock and anger.
"For the ti being, I want you to continue keeping in touch with the people of the Dark Relief Center as before."
Upon hearing this, Yarad imdiately understood what Reiger intended.
To this, Yarad said nothing, just surveying his surroundings, trying hard to find an opportunity to escape.
"Ah!"
At this point, Yarad suddenly scread in imnse pain, clutching his chest and squatting down with an extrely pale complexion.
At that mont, the "heart" within Yarad seed to be grasped by an invisible hand, as if it might shatter at any mont, causing him intense pain.
Intuition told Yarad that if that "heart" shattered, he would undoubtedly die, leaving no chance of survival.
"What did you do to ? What exactly did you do to ...?!
