The next day, early morning.
When the iconic dusk sky of Britain appeared once again, the soldiers of the Round Table Army in the abandoned city of Londinion had already risen early and gathered for training.
The logistics personnel also started work very early, with blacksmiths at their anvils, weavers at their looms, and cooks preparing als, creating a lively and energetic scene that added much to the atmosphere of Londinion.
Reiger also got up early.
There was no helping it; as ti passed, the curse perating all of Britain was visibly intensifying. Others might not notice this change, but for Reiger, who was versed in the curse systems, this change was too conspicuous and greatly agitated his sensitive nerves.
This left Reiger unable to carelessly continue sleeping in bed. He had no choice but to get up early, leave his room, and take a slow walk around Londinion, taking the opportunity to observe the quality of the Round Table Army.
Along the way, many who saw Reiger greeted him respectfully and enthusiastically, and a few girls even ran up to him to hand him so simple breakfast. They blushed after he accepted it and then ran off, exuding a youthful aura.
Apparently, after a night’s ti to spread, the story of Reiger single-handedly breaking into Queen Morgan’s camp and grievously wounding Bagster had already circulated throughout Londinion.
Thus, the people of Londinion knew that this young man, who appeared even younger than Commander Pasival, was in fact astonishingly powerful, and even the renowned Elf Knight was no match for him.
This person was previously thought to be the Child of Prophecy, having repeatedly defeated the Elf Knight. He also vanquished Woodworth, the chieftain of the Tusk Clan, and even slain the Hero who had once saved Britain. He beca the husband of Queen Morgan and was once a prince, ranking just below the very top in all of Britain.
Such a person was, unexpectedly, a human like them, who should be naturally weak like humans.
These remarkable feats and many accolades made it impossible for Reiger to remain unknown, so much so that when Reiger passed by the training grounds, all the soldiers saluted him in unison, their eyes filled with respect. If Reiger weren’t already used to such scenes, he might not have calmly nodded in acknowledgnt before leaving gracefully.
This shows that although Reiger had disappeared from Britain for more than a month, returning only when doomsday was approaching, his deeds and legends associated with him still perated everywhere in Britain.
This indirectly suggests the extent of the commotion caused by Reiger during his last visit to this world.
And for this return, the actions Reiger was about to take would definitely be greater than last ti.
After all, unlike last ti, Reiger now had a clear objective.
Thus, when Reiger returned from his walk, he was already prepared for the next step.
But he was not the only one racing against ti; others were even more urgent than he was.
So, when Reiger approached the training ground again, a ssenger imdiately ran over.
"The commander requests your presence in the operations room!"
The ssenger led Reiger respectfully to the command center of Londinion, where the operations room was located.
It was a place where one could take in the entire view of Londinion at a glance.
It seed to have once been a belfry, but sadly Londinion was not the territory of any fairy clan, and the belfry contained no ceremonial bells. It was more a symbolic than practical structure, modeled after those in other large cities.
Naturally, with Londinion becoming an abandoned city, the belfry had also beco rundown, with incomplete walls and several broken sections.
The so-called operations room was located in one of the rooms there, while the lower rooms seed to be used as reception rooms for Altoria and the group from Chaldea to take temporary rest.
When Reiger arrived, the room was already crowded with people.
Pasival was present, as were Habettelot and Gareth, and Altoria was there, along with Fujimaru Ritsuka, Matthew, Da Vinci, and others from Chaldea.
Even Alberon had arrived, who smiled in relief upon seeing Reiger enter.
"You finally made it, Reiger. I didn’t expect you’d be the last to arrive."
The Fairy King’s intelligence seed as reliable as ever; he probably knew that Reiger had gotten up early, but didn’t expect him to be the last one to reach the operations room.
"I took a walk around Londinion,"
Reiger explained simply, without any evasiveness.
"It’s good that you enjoy Londinion." Pasival smiled slightly, then turned serious and said, "Brilliant..."
Reiger interrupted his words at this point.
"No need for formalities, just call Reiger," he said, shaking his head.
"Alright." Pasival didn’t dwell on it and said, "Since Lord Reiger is also here, let’s start today’s eting."
