The bandits who live by plundering others have long had their consciences devoured by dogs. If they saw soone like Beluti traveling alone, their first thought would surely be to capture her and indulge in her wonderful flesh, rather than repent and turn to the light.
Unless, Beluti could "see" her own misfortune in the presence of these individuals and choose to avoid them.
In other words, the reason Beluti is not attacked by monsters is because she uses her ability to foresee disasters to narrowly avoid encounters with them.
As for those bandits, the reason they don’t harm her is because Beluti doesn’t see herself eting a tragic future in front of them. She knows they’re not so thoroughly wicked, which leads her to advise them, successfully persuading them in the end.
After all, so bandits didn’t beco bandits by choice.
Driven by life’s necessities, when even basic needs can’t be t, and survival is at risk, they naturally turn to stealing others’ food to sustain themselves.
If they encounter such bandits, with Beluti’s purity and sanctity, it’s not impossible for her to persuade them to return to the right path.
As for those bandits who’ve truly lost all conscience and are utterly immoral, encountering them is a complete disaster. If Beluti can foresee such a future, she simply needs to avoid the places where they might encounter her, wouldn’t she?
Reiger thought he had solved so mysteries with such musings.
Unfortunately...
"I can safely continue my travels not only because of my foresight but also because everyone else is good."
Beluti insisted on this view, leaving Reiger montarily unsure if his speculations were correct.
"You’re just as mysterious and incredible as Naisa and others say,"
Reiger could only sigh.
"Lady Naisa?" Beluti pursed her lips and said, "For her to welco a savior like you, it brings aning to her continuous duty and mission. She’s truly enviable."
Reiger noncommittally curled his lips and then, without lingering on the gentle skin, let go of Beluti’s chin, moving away.
"Why did Miss Laon ask here? What’s the matter?"
Reiger enquired of the important matter.
Unexpectedly, Beluti seed to beco a bit flustered.
"Please just call Beluti, don’t use honorifics on ," Beluti quickly said, "You are the noble savior, the Master of the Holy Sword Marfa. I’m just a re priestess, unworthy of your honorifics."
"Alright," Reiger didn’t delve into this further, nodding, "Then I’ll just call you Beluti."
"Can you tell the reason you wanted to talk to , Beluti?"
Upon hearing this, Beluti’s expression turned solemn, and she clasped her hands together and placed them on her chest as if in prayer, leaning slightly forward, she addressed Reiger.
"Have you co to Nanierka, Your Excellency, to cross this battle line and head towards the land of ’that empire’ which has been overtaken by the Abyss?"
At those words, Reiger was imdiately taken aback.
"How do you know?"
Indeed.
Reiger’s purpose for coming to Nanierka was to cross this defensive line and head to the forr empire territory that had succumbed to the Abyss.
"That empire" was the country that first welcod the savior, the original place of the Moslo Sword, and the first stop for the Reinnaier clan’s people when they arrived in this world.
"That empire" had deep ties with the Reinnaier clan, consistently maintaining a position of allegiance to them, always standing at the forefront against the Abyss, and even intermarrying multiple tis with saviors from the Reinnaier clan.
As a result, before the fall of "that empire", both the royal family and several major noble families had individuals possessing the bloodline of the Reinnaier clan.
Especially the royal family, who were steadfast in following the saviors from the Reinnaier clan, primarily because they were almost of the sa origin as the Reinnaier themselves, with more than half of the past kings having the blood of the Reinnaier clan. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the Reinnaier clan had essentially beco the royal family of "that empire".
However, it’s uncertain why the descendants of the Reinnaier bloodline left in the Source by the Reinnaier clan could not receive the acknowledgnt of the Holy Sword Moslo to beco its Master, even if they inherited the extraordinary bloodline of the clan.
The only individuals ever acknowledged by the Holy Sword Moslo to beco its Master have always been those of Reinnaier lineage born and bred in other worlds, specifically the royal families of the ancient magical civilization of the Akasha continent.
Why is this so?
After reading historical texts and learning about this fact, Reiger had once boldly speculated.
"Perhaps, the rare iron forming the Holy Sword Core is sothing that the ancestor of the first savior of the Reinnaier clan, the one who first used the Dinsional Cube, obtained from the Akasha continent."
Thanks to this, the sentient Holy Swords would recognize only those from the Akasha continent as their Masters.
If Reiger’s speculations are correct, two major conditions must be t to beco a Master of the Holy Sword.
First, the individual must be native to the Akasha continent.
Second, they must have experienced Dinsional Travel.
The forr may be because the core of the Holy Swords cos from the Akasha continent.
The latter may be because the first savior assimilated the Holy Sword Core with Dinsion Energy when bringing it to the Source World.
Based on these two conditions, Reinnaier’s bloodline in the Source would be unable to beco a Master of the Holy Sword, and only those from the Akasha continent have this qualification.
There might be other conditions, such as the Holy Swords’ own preferences, or the Master’s potential needing to reach a certain level, but these two conditions seem to be the prerequisites; one can’t beco a Master of the Holy Sword without eting these two.
Of course, this isn’t the point.
The point is, through ancient texts, Reiger realized sothing about "that empire".
That is, ever since "that empire" was targeted and besieged at great cost by the Abyss, the last savior retreated with the Moslo Sword back to the Akasha continent and never returned.
Historical records show that after a battle with one of the Abyss’ top ten kings, the Abyss Demon Lord, the savior suffered a grave, incurable wound, rendering him unable to return to the battlefield.
Thus, to combat the Abyss and save "that empire" from imminent peril, the savior took the Holy Sword Moslo back to the Akasha continent to find a successor among his descendants to carry the Holy Sword and return.
But the savior never ca back, and the Holy Sword Moslo was thus lost on the Akasha continent.
And the reason the Reinnaier saviors never returned was that the ancient magical civilization encountered disaster, being destroyed by the "King of Calamity" who commanded magical creatures.
The entire ancient magical civilization, including the Reinnaier clan, was wiped out; only a few remnants survived and went to the Hidden Land.
Yuloli was the last queen of the Reinnaier clan and it was her sacrifice that sealed the "King of Calamity", bringing peace back to the continent.
But why did all this coincide so perfectly?
Why, when "that empire" was besieged by the Abyss, did the ancient magical civilization also encounter disaster simultaneously?
The last savior couldn’t even complete his mission of finding a new savior to bring the Holy Sword back, proving that the ti the ancient magical civilization faced disaster must have been extrely close to when "that empire" encountered its own, leaving the Reinnaier clan without the ti to return to the Source World.
This coincidence is truly too much.
Thus, Reiger decided to co here.
He wants to personally investigate whether there is so connection between the two.
