"It is wrong for fairies to ignore their own sins and continue living shalessly."

"The ergence of Britain, the expansion of this land, is equally wrong."

Reiger’s voice had just fallen when Da Vinci raised her hand.

"I have a question." Da Vinci said with a frown, "According to your explanation, isn’t Britain the remnants of Cornus’ corpse? Are we standing on Cornus’ remains right now?"

Da Vinci’s words made everyone feel as if they were sitting on pins and needles, as if they were really stepping on a corpse, causing their legs to feel weak.

Fortunately, Reiger denied this statent.

"No, Britain is not ford from Cornus’ remains, but the expansion began from there." Reiger shook his head and said, "Of course, though not Cornus, Britain’s land is indeed remnants of corpses."

"You should know, right?"

"Fairies do not dissipate upon death but return to nature."

"Their remains beco part of nature."

Perhaps as earth, or forests, rivers, or mountains, fairies, as the world’s tendrils, have the nature of returning to the land upon dying.

Then, the offspring fairies are born, both reincarnations of the deceased fairies and their descendants.

"I see." Da Vinci understood and spoke deeply, "In the beginning, fairies indeed lived on Cornus’ corpse, reproducing there."

"But as ti passed, so fairies began dying, and their corpses returned to nature, beca land, forests, mountains, and rivers, eventually forming this Fairy Country, Britain."

"The reason there is land above the Sea of Nothingness, which lost everything, is that the deceased fairies’ bodies form the land floating on the sea."

That’s how it is.

Everyone felt their emotions becoming complex again.

Knowing they lived atop fairies’ remains left everyone unsure whether to feel sorrowful or sympathetic.

Like Reiger said, from the beginning, Britain was wrong.

It is both a symbol of sin and a cetery made of sinners’ corpses.

With such thoughts, everyone looked at the mural with complex expressions.

Seeing the six fairies supporting the Beast God Cornus, who would consider that they cruelly killed Cornus, who had aided them, trampled on its corpses, and defiled its witch?

"...What about Britain’s curse?"

Altoria suddenly spoke up, asking this question.

"How did the ’Disaster’ that always existed in Britain originate?"

Upon hearing this, everyone exchanged glances.

Britain’s ’Disaster’ has existed since ancient tis, like an inherent natural calamity in Britain, constantly threatening fairy lives.

If Mors is the final fate of fairies that lost their na, aning, and original form, why does it beco the embodint of ’Disaster’ wandering across Britain?

And the ’Great Disaster,’ occurring every thousand years with the potential to destroy the whole Britain—how did it happen?

Originally, everyone had not explored this matter, but knowing Britain’s sins and origins now led them to think of certain things.

"Could it be... the god Cornus?"

Matthew cautiously expressed her viewpoint.

"You seem to have realized." Reiger nodded indifferently and said, "Yes, Britain’s curse is indeed the anger of Beast God Cornus."

"It is angry at the fairies’ refusal to repent."

"It resents the fairies for cruelly treating its witch."

"The human witch that had always been by its side, avoiding the civilization extinction disaster brought by wandering star soldiers, ultimately faced cruel and inhumane treatnt from the fairies due to its rcy. Even though Cornus died, its anger and resentnt still ford an overflowing curse."

"Therefore, a hundred years after Cornus’ death, fairies began dying due to the ’Disaster’ ford by the curse, leading them to flee Cornus’ corpse."

If not for the deceased fairies’ bodies returning to nature as land, the fairies wouldn’t have survived in this world.

"The so-called ’Great Disaster’ occurring every thousand years can also be seen as Cornus’ curse erupting after millennia. Had the fairies not been lucky, Britain would have perished long ago."

Reiger sneered coldly while no one else could even smile.

In the Fairy Calendar before Queen Calendar, many knew the savior Shinobu repeatedly exorcised the ’Disaster’ and saved Britain multiple tis.

During the Queen Calendar after the Fairy Calendar, only one ’Great Disaster’ eruption was recorded, which led to the sacrifice of the Tusk Clan’s forr Chief Reineck. If not for Morgan’s presence, with Woodworth taking her place as Reineck’s successor and heroically fighting on the front line, defeating Mors King and resolving the ’Great Disaster,’ Britain would not be the sa today.

One could only say that fairies were indeed fortunate, as soone always stood up to rescue Britain when they faced their destined end.

Especially in the era before the savior Shinobu ca to Britain, for fairies to survive multiple ’Great Disaster’ threats was nothing short of miraculous.

Of course, miracles co with nurous sacrifices.

Otherwise, why are the six fairies ancestors who committed original sin gone now?

They died cleanly, leaving behind a ss that continues to create tragedy.

"So... Shinobu and Altoria were sent by Paradise to Britain to save fairies with the original intent of having fairies atone, like Cornus?"

Habettelot frowned deeply and said as much.

"..."

Altoria fell silent, speechless.

Reiger glanced at the fairy girl before speaking.

"To correct the errors of Fairy Country Britain, the Inner Sea of the Star did send Paradise Fairies."

"The first sent was Vivian, also known as the savior Shinobu."

"The second sent was Altoria."

The reason Altoria and Shinobu looked the sa was because they were created for the sa purpose.

They were both fairies from Paradise, created to fulfill the mission of ’correcting Britain and saving fairies.’

Reiger paused for a mont before continuing.

"The first Paradise Fairy arrived in Britain during the Fairy Calendar year 4000, over 6000 years ago."

"She drifted ashore to the coast of northern Orkney from the sea and was adopted by the Rain Clan residing in Orkney, where she spent a joyful childhood."

"Thus, she bore no thoughts of correcting Britain or having fairies atone, but rather establishing a peaceful nation."

"Because of this, even after the Rain Clan was destroyed by other clans, she walked across all of Britain, abandoned the na Vivian, and as the savior Shinobu, continuously saved Britain."

"In other words, she forsook her mission as a Paradise Fairy."

Reiger recounted this past in a tone devoid of joy or sorrow.

"It was because she gave up her mission that sixteen years ago, the Inner Sea of the Star sent another Paradise Fairy."

Thus, Altoria of Tintagel was born.

But she wasn’t as fortunate as Vivian.

At least, Vivian had a joyful childhood after drifting to Orkney.

Altoria... received only abuse.
