Now reading: Chapter 3 - 003 Starting from this world from Isekai Adventure in the Dimensional Cube, a Sci-fi novel by Confiding Pixie.

As is commonly known, the ergence of transmigration phenona is, 99 percent of the ti, due to the protagonist possessing a cheat.

Reiger was no exception.

On his first day in this world, Reiger discovered this transparent cube–—the "Dinsional Cube".

It could only exist within Reiger’s mind, unable to be taken out, inobservable, and undetectable by anyone other than Reiger himself.

The function of the cube, as its na implied, was related to dinsions.

"—-—-"

"One: The Dinsional Cube can automatically absorb energy present within dinsions, once a month it can randomly open a dinsional passage for Dinsional Travel."

"Two: The Dinsional Cube has the ability to transform different Dinsion Powers, available anyti for imdiate use."

"Three: The Dinsional Cube includes a storage space, accessible anyti for imdiate use."

"Four: Opening a specified world’s dinsional passage requires ten tis the energy."

"Five: Carrying items through Dinsional Travel requires energy consumption based on the item’s value."

"Six: The ti limit for each Dinsional Travel is equivalent to one day in the original world."

"Seven: ..."

Item by item, Reiger had known these instructions and thods of use since his first encounter with the Dinsional Cube a month ago.

This was also why after coming to this world, Reiger had been so composed and well-behaved.

Even with the knowledge that his was completely damaged, making magic unusable, and that soone was covertly coveting his life, Reiger managed to steady his mind, all thanks to this mysterious Dinsional Cube.

Of course, even without the Dinsional Cube, Reiger wouldn’t have panicked, nor would he have just sat around waiting for death.

An attempt on his life was nothing new; he had been accustod to it in the past without any support, not to ntion now with the assistance of a golden finger.

Now——

"My injuries are fully healed, and I’ve laid in bed for a full month, so the Dinsional Cube’s monthly random dinsion travel should be available now, right?"

Since both Yuri and the Priest said to stay in bed another day, might as well make full use of this day.

Then and there, Reiger lied down with his eyes closed and his consciousness began to operate the Dinsional Cube.

"Initiate dinsional passage."

As Reiger’s consciousness sent the command to the Dinsional Cube, the transparent cube in his mind started to rotate.

"Command received, beginning to initiate the dinsional passage."

"Energy suffices, dinsional passage beginning to construct."

"Construction successful."

In an instant, the transparent cube in Reiger’s mind moved.

It began to rotate one segnt at a ti, like a 3D animation, and then each segnt detached from the main body, splitting into countless transparent cubes, rotating and interlocking with each other.

Soon enough, the rotating interlocking transparent cubes ford a passageway, stretching toward the end of the sea of consciousness, disappearing into the unseen void.

"Dinsional passage opening complete, intelligence gathering finished."

"Sorting through the user’s mories to search for information highly compatible with the world on the other side of the passage, now organizing."

"Organization successful."

"Connected world: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?"

"Ti ratio: 1:100."

"This Dinsional Travel will involve the descent of consciousness, the user’s consciousness will obtain physical form, and death of the physical consciousness will not affect the user, but the death will officially end the current Dinsional Travel, please proceed with caution."

These ssages were received by Reiger’s consciousness from the Dinsional Cube, causing him to freeze on the spot.

Of course, the reason Reiger froze was not due to anything else.

Whether it was the form of Dinsional Travel or the different ti ratios, Reiger had learned about such details when he first encountered the Dinsional Cube, from the user manual.

So, Reiger had foreknowledge that the ti ratios between the two worlds after Dinsional Travel would differ, and he even knew about his impending consciousness descent.

This was the reason behind Reiger’s unworried reliance on the Dinsional Cube from the beginning to the end.

Because of the different ti ratios, even though the dinsional passageway would only last one day, Reiger would still gain ample ti to explore and grow in the other world.

With the form of consciousness descent, even if he were to die during Dinsional Travel, Reiger wouldn’t be affected; the worst-case scenario would be the end of that particular journey.

Thus, Reiger could fully take advantage of the different ti ratios and the absolutely safe circumstances to seek power in other worlds and find solutions to avert crisis.

This was Reiger’s plan.

However, Reiger hadn’t expected that the passage opened by the Dinsional Cube would ultimately connect to such a world.

"Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?"

"Is it really this world?"

Reiger was both surprised and delighted.

