Now reading: Chapter 1704 - 1159: I’ve Wanted to Do This for a Long Time from Isekai Adventure in the Dimensional Cube, a Sci-fi novel by Confiding Pixie.

Given Reiger’s current Magic capabilities, just how powerful is his strongest offensive Magic when he goes all out with full chanting?

Just look at Cornus’s current state and you’ll know.

As a god, and one who has amassed Curse power for over ten thousand years, Cornus’s strength ranks near the top among all beings Reiger has encountered so far.

Within this British Lostbelt, its power is utterly unmatched; even Morgan couldn’t co up with a definitive way to deal with it, and could only use the Throne and the Twelve Holy Lances to suppress and keep watch, hoping that after Cornus awakened, Britain would still have the strength to oppose it.

It’s easy to imagine just how difficult it would be to take on a god who can decide the life and death of an entire British Lostbelt.

Unless Koyanskaya, as a plaything-beast, could reach her complete form, the current juvenile her would be easily trampled if she were to face Cornus as it is now.

Yet this very monster, under Reiger’s full-power [Fla Storm], had all its flesh burned to the point of rotting away.

"■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■——!!!"

The ancient Horn God let out a world-shaking demonic howl, a scream that seed capable of shaking the world itself. The earth and air quaked without cease, and surging shockwaves and gales rose and fell like a raging storm.

"Boom!!!"

Burned by the raging flas, Cornus appeared to enter a berserk state. As its flesh rotted away, the Curses around its whole body fully erupted, turning into surging torrents of Curse power that crashed against the land again and again like black-and-red tides.

The earth was shattered, collapsed, exploded, and flung into the air under the impact of the Curse flood; the scene was no different from the end of the world.

"Swish!"

Reiger had no intention of taking the exploding Curses head-on. He retreated at high speed, darting backward to evade the surging torrents of Curse that were rushing in.

Under the ravaging of the battlefield’s Curses, everything was almost completely destroyed and leveled. The plains and mountains that once surrounded Calot had vanished, turned into a barren ruin shrouded in black mist.

As he retreated, Reiger’s eyes glead with a transparent light while he scrutinized Cornus, which was being consud by flas.

Under the burning of [Fla Storm], Cornus’s gigantic body was now utterly unrecognizable; nearly all its flesh had been burned away, leaving gleaming white bones exposed to the air.

Even so, Cornus continued to struggle. The black-and-red Curses all over its body surged, gushing out far faster than before, actually repairing Cornus’s flesh.

"As expected, no matter how heavy the damage, the Curses on its body will regenerate its flesh."

Reiger’s eyes flickered slightly.

Cornus had already died long ago; only a corpse remained.

That corpse retained almost none of the original power of the Beast God Cornus; it was only maintaining its shape thanks to an overwhelming Curse.

In other words, Cornus’s current body was nothing more than a heap of bloated, Curse-swollen carrion.

Even if all that rotten flesh were stripped away, as long as the Curse power remained, Cornus could regenerate again and again, recovering over and over.

"To defeat Cornus as it is now, there are only two thods."

Reiger thought silently to himself.

"One is to completely purify all the Curses on that corpse."

This is practically impossible.

Those ten-thousand-plus years of accumulated Curses couldn’t be completely cleansed even by the [Evil-Repelling Heavenly Ladder] that can purify all evil; it could only flay off one layer of the opponent’s skin.

If one tried to defeat Cornus by purging its Curses, even if the fight lasted until next year, it probably still wouldn’t be over.

There’s nothing to be done; the Curse’s power is simply too strong and far too vast. Even Reiger cannot purge it all in a short ti, let alone anyone else.

Therefore, this thod is unworkable.

"The other is to annihilate that massive body together with its ’core.’"

As a Calamity of Curses, Cornus is indeed the embodint of Curse power, but the true reason it beca fully active and awakened completely lies in the offering Alberon sacrificed to it earlier.

That offering beca the core of the Curses, the catalyst that activated the godly remains, leading to Cornus’s complete awakening.

If that core can be destroyed, Cornus’s activity level will drop to the minimum, and its Curse power will likewise fall to the minimum.

At that point, it can be wiped out in one go.

"So it ended up like this after all..."

Reiger shook his head.

He could have stopped Alberon from offering the sacrifice to Cornus, and he could have struck before Cornus was activated by the offering and destroyed it. But because he felt no attachnt to Britain or the fae, and because he wanted to drag Morgan out of this quagmire, he ultimately chose to stand by and watch.

"So having clean up the ss is only natural, isn’t it?"

As he spoke, Reiger actually laughed.

"■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■——!!!"

At this mont, Cornus seed to have flown into a complete rage. Not only did the Curses gushing from its body increase, they also flared up violently like black-and-red flas.
