The old dwarf opened his arms, ready to welco the rushing Lilicia into his embrace.

But just as the old dwarf opened his arms, Lilicia ca to a sudden halt.

"Ew, Grandpa, why do you always sll of sweat and alcohol? It’s unbearable!"

The joy on Lilicia’s face disappeared, replaced by full contempt.

"Slly, really slly?" The old dwarf’s smile froze instantly, and he couldn’t help sniffing himself, scratching his head, and said, "There’s nothing I can do; this city is built on magma. It’s normal to sweat a lot when spending so much ti in front of the magic geothermal furnace, right?"

"But you still sll like alcohol, Grandpa." Lilicia remained unchanged in her attitude of disdain, saying, "Didn’t Mom and Grandma tell you not to drink? Are you disobeying again?"

"Spare , Lilicia." The old dwarf adopted a helpless look, contrasting his previous bravado, saying pitiably, "I’m a dwarf, a true dwarf. How can a dwarf not drink?"

In any world, the dwarf race loves two things: blacksmithing and drinking.

Grace is a proud drinker; at parties, he’s never been drunk. Compared to him, Loki, the god known for his drinking, is far inferior. At least Grace never suffers from hangovers.

Grace once told Reiger that Chun, the captain of the Hephaestos Clan who helped craft Reiger’s weapons, although only half-dwarf, was equally fond of alcohol and often sought him out for drinks.

This shows how much dwarves love alcohol, and the stronger the drink, the more they love it.

Lilicia’s grandfather clearly fits the bill of a competent dwarf, banning him from drinking would be akin to killing him.

"Anyway, Grandpa slls awful, please don’t hug ."

Lilicia ran away with little respect, leaving the old dwarf with a look of sadness.

Eventually, the old dwarf gathered himself, turning his gaze to the others.

Reiger sharply noticed the gaze first landing on him, and then quickly drifting to his waist, focusing on Marfa’s Sword, sheathed and devoid of its magnificent aura.

For a mont, there was a flash of heat in the eyes of the observer.

Quickly, however, the heat in those eyes was subdued and replaced by solemnity.

"You’re the Master of the Holy Sword Marfa, the recently descended savior, correct?"

Unlike others who always treated Reiger with extre respect, the old dwarf’s attitude was not reverent but was instead very earnest and serious.

"I am Malfoy Lizarit, sowhat like the administrator of this underground dwarf city."

The old dwarf—Malfoy Lizarit thus addressed Reiger.

Seeing this, lo, Naisa, Beluti, and others seed uninterested in interrupting this conversation, refraining from greeting Malfoy, reducing their presence.

Reiger naturally responded.

"Reiger Brillhaut, that’s my na, just call Reiger."

As soon as Reiger spoke, Malfoy stroked his beard, nodding with implied aning.

"Reiger Brillhaut, although a na I’ve never heard before, it carries the sll of steel and blood, very intense."

"However, despite the intensity of the steel and blood, it doesn’t seem evil at all."

"It seems that the chosen Master of the Holy Sword Marfa, though new here, is a battle-hardened, adventure-experienced young man."

Malfoy’s words made Reiger raise his eyebrows slightly.

"Do you have the ability to see what experiences soone has had from their na?"

Reiger was sowhat surprised.

"No, I don’t have that ability." Malfoy without hesitation shook his head, saying, "It’s just a gut feeling, cultivated at this old age, a discerning eye, as it were. When you reach my age, you’ll naturally understand!"

Before Reiger could comnt on Malfoy’s statent, Lilicia already interjected with a tongue out.

"Don’t listen to him, sir. Other dwarves lack such skills, even if they live as long as he did, they can’t achieve the sa thing. My grandpa loves fooling people with these words."

Hearing this, everyone, including Reiger, smiled wryly.

"Haha." Malfoy chuckled, continuing to stroke his beard, saying, "I’ve already heard from Lilicia, Sir Brillhaut, that you seem to have so questions to ask , right?"

"Correct." Reiger nodded, saying, "I indeed want to know a few things and need soone like you, high up among the dwarves, to enlighten ."

"What am I, high up? I just happen to be a bit better at blacksmithing than other dwarves, and that’s why I’ve been pushed into this troubleso position." Malfoy seed dismissive of the notion, continuing, "Since that’s the case, co with , this isn’t quite the place for conversation."

With that, Malfoy turned around, without ceremony, heading towards the city, signaling Reiger and the others to follow closely.

"Grandpa’s so rude."

Lilicia huffed a bit as she made her comnt, but obediently followed Malfoy.

lo, Naisa, Beluti, and others were used to this.

Being locals, they knew how stubborn and crude the dwarf race could be.

Being charitable, this is called being unpretentious.

Being blunt, it’s called being unrefined.

So people like it, others find it deeply unpleasant, leading to a situation where many hold little affection for dwarves.

So dwarves have attitudes so awful, they can hardly string three sentences without an insult, offending many, but Malfoy was considered quite good, knowing how to host Reiger and others, respecting their distinguished status with a solemn attitude.

Perhaps because of this, Malfoy had a human wife and beca the top administrator of the dwarf-dominated defense area?

If all here were truly a group of brainless, brutally crude dwarves, the Nanierga Giant Wall defense area might clash with dwarves every other day.

The group followed Malfoy, entering the underground dwarf city.

The architecture of this city is quite simple; as far as the eye can see, it’s full of stone houses. Despite variations in height and size, each building lacks much decoration or embellishnt, giving Reiger a feeling of being back in Rivera Town on the 18th layer of the underground city.

Except, what’s filling this city isn’t ubiquitous rchants or adventurers but dwarves—short, wide-bodied, and sweating profusely.

So dwarves scurry in and out of alleys, carrying obvious forging materials, while others hamr tals in front of or within buildings, with the clinking sound of blacksmithing echoing everywhere.

Flas and heat spread through, illuminating the underground city in fiery hues, painting streets and alleys in red.

As soon as Reiger and others entered, they beca the focus of the scene, drawing the attention of many dwarves, who pointed and whispered.

However, they ignored this.

They were already srized by the exquisite crafts set around them.

Reiger witnessed a sweating dwarf at a burning forge, shaping a tal with astonishing magic power.

Beside this dwarf, swords, spears, blades, halberds, and various weapons lay against the wall as if for free.

Looking at these swords, spears, blades, halberds, Reiger almost went blind from their brilliance.

Judging almost instantly from the dense magic pulsation, Reiger assessed the weapons’ level.

"All of them are at least Divine Artifact level weapons!"

Indeed they were.
