This place is darker than anywhere else, and filthier than any other place.
If a person falls into a volcanic crater, generally, they would be vaporized by the extre heat before even touching the lava.
And for humans, the Abyss is undoubtedly a more hostile environnt than the insides of a volcano.
Ordinary humans cannot survive here; even powerful saints cannot stay long in such a place.
This is not a place where life can flourish, completely opposite to the Source, only the evil and bizarre abyss creatures can survive here.
At the sa ti that Reiger’s group entered the Great Saint Palace, atop a mountain burning with dark flas in the Abyss, a terrifying entity sitting at the summit opened its eyes.
"Actually sneaked into Misurging Palace, and entered that damned palace?"
A flash of shock and anger, followed by a dense aura of violence and murder passed through the terrifying entity’s eyes, emitting an aura as evil as a natural disaster throughout its body.
The terrifying entity reached out its hand and fiercely slashed across a black water pool nearby.
Instantly, the black water in the pool began to boil, and scenes began to reflect on the water surface.
As Reiger’s group stord into Misurging Palace, rampaging all the way and finally charging into the Great Saint Palace, then the Great Saint Palace was enveloped by a dark shroud, with countless abyss creatures frantically attacking but unable to breakthrough.
The terrifying entity kept its gaze fixed on the singular boy within those scenes.
Watching the other’s calmly composed expression with a hint of nonchalance, sensing the familiar aura on him, the terrifying entity naturally shifted its focus to the holy sword tied to the other’s waist.
At that mont, the aura of violence and murder in the terrifying entity’s eyes increased tenfold or more.
Involuntarily, it reached out its hand to touch its other arm.
But it touched nothing.
No choice.
Its other arm had been lost, with its body on the other side completely empty, leaving only a brutally mangled stump of flesh, nothing more.

The terrifying entity burst into laughter.
The laughter, tinged with rage, transford into a dreadful shock wave, causing explosions all over the mountain burning with black flas, blasting countless rocks skyward.
Angry laughter echoed from the terrifying entity.

As the Demon Lord in the Abyss most involved in scheming within the Source and the most attentive to the situation in the Source, it had realized a few days ago that a being of the Source had appeared in the Black Land where none should exist.
Mainly because the other didn’t particularly hide its tracks, wantonly hunting abyss creatures everywhere in the Black Land, making it impossible not to notice him.
However, at that ti, the terrifying entity did not know who this person was.
The black water pool could only reflect scenes of places marked with special tokens left by it, and the larger the scene, the blurrier the reflection, rendering the terrifying entity unable to determine who the audacious person rampaging alone in the Black Land was.