The surprise was that the destination of the Dinsional Travel was not so unknown fantasy world, but one that he had watched, seen, and recognized.

The delight also stemd from the sa fact.

After all, while not completely familiar with the opposite world, Reiger still knew quite a bit of information and even the so-called plot.

With this, Reiger could completely skip the ti spent fumbling around and save a great deal of energy. Based on his understanding of this world, he could obtain what he wanted.

Indeed, there were things in this world that Reiger wanted.

This was a fantasy world where all races lived together in harmony, primarily inhabited by humans and demi-humans.

Here, humans were not the only intelligent beings; there were also races like dwarves, beastn, halflings, elves, and Amazons, and even beings like "gods."

These "gods," for the sake of playing with mortals, left Heaven, which lacked any entertainnt, willingly sealed their Divine Power, and descended to the lower world of humans and demi-humans. There, they attracted followers to their family forces by granting them a power called "gumi," thus establishing a foothold on the earth.

"I rember, once one received a god’s gumi, they could level up and beco stronger, just like in a ga, by defeating monsters, enemies, and rivals to gain experience points," Reiger recalled.

For Reiger, who had neither the ti nor the patience for slow training, such a power was undoubtedly most fitting.

As long as he joined a god’s retinue and received their gumi, Reiger would have a way to beco stronger quickly.

Defeating enemies, he would grow stronger.

Hunting monsters, he would grow stronger.

With just a bit of grinding, he would grow stronger.

With experience points, he could beco stronger.

"This first world of Dinsional Travel seems tailor-made for ," Reiger mused.

Realizing this, though Reiger wasn’t excited to the point of shaking, his heart couldn’t help but flutter slightly.

"Is the ti ratio 1:100?"

That ant a day in this world was equivalent to a hundred days in another world.

And the ti limit for Dinsional Travel was one day in the original world.

Under this ti ratio, Reiger could stay in another world for a hundred days.

"Nearly three and a half months... If everything goes well, could I escape my current predicant?"

Reiger didn’t know.

But he had no other choice.

So, with a resolute will, Reiger sent his consciousness towards the Dinsional Channel in his mind, allowing his mind to travel through the channel to another world.

As for Reiger’s body, it remained lying on the bed, in a state of deep sleep.

For any onlooker, Reiger would have just appeared to be sound asleep, resting.

Little did they know, Reiger’s consciousness had already traveled to another world and was no longer in this one.

...

Ti, it seed, lost its aning in that instant.

Reiger didn’t know how long he wandered within the Dinsional Channel, nor did he know how much ti passed before he erged from the channel.

All he felt was as if he were a ghost, floating weightlessly through an endless tunnel of light, seemingly for ages.

After what felt like an eternity, a brightness flashed before Reiger’s eyes, and a sudden heaviness swept over his entire being.

No, it wasn’t his body that had suddenly beco heavy, but rather his weightless consciousness that had suddenly materialized, regaining its mass.

He felt solid ground beneath his feet.

Cries of commotion reached his ears from all around.

Almost reflexively, Reiger opened his eyes to let the scene before him sink in.

He was then seized by astonishnt.

A street full of otherworldly charm had burst into Reiger’s view.

The bustling street was unlike any modern scene in Reiger’s mory but was filled with a fantastical flavor.

There were muscular dwarves ard with weapons and armor, marching with robust, resonant steps.

There were beastn with animal-like ears and tails sharing laughs with human won.

There were elves with pointed ears and exceptionally beautiful features receiving admiration as they strode across the street.

There were halflings like children and tawny-skinned girls chasing and frolicking with each other.

The surrounding buildings resembled those of the dieval era, steeped in historical charm.

A fresh and vibrant fantasy world unfolded amidst the noisy chaos before Reiger’s eyes, informing him that at this very mont, he was standing on such a street, in such a scene.

Although he had just arrived in this world, although he had just acquired a physical form, Reiger’s presence drew no attention from anyone on the street.

Whether they were humans or demi-humans, they all passed by Reiger as naturally as if he had always been there, not seeming out of place at all.

Perhaps this was thanks to Reiger’s current attire?

His original world was one of swords and magic, and its cultural ambience wasn’t much different from this one, and the sa went for the style of dress. This ant that even in this world, Reiger didn’t feel out of place at all; everything was so natural.

After a while, Reiger smiled.

For the first ti, he smiled genuinely.

"Let’s start with this world," he murmured.

Uttering this phrase, Reiger took his first step forward.
