"Boom!!!"
When a trendous explosion sounded from the other end of the plain and spread rapidly around...
In the abandoned city of Lentinion, a group of human soldiers clad in armor and wielding weapons such as spears and shields imdiately fell into a state of unrest.
"What... what is this noise?"
"It’s so loud!"
"This sound... it seems to be coming from the direction of the Queen’s army camp...!"
"It’s an anomaly!"
"Hey! Get a ssenger! Quickly report this to the captain!"
The soldiers seed to have been on guard near the city walls originally, so even positioned atop the broken walls, forming a sentry group, constantly monitoring the other side of the plain.
Now, with such an obvious anomaly suddenly occurring, the soldiers naturally beca alert imdiately, showing a high level of attention.
"Shhh!"
Just as the soldiers were hastily preparing to report the anomaly, with a faint sound of splitting the air, a figure suddenly swept in, landing on the dilapidated city wall.
"Captain!"
The soldiers were first startled but relaxed after clearly seeing the visitor.
The visitor was a seemingly twenty-sothing human youth with a tall and strong physique and a resolute expression.
The young man had white hair, wore pure white flawless armor, which seed exceptionally fitting on him, fully displaying a noble knightly aura and a stern deanor. If coupled with a horse, he would undoubtedly beco the ideal image of the white horse Prince in many won’s hearts.
The young man also held a spear, the tip of which was designed with aesthetic appeal, equally pure white, exuding a sacred aura.
"Captain Pasival! Over there..."
A soldier hurried over to the young man’s side, about to report sothing.
However, before he could speak, the youth nad Pasival interrupted him.
"I already know." The young Pasival, with a grave expression, stared at the other side of the plain solemnly: "Such a loud sound, I think everyone in Lentinion could hear it."
It was because he heard that loud explosion that he imdiately rushed to this side.
"Did the sound co from the Queen’s army side?"
Pasival stared intently at the other side of the plain.
From this distance, although the Queen’s army camp couldn’t be seen, a blinding fla could be seen.
"Explosion? Could it be a fire?"
Pasival pondered whether he should go over there to investigate.
But before Pasival could act, several figures rushed towards this side.
"Pasival!"
Upon hearing the familiar call, Pasival halted his thoughts, turned around, and looked behind.
He saw several figures hurriedly climbing onto the city wall, gathering towards Pasival.
Among them were a boy wearing a standard work uniform incompatible with this Fairy Country’s style, a fully ard girl holding a black shield, a little girl with a chanical-style backpack and roller skates, a young girl holding a knight’s lance, a tiny cat fairy with a pointed hat like a fairy on the palm, and even a noble youth with butterfly-like wings on his back...
Finally, a fairy girl wearing a school-style magician’s uniform, holding a chosen staff...
It was none other than Altoria and the group from Chaldea.
More than a month had passed, and so changes seed to have occurred within this team; so new faces had joined, and so who were previously present were now gone.
Among them, the changes in Altoria and Fujimaru Ritsuka were undoubtedly the greatest.
Before Reiger left, Fujimaru Ritsuka was still in a state of amnesia and coma; now, not only has she awakened, her deanor has beco much firr, unlike the initial bewildered and helpless look.
Altoria was the sa, with a steadier and calr deanor, emitting a sharp aura that was not present before, transforming like a novice magician into a mature magician capable of standing alone, sowhat resembling the shadow of a savior.
Clearly, after Reiger left, the many adventuring experiences had allowed the group to mature significantly.
Unfortunately, Reiger wasn’t here to witness this scene firsthand.
"What happened, Pasival?"
In this situation, the first to inquire was the noble youth with butterfly-like wings—Alberon.
This Fairy King hadn’t changed much, appearing laid-back and unreliable like before, but at least at this mont, his expression was quite serious.
"What was that sound just now? Could it be the cannon that Da Vinci ntioned before? Is soone using a cannon against Lentinion?"
The girl holding the knight’s lance seed a bit startled, as if the previous loud noise had frightened her quite a bit.
"Did sothing happen at the Queen’s army side?"
The little fairy with the pointed hat floated up lightly, gazing at the other side of the plain, seeing the fla appearing there.
"Could it have been an explosion?"
Da Vinci furrowed her brows.
"Did the Queen’s army initiate any action?"
Matthew tightly gripped her shield and spoke solemnly.
