Lakyus had been keeping a close eye on Reiger Brillhaut recently.
The reason was simple.
As Gegran had ntioned, it involved a senior mber of the Heroic Domain.
This senior mber had chosen to retire after Iveyer joined the Heroic Domain, ceding their position to Iveyer.
Lakyus hadn’t been in contact with this person for quite so ti, and their whereabouts were always a mystery; even if she wanted to reach out, it wouldn’t be an easy task.
However, not long ago, this forr mber suddenly contacted Lakyus and entrusted her with a mission.
"I hope you can investigate this person, Reiger Brillhaut," they had said.
That was the commission.
The specifics were left unsaid by them.
But they hinted at sothing.
"This person is very special and could potentially have a trendous impact on the world."
"Whether this influence is good or bad, I can’t be certain right now."
"So, I hope you will take this commission seriously and try to make contact with that person if possible."
That is what they said.
Therefore, during this period, Lakyus and the other mbers of the Heroic Domain had been monitoring Reiger and investigating him using their own connections and channels.
The fact that Gegran was able to rattle off so much information about Reiger in front of Clem wasn’t without reason.
Now that Gegran and Iveyer had actually encountered Reiger, it had caught Lakyus’s attention.
"How did you co across him?" Lakyus imdiately inquired.
Gegran and Iveyer recounted their encounter with Reiger and Gejiev at the adventurer inn and their subsequent visit to Gejiev’s house due to Brian’s situation.
"I see," Lakyus finally understood and sighed, "Brian Angelos actually encountered such an ordeal? Poor thing!"
However, Tia and Tina’s focus was different from Lakyus’s.
They didn’t care about Brian’s situation; they were only interested in how Reiger behaved when he faced Brian.
"You’re saying that Reiger Brillhaut caught Brian Angelos’s full-powered strike just with his fingers?"
"Is that even possible?"
"No matter how you look at it, Brian Angelos is a genius Swordsman who fought evenly against soone like Gejiev Strogonov, and even if he were in bad shape, such a full-powered strike from him shouldn’t be easily caught by just anyone, right?"
"Not to ntion catching it with just two fingers; this seems like sothing not even the boss could do, right?"
Tia and Tina expressed their doubts about this.
Everyone looked at Lakyus, who in turn nodded.
"If you were prepared with counterasures in advance, like using a special magic item or casting a defensive spell beforehand, then it might be worth a try. But from what you’re saying, Reiger Brillhaut seems to have relied purely on his warrior prowess to overpower Brian Angelos and caught his full-powered strike with just two fingers, right?" Lakyus spoke as if lanting her own inadequacy.
"If that is the case, then even if I were twice as strong, I probably couldn’t manage such a feat."
The leader of the Heroic Domain, who had already stepped into the realm of heroes, made such an assessnt, prompting everyone to show serious expressions.
"Does that an Reiger Brillhaut is stronger than the boss?"
"And by quite a lot?"
Tia and Tina were incredulous.
Gegran and Iveyer had no doubts about it.
"You weren’t there and didn’t feel how powerful that man was like we did," Gegran said gravely. "If you had been at the scene and felt the aura emanating from that man when he drew his sword, you’d know his strength is on a completely different level from ours."
"Exactly," Iveyer agreed solemnly with Gegran. "To be honest, this is the first ti I felt a sense of danger from a human, the kind that I might be killed at any mont, sothing not even a demon could evoke in , yet he managed to."
"If we were to be enemies with that man, even rudely speaking, we’d probably all be killed in the blink of an eye, even with present."
These words finally made Lakyus, Tia, and Tina collectively pale.
"Even you, Iveyer, aren’t his match?"
Lakyus was shocked.
There was no helping it.
Others might not know, but Lakyus and the others were well aware of Iveyer’s strength.
Perhaps the world believed that the strongest in the Heroic Domain was Lakyus, who was young yet had entered the realm of heroes; however, this belief was a gross misunderstanding.
The strongest mber of the Heroic Domain wasn’t Lakyus, who had stepped into the realm of heroes, but rather the girl whose face had not been revealed and who was as short as a young girl—Iveyer.
Iveyer was the latest to join the Heroic Domain, yet she was the most powerful among them, with her strength far surpassing that of Lakyus.
The two weren’t even on the sa level because Iveyer had an extraordinary origin and her strength couldn’t be asured by human standards.
If using the adventurer guild’s difficulty standards, Lakyus was soone who couldn’t even handle level 90, while Iveyer could deal with level 150 with ease, even capable of defeating the Molten Rock Ruler of the Angelosia Mountain Range, as ntioned by Gegran before.
