If it weren’t for being plotted against, the true body dying miserably, the protagonist group would indeed have been surrounded and slaughtered by Morgan’s clones filling the sky above Calot.
Now, Morgan has not deployed any clones, instead directly engaging the protagonist group in battle in the Jade Throne Hall.
