He was counting the gains from the previous night, tallying the magic he had acquired from Momonga.
Under his deliberate guidance, Momonga indeed revealed a considerable amount of information about tiered magic and even demonstrated each in front of him.
Thanks to this, Reiger managed to learn those spells, thus achieving part of his goal for this visit.
The reason it was only a part was that the protagonist Momonga was exceedingly cautious, and Reiger had not been able to trick him into revealing all 718 types of magic.
Not to ntion the necromancy that Momonga specialized in, Reiger hadn’t managed to learn a single spell.
Perhaps out of concern for exposing his undead identity, or maybe to conceal his most proud skills and prevent others from fully grasping his strength, the magic Momonga revealed to Reiger did not include his most adept, necromancy.
It should be noted that among the necromancy spells Momonga controlled, there were spells to summon powerful undead, spells to turn the dead into servants, and even terrifying magic that could cause instant death. Alas, they all slipped through Reiger’s fingers, unattainable.
There was also the rather cheating Resurrection Magic that Momonga did not even ntion, let alone show him.
Moreover, Momonga, not daring to seem too ignorant in front of Reiger for fear of his non-worldly origins being discovered, consciously controlled the amount of information he wanted to obtain, resulting in Reiger only managing to learn ninety-nine spells from him.
Nevertheless, even these ninety-nine spells made Reiger feel that his trip had been quite fruitful.

The only tis he could utilize high altitude were when he propelled himself with non-human leaping force, which hardly counted as flying.
Even when he used "Wind Spirit Swift Walk", it only gave him a brief ability to fly at low altitudes, and it was more like gliding than flying.
Only at this mont was Reiger truly flying, in the most unrestricted sense.
Such was the miracle that only magic could create.
As Reiger ascended higher, he stretched out his hand.

This was a spell that could create magical items.
The full suit of armor that Momonga wore was created with this spell.
Being able to create magical items, this spell alone was much more powerful than the structural magic Reiger typically used.

It was a knife very similar in appearance to the Hermit’s, except that it lacked the divine patterns and the red filigree.

With the ability to create magical items, the knife Reiger made was no longer just re iron, but could rival magic weapons and special armants in craftsmanship.
However, a knife directly created in this way may have the sharpness and durability of a second-tier weapon, but it lacked the special effects of magic weapons.
In magic weapons and special armants, so possess unique abilities.

Now it was different. Being able to casually produce a knife with performance comparable to a second-tier weapon was more than enough for regular opponents.
Back in the day, before the Hermit was modified, it was slightly less powerful than a second-tier weapon.
There and then, Reiger created a sheath, stowed the knife into it, and hung it on his waist.
Unless he encountered a worthy opponent, this knife would serve as his primary weapon to carry at all tis.
Having completed these tasks, Reiger moved on to experint with another spell he found very practical.
"’Dinsional Movent’."
Reiger’s figure vanished from his original spot and instantly reappeared at another location.
This was teleportation magic.
In a nutshell, it’s a type of magic that seems to belong to the spatial series, capable of instantaneously teleporting a person.
"Amazing," Reiger murmured to himself with delight, "Instant teleportation, this kind of magic in the hands of a close-combat specialist is simply a divine evasion technique."
Reiger then began to experint with teleportation magic in midair, disappearing in one mont and appearing in the next.
To Reiger’s enemies, the spectacle would have been absolutely terrifying.
"It’s a pity that ’Dinsional Movent’ is only the most basic teleportation magic, with a teleportation range that’s not long enough, otherwise it could even be used for travel."
Although ’Dinsional Movent’ is a teleportation magic capable of instant movent, it is only third-tier magic, hence the teleportation distance is limited and can be obstructed by barriers or even buildings.
