Edinburgh is a city built upon a rocky mountain range.
As the territory of the royal clan, Edinburgh isn’t particularly famous across Britain.
Although the city was established during the Queen’s Calendar year 400, with a history of more than 1600 years, it is not long compared to cities with thousands of years of history, not even as old as the decaying Londinium.
This is because, before Queen’s Calendar year 400, the royal clan settled in the northern part of Britain, but their lifestyle was more akin to a nomadic tribe, usually not staying in one place, and rarely establishing cities, with a habit of constant migration.
It wasn’t until Queen’s Calendar year 400 that Queen Mab established Edinburgh, giving the royal clan a permanent ho.
Within Edinburgh, not only do the Northern fairies reside there, but also many Southern fairies who fled and wandered to the North.
Queen Noconalay shares the sa sentint as Queen Mab, welcoming exiled and escaping fairies, as well as those unable to pay existence tax and abandoned fairies, even giving refuge to humans in distress and reportedly providing them employnt, allowing them to stay in Edinburgh.
This tactic undoubtedly differs sowhat from the rumors.
"Isn’t it said that Noconalay dislikes humans?"
Fujimaru Ritsuka asked this question with curiosity.
In response, Habettelot answered like this.
"To her, dislike and having value are completely different matters; even if she has no personal affinity for humans, she recognizes humans as beings capable of encouraging fairies to take action, hence sees a need to value them, thus she employs humans with regular treatnt?"
Upon hearing these words, the Chaldea party imdiately developed a quite good impression of Noconalay.
"Well, isn’t she just a good person?"
Da Vinci even made this comnt, which caused Matthew to nod frequently beside.
"What good person? That arrogant creature could never be a good person!" Altoria seed provoked, jumping up and shouting: "This is certainly just an act! That’s right! It’s a dirty tactic to draw others in!"
Altoria’s appearance at this mont was not that of a timid, passive country girl but rather of a jealous girl motivated by a rivalry with a childhood friend.
She even tried to seek Reiger’s consent.
"Reiger thinks so too, right? You’ve always said fairies are hopeless, right? How could there be good fairies, right?"
Faced with Altoria’s hopeful eyes that seed to seek out comrades in agreent, Reiger’s answer was unexpectedly harsh.
"I only said British fairies are hopeless; the royal clan as Northern fairies is an exception, isn’t it?"
The royal clan is different from the Original Six Fairies, not originating from the Original Six Fairies, but receiving favor from Albion.
They are inherently a different system from the British fairies, though now one of the clans, they cannot be compared to those fairies bearing original sin.
If there’s any fairy clan in Britain that Reiger can have a favorable impression of, it’s undoubtedly the royal clan.
This clan has been taking in abandoned fairies since Queen Mab’s era, treating humans well who were never viewed as slaves, nor has Noconalay ever deliberately targeted humans, even while verbally expressing her dislike for them, she still offers human protection and decent treatnt.
From this point, Queen Noconalay is undeniably as Da Vinci says, a good person.
Moreover, she’s a do-gooder comparable to Altoria.
"It’s no wonder you two knew each other early and beca friends so quickly."
Reiger patted Altoria’s shoulder and said this.
"Friends?"
Fujimaru Ritsuka, Matthew, Da Vinci, and Habettelot were stupefied.
"...Who’s friends with her?"
Altoria muttered quietly but did not refute the notion.
"Alright, we’re about to arrive; prepare to land."
Reiger suddenly spoke out, shifting everyone’s focus toward Edinburgh.
By now, Edinburgh was already in close proximity.
As its na suggests, it appears less of a city, more akin to an enormous castle.
The castle-style dieval city stands atop lofty mountains, surrounded by a moat flowing around, with high bridges connecting to the castle gates and blocks. Coupled with the northern characteristic low temperatures, it gives off the feel of a Nordic icy royal city.
Looking down from mid-air, the bustling streets and vibrant scenes of the city can be vaguely seen, with all the major fairy clans taken in by the royal clan visible, whether handso fairies of the wind clan or rugged fairies of the earth clan, their figures can all be spotted actively within.
"Is that Edinburgh?"
The newcors to Edinburgh couldn’t help but exclaim.
"It feels more free than Salisbury, more vibrant than Norwich, and even busier than Londinium!"
Matthew remarked emotionally.
"Though the fashion capital Gloucester is bustling too, compared to the comrcial vibe of Gloucester, Edinburgh’s vibrancy seems more oriented towards life’s essence, and far from being decadent, it’s full of youthful vigor!"
