Hearing Reiger’s words, Liz opened her mouth but couldn’t utter a single word; she was silent for a very, very long ti.
Unconsciously, the young princess cast her gaze on the Moslo sword in her embrace, recalling the figures holding golden swords depicted in the murals and was unable for a long ti to co back to her senses.
It was at this ti, Reiger put forth another conjecture.
"I have been thinking about what that Hidden Land you ntioned is," Reiger said, "and now I am beginning to suspect that this so-called Hidden Land is actually where your people, hailed as heroes in the ancient Magic civilization, secluded themselves."
This could be inferred to so extent from the na of the place.
At least, Reiger felt that if indeed any of the hero clan from the ancient Magic civilization had survived and were currently thriving, having propagated for a whole eleven thousand years, they wouldn’t be as unknown as they are today.
These were the heroes who once led humanity in resisting the demon hordes, the royal bloodline of ancient humans, the bloodline acknowledged by the gods worshipped by all in that era.
Only people of this clan could engage in Dinsional Travel under the guidance of the Dinsional Magic Cube, obtaining power from other worlds. Based solely on this, the status of this clan in the ancient tis must have been exceedingly high, described as transcending the mundane world would be no exaggeration.
Maya treated Liz so well, so kindly, and even explicitly stated that she couldn’t casually discuss that clan, which was already proof of the exalted status the hero clan held in their era.
If such a family truly thrived in the modern era for eleven thousand years, then with their abilities, their influence, Reiger had every reason to believe that they would have already ruled the entire continent of Akasha, and would not let Akasha be in a state with nations aplenty and constant war like it is now.
Unless, that clan had secluded themselves and no longer interfered in the mundane world.
"Your grandmother Mia also ntioned that one day, you can go to the Hidden Land with the beast skin map, right?"
"That is probably guiding you ho, to return to your clan."
"But you also said she doesn’t seem to approve of you going back. In that case, could it be that your mother once made a mistake in the Hidden Land of the hero clan, or sothing happened?"
"If so, what exactly happened that caused your mother to leave her holand, to leave the Hidden Land, to et your father outside, and thus give birth to you?"
Having said this, Reiger shrugged his shoulders.
"There are still many mysteries. In my view, if you want to fully unravel the mystery of your identity and know about your mother’s past, finding the Hidden Land is probably the only way."
With that, Reiger’s words ca to an end.
That’s as much as he could speculate.
"Finding the Hidden Land..."
Liz clearly took in Reiger’s words, and the bewildered expression on her face gradually disappeared.
Before long, Liz stood up and bowed to Reiger to express her gratitude.
"Thank you for telling so much, Master," she said.
Liz’s voice had finally regained its original vitality, now with an added tint of determination.
Apparently, the young princess had made up her mind to find the Hidden Land and unravel the mysteries of her origins.
"Really... really... really thank you so much! Master!"
The young princess’s eyes then quietly moistened, causing her unconsciously to plunge into Reiger’s embrace.
"I’m so glad you are here, Master, or I really wouldn’t know what to do..."
The deep gratitude in Liz’s heart was fully embodied in this passionate hug.
Reiger could only forcefully subdue his restlessness and tenderly stroked the head of the girl in his arms.
"Master."
After standing up, the girl handed a ring to Reiger.
Seeing this, Reiger was montarily taken aback.
Naturally, he recognized the ring.
"Isn’t this what Maya let you take with you?" Reiger looked at Liz with surprise and said, "You’re giving it to ?"
"Yes," Liz nodded gravely, "I feel this ring isn’t suited for . Probably only the Master can unleash its true power."
At her words, Reiger took the ring with a sowhat puzzled look, examining it closely.
It looked less like a ring and more like a band.
There were no precious gems inlaid on the band, nor was it adorned with any gold or silver; it looked rather plain, mystical even.
If there was sothing special about this ring, it would be the exceptionally unique material.
It seed to be crafted from a very special, bizarre tal; pure white like jade and faintly translucent, it resembled crystal at first glance.
And on the surface of this crystal ring, whether on the outside or the inside, were carved intricate runes.
Upon close inspection, Reiger was surprised to find that there was a flowing light moving across these runes.
"It seems indeed to be a very precious treasure," he mused.
After a mont’s thought, Reiger still decided to use a Magic spell of identification on this crystal ring.
As the Magic spell of identification had failed when it was used on the ring in the temple, this ti Reiger increased the power of the identification Magic.
"[Magic Level Ascension·High Order Artifact Identification]."
Magic Level Ascension, as the na implies, is capable of elevating the level of Magic being cast.
When using such Magic to enhance effects, a lower-level Magic spell could temporarily beco a higher-level Magic spell. As long as one had sufficient capability and Magic Power, even a first-level Magic could be boosted to the tenth level in one go.
At this very mont, Reiger used such an enhancent effect, temporarily elevating the "[High Order Artifact Identification]" to the highest Magic level of the tenth order.
Thanks to this, the true nature of the hero clan’s ultimate treasure finally revealed itself before Reiger’s eyes.
